Is there a link between Chen Yun Wan pills and gender? I’m desperately hoping for a girl. After 8 months of fertility treatment including a round of IUI we decided to take a break as we had a move ahead and trip to Europe and also I wanted to give my body a rest. Surprise we got pregnant the following month sans fertility drugs with just one try. We are thrilled! That cycle I started taking traditional Chinese herb (pills) Chen Yun Wan (cannot be used with clomid) to prepare my eggs when we start trying again. The timing is the worst possible as there is/was so much stress with the move (still living in a temporary place) and the trip (is there correlation between stress and gender?). I started personalized LE-diet (vegetarian) over a year ago and stuck with it for over 7 months until we had failed several rounds of clomid and HCG shots. I added prenatal, vitamin B- complex and fish to my diet to up my chances of getting pregnant. Now I’m really worried it’s going to be another boy. I already have 2 boys and would love a girl to complete our family.

The Chen Yun Wan may help sway pink by lowering blood sugar.

I also know tons of people who get pregnant with girls after doing the 6 months of Clomid.

Thank You Atomic. I regret going back on prenatal and the B-complex (as they sway strongly for boy) but I thought maybe I didn't get enough nutrients to get pregnant. My first two were conceived within 4 months. My np-ultrasound is this Friday and I'll be 12 weeks then. What I've understood that the nub-shot is too early to give any indication on the gender. Is that true?

I just realized I wrote IVF being part of your fertility treatment. I meant IUI! We didn't get as far as IVF. Pregnancy brain!

12 weeks is earlier than I feel good about. I think by the very end of the 12 week, into the 13th and 14th are most reliable for nubs. After that there's a "gray zone' for a couple weeks while nub and potty are both not reliable, then 18+ you can start telling from potty shot.
