I wasent going to post in here but thought I might provide some hope of reassurance to others in same situation. I got my super feint BFP on 13dpo. Retested today and it's about doubly bright. Bought a cheapo too. Still very light for this stage. I don't think I could have ov much later as I've been doing 4 opk day lol

I've had no symptoms at all. Nothing. I got my solid smiley this month with no flashes again for 2nd month in a row on cd14. Also got *almost* posatives with 2 other brands opk. But in my 4 months of charting ive never had a true posative opk. They get colour but never as dark or darker than control. We bd day of solid smiley, twice next day and day after too. I had no ewcm. Used preseed. I had some pully achey pain about 3dpo-5dpo but apart from that nothing. Boobs normal. Not going to toilet more or overnight. Don't feel any different at all. I'm hoping all is ok though, but just to say you don't always get symptoms in tww. This has been same for all my pregnancies, which doesn't fill me with too much hope this is a boy as I'd have loved to feel different! So here I am. Pregnant. Very overweight as been on he almost 6 months. But happy. I am just praying is healthy, sticky and blue!!! Please send me any spare blue dust :) thanks atomic for all the help and advice, especially in the beginning when I had a q everyday. Wishing everyone else all the luck in world xxx

Oh and totally random but my cats knew. They started behaving wierd and the standoffish one came very overly affectionate. Only just put 2 and 2 together now x

Congratulations!! Pregnancy symptoms wouldn't be any different in the beginning since the Y chromosome isn't activated until the 10th week. Lots of blue dust to you!!!

I didn't have symptoms with at least 2 of my BOY pregnancies till much later.

You literally cannot have any different symptoms with male vs. female conceptions at this stage of the game because the Y chromosome is totally dormant until about 10 weeks gestation (and by that point most of us are already having our early symptoms go away anyway)

Sending you tons of blue dust!!

Thanks everyone. I have that feeling where you've gone on a ride and your strapped in climbing up and you know its too late to stop and get off, you will either enjoy the ride or not! its too late to change anything now, all I can do is hope and prey its my turn, not much more we could have done. I will be super attentive during week 10 to see if I notice anything at all different xxx

No I've stopped he. To be honest if I carried on for much longer I think I'd have given myself a heart attack. I've stopped snacking and I'd already started weaning off supps in 2ww so I'm only on a pregnancy vit and additional folic acid. Think I'm taking about 3mg a day with what's in my vit. I will continue to eat breakfast but I'm hoping to not gain any weight this pregnancy or even loose some taking into account how much I've already gained so far :( I'm going to my gp as there's some diets you can do while pregnant to help loose weight safely. So hoping I can try one once I'm past 12 week mark, I'm too scared to loose weight during first 12 weeks. Hope your ok. It still doesn't feel real x

do NOT lose weight in pregnancy. This is VERY important. it is ok to cut back on your eating but it is mandatory with a blue sway that you continue gaining weight in pregnancy. I don't care what anyone's GP says, boys need more nutrients from the second of conception straight on through life and it is a very bad idea to cut back on food intake.

Baby2016baby. I never have any early pregnancy symptoms. Feeling the baby move and a growing belly has always been my 1st symptom same for all 3 pregnancies.

Also I wanted to say that growing a big boy took a lot out of me. In spite of eating HE with less snacks I gained less weight on that pregnancy and because I had more muscle the weight fell off me after delivery. 2 weeks after he was born I was at prepregnancy weight and another 2 weeks after that I had lost all my HE weight (8lb)

Congrats!!! I wouldn't worry, I don't think most women get strong symptoms at the very start, I never felt any different til about week 6, until then it was just that positive test that let me know I was pregnant. Good luck, hope u get your little boy!! X
