My partner and i would love to try sway for a girl baby in a year or so and i will purchace a plan closer to when we start our sway. But just curious as to what are our chances even with a good sway when my partner is a body builder/ heavy weight lifter. Ive read that sways boys so do we have much of a chance at a girl and how long would he have to stop gym for decent chance and would he have to lose a lot of his muscle mass

I do not know the answer to your question, but my BIL is in the gym every day working out. He plays arena football and still hopes to make it to the NFL one day, so the gym is his job. He and his wife have a baby girl. So I still think you have a chance.

It might have some effect, but I don't think that dad's diet and exercise impact the outcome anywhere near as much as mom's does.

We have seen anecdotally overwhelmingly more girls conceived to bodybuilders. There are bodybuilding forums that have threads about it, even.

Please don't make him stop weightlifting. You don't know that is why you have boys anyway. I would focus on what is working best for us - which is LE Diet for YOU plus fiber, coffee, and alcohol 12 weeks or longer, cardio exercise 60 min. 6-7 days a week, and one attempt or every 4 days. Clomid or Femara for you if you can get it. Nothing else has been anywhere near as effective as those things.

Thanks for reply. I wonder tho do a lot of body builders have girls as a lot are taking testosterone. He doesnt take testosterone. He does all natural and eats large amounts of protein. Defs dont think its the reason why we have boys but wondee if its a contributing factor. Both of us were eating extremely boy friendly diets before conceiving. Also i was very anorexic yrs prior than recovered and concieved so gained weight which seen u post this can sway boys. Ahh wanting a girl so badly sucks so much. I always wanted a boy so very thankful to have 2. But so scared i wont get a lil girl. :'( how do ppl deal with those emotions.

It's not easy, but if it helps at all we have all been there and completely understand.

Yeah, we speculate it may be because of something some bodybuilders are taking but we just don't know.

Some of us have gone on to recover from ED and still get girls though. It is possible. I do prefer that my recovering ED sufferers not do diet but just go vegetarian. We get good results with this as well.

I was thinking about going vegetarian as i thought it seemed like a really good way to sway but unsure. This is our last attempt so want it to be our all. Thx for ur help will be in touch in near future when we decide to go ahead with our sway.

That is my very great preference for anyone in this boat - if you have an eating disorder, just go vegetarian. Don't even try to do the full LE Diet as the attention to the numbers will make you think about food too much and would probably only sway blue by aggravating your control-freak tendencies (most of us blue mamas have those)

Im defs a control freakk. Not sure if i can handle letting go of reducing calories slightly to try up chances. Ahhhh freaking out about swaying hardcore and not even starting yet. Wish i had two attempts at this but hubby said only one more wahhhh :(

Just go vegetarian for now and see how it feels. We sometimes forget that we have time and wiggle room to adjust over time and think we have to dive into the deep end on day one, but you don't. In fact that approach sets you up to fail because it's too much all at once.

I always forget how to make a new post hah i suck. Looks like we are going to start ttc end of this yr. We were going to do end of next yr but changed our minds again. Im quite thin already. I can lose some weight but probs not too much. Would you recommend gaining a bit of weight before starting swaying or is it better to remain thin for longer and maybe losing a couple of kgs just before ttc? Also how far in advance should I start taking folinic acid? Also I've heard ppl reckon it's better to do a turbo sway when you only diet from ur period until ovulation each month. They reckon the shock it does to system sways better but I always thought it was more ideal to sway for longer periods? Also how often should drink alcohol for swaying? Sorry for all questions. Also we are buying plan off you how far before ttc should we do that?

To make a new post you have to open a forum. That is the part people tend to miss. Go to the forum you want to post in, don't click on a thread but the forum itself. Then you'll have the "start new thread" option.

No, I do not recommend gaining and then losing weight (I can go into why this is if you'd like). Do not try to lose any weight, either. Try to hold steady where you are, do diet with that goal in mind, then if a teensy amount sneaks off, it won't stop you ovulating.

Start folic as far in advance of TTC as you can.

Those people are wrong. We started off thinking it was equally likely that a short, intense sway would be effective vs. a longer slower one but our results showed definitively that 12 weeks or more on diet (even though it was much less intense) was vastly, vastly superior (20%) to a short time on diet even when people were very strict.

Alcohol we honestly don't know how often but most are doing 1-2 glasses a day and getting good results with that.

You can buy the plan whenever you want, totally up to you. Most will buy about 3 months before you plan to TTC, that gives 3 months lead time, 3 months swaying. But you can renew the plan indefinitely so even if you buy it far in advance it is ok, you can just renew as needed. I would prob. not wait till last minute though - just makes it hard on yourself.

Oh I don't think I have your questionnaire yet - once I get that I can make your plan.
