That's tricky because there's no way to predict how your body will react to something! Some have found that Vitex delays their O, probably by lowering their oestrogen levels so that it takes longer to build up enough for an LH surge. Vitex is said to sway girl too.

Yes, I think taking vitex every day and then only stopping it 1-2 days before you want to O, is a good bet.

Taking soy iso can also delay O.

Would your doc prescribe birth control pills? I normally don't like people taking them for swaying, but if you have a legitimate reason to need to move your ovulation, that's different than just wanting to move it to get it into the right "moon phase." That is not terribly reliable either and it can take months to stabilize it, just so you know the possibility exists.

Thanks Atomic , how much vitex would do it ? i have tabs that are 1000mg but on the bottle it says to take 1-2 a day?
And would you recomend the b6 also because that really moved my O late in my cycle once before , i was actually taking mega b but i suspect it was the B6 that affected O?
And i cant take birth control pills because i get really ill from them ,i always have and ive tried them all.
Thanks Again:happy:

Oh me too from the BC pills. Like morning sickness!!

Since you're WANTING to supress O for a little while, I would take 2 pills, one in the morning and one at night, stopping 2 days before you wanted to O. I don't normally recommend this high a dosage so if you don't tolerate it well, you'll want to reduce it to one.

I have mixed feelings about B6 because I think it might sway blue a little bit. If it works for you, obviously that's something to include but if you can get by with the vitex, that would be best.

oh yeah ,BC pills cause the morning sickness feeling for me too ,YUCK
Ill try the higher dose of vitex and see how i go , the only reason i thought the B6 was because i KNOW for sure it delays my so O so kinda like a back up just incase vitex dosnt do the trick, do you think the vitex will do it alone cause now im am freaked about the B6 swaying blue ? thanks again

I read somewhere that B6 sways pink... so perhaps it doesn't actually sway either way?

B6 was a part of the traditional sway supps because it raises progesterone and one very vocal researcher claims that high prog = girls and high T and E = boys. However, this is very far from proven, and since the Oxford study found nutrients across the boards tend to sway blue and this is inline with what the Trivers Willard Hypothesis would predict (plus my sway failed while I was taking 100 mg of B6, along with some other failed sways all in a row who were all taking B-vites), I began to feel that it was too risky a thing to include in the sway unless someone had a legitimate reason to take it, like a short LP. Interestingly, at this same time, A-Gender (a company that helps swayers for a fee) also dropped B6 from their suggested supplements because they felt it was causing opposites.

The vitex worked pretty good for me as long as I took it past when I expected to O, but everyone is different. At least you know that you have the B6 as an ace in the hole if you need it.
