I have my dh on OLE (is there a rule how long he can take this? It's been over 3 months now).

My nature path has had me on all kinds of BOY FRIENDLY things to get my health back after my amniotic infection disaster. I can't get pregnant with a girl if I'm too sick to get pregnant at all so I've had to give in on this one.

I will be taking Femara *but seriously, dies this ACTUALLY increase rusk of birth defects?* and I am almost entirely vegan to my utter dismay so that will help sway girl.

Dh is on overdrive and wants to Dtd daily. I know with my first daughter we Did that (a different man) and got a girl. I think there was a 3 day cut off, or at least 2.

We only Dtd 1 with Lily and while I wasn't paying any attention I think it was a 2 day cut off.

If dh and I Dtd every day will that be enough to be in girl zone or is that serious boy territory? Would we need to do it twice a day to be considered FR? Would that put us in girl zone?

I'm scared to do only 1 attempt each month. I'm turning 40 next month and don't have time to waste! I also.get 4 day migraines from the femera abd want to make each cycle REALLY count! Don't want to take it more than I have to.

So, suggestions please?

I know E4D is what is preferred here but is there another equally good option (or nearly as good, like dtd 2x a day?

No, when taken for fertility issues Femara does not increase risks of birth defects. Only when taken DURING pregnancy as a cancer treatment. please take a pregnancy test every month before starting the Femara even if you have what seems like a normal period. You can be pregnant and have a normal period so it's really important to take a test after your period comes just to be absolutely sure.

Please give me a rundown of what the naturopath has you on. Some of these things are not safe when TTC or on Femara.

DTD every day or 2x a day actually can lower odds of conception. I would never have any 39 year old woman on Femara do that, and it's not because of swaying, it's because it can really cut odds of conception to nothing. EVen if you've gotten pregnant that way in the past it's not worth it. If you want to get pregnant fast, please do SMEP and you can read that here Sperm Meets Egg Plan (http://www.pregnancyloss.info/sperm_meets_egg_plan.htm)

Thanks Atomic.

I'm on matcha and alfalfa powder as well as tumeric which I will quit before ttc. She has me on mineral drops, vit b, c, d, zinc and of course folic. Also fish oils and iodine for my thyroid which is sluggish.

On my own I'm taking ubiquinol.

Nothing too crazy but I know zinc, and vit d sway boy as I'm. Sure the matcha snd alfalfa do too. I will ge quitting them all when I start the Femara, I know you can't take do much with that.

Onice I begin femera I intended to stay on coq10, vit b, vit d, zinc, mineral drops (just trace minerals) and folic. I was going to drop everything else. Does all.that sound reasonable? I know it's not very girl but I'm hoping be g vegetarian will make up for it!

It's not about swaying, it's that I see too many naturopaths handing out herbs that actually are harmful to health or to fertility (by messing up cycles) so I just wanted to be sure you weren't on any of them.

I would lose the matcha and the alfalfa with the Femara. :agree: they both have phytoestrogens in them that may muck up the way the Femara works. :)

Both being a vegetarian and the Femara will be swaying pink for you. :)
