First Peak on the CBE test

Does anyone know how soon you can ovulate after getting a peak positive on the Clear Blue tests? I got my first one this morning, but already feeling ovulation pains on my left side. Is it possible to ovulate that soon after getting a smiley face or am I just imagining them because a little test told me I was ready?

O pains do not tell you when or if you're ovulating. You can have them before, during, or after ovulation.

You will O an average of 24-36 hours after the first peak. Unfortunately there are exceptions to this, but 95 times out of 100 the exceptions are people ovulating later. It's relatively unusual to O right after getting a peak, not unheard of, just not that common. :)
