I was wondering how long before our attempt would you recommend taking fiber? We're going to start trying in October, I'm not sure whether to take them from now or wait until nearer the time?
Also, is there anything that would have a similar effect to clomid/femara? Unless we run into problems conceiving I doubt I'd get them prescribed!
Thank you :)

Following. I have fibre supplements but im terrible at remembering to take them. Just wondering if it's pointless now (being a month away from our sway attempt) or whether if I take them for a month religiously if that will make a difference

I might be wrong but I thought fibre tablets were for helping you not absorb all the fat in your meals. So you would take them when you have started the LE diet with your meals. Especially if you've had a high fat meal.
I'm sure atomic will chime in to correct this if I'm wrong anyway.
I can't really take them because they interfere with metformin and would have to take them at least 2 hours after my meal. I'm not sure how much help they are at that stage.

Take fiber as far in advance as possible so if you have some I would start straight away or if you haven't yet bought some I would get some. I am not starting my attempts until September but I have been taking fiber for a good few months. The sooner you start the better. Good luck.

I'd start as far in advance as is feasible. no need for max dose or anything, just a little before every meal containing fat.
You can actually start fiber before starting LE Diet. IT's just an easy way of shedding a few nutrients (since the fiber absorbs them)
The "herbal" Clomid, soy isoflavones, I am kinda meh about. I feel like they never work as good as the real thing and a lot of people even beleive they sway blue...I do think they sway pink but they're just soooo unreliable and mess up people's cycles as well. Diet longer than 12 weeks and exercise also get us great results so I'd just do those things.

Yes can still make a difference at this point. Go for it.

:agree: No, 100% correcct. I would not bother taking them 2 hours after eating as I believe they only help when taken (preferably) before or barring that, immediately after.

Thanks so much for your replies!
Does anyone know when I should start to take Saw Palmetto? Is it still recommended for girl sway? I've bought some but not sure if I start now (a coupe of months before ttc) or do I wait until we have our attempt?
Thank you!

I cannot give a blanket recommendation on SP since it's not right for everyone.
It's been disappointing in results and we use it less and less but some still do choose to use it.
I have people for whom it is safe, start it 6 weeks before, but take it CD 1-12 or to positive OPK only, whichever comes first. then take the rest of the month off.
