Please check this Chinese Gender Chart

First, let me start off by saying I am totally AGAINST these things!!!! However, the other day, I stumbled across this one and it was right for all 3 of my boys.....and says that 2 of my 3 m/c's were boys, 1 would have been a girl according to this.

I feel like such a nut, because I know better, but I've never read one that had these directions and was right for me each time (choose your age at birth and conception month)

It was wrong for both of mine, but for the one I am pregnant with now it says girl, so hopefully it will be right this time.

I checked it. Wrong for all of my boys. The cool thing is, this time it says M :) I'm hoping I'm an opposite!

It was right for 2 of my boys and wrong for 1, says the next one will be a girl. Interesting that it's based on mother's age at birth - what happens if you are late or early and you have a birthday, does the baby's sex change then?!

Bad thing is, if I am pg now ( only 5dpo atm :sigh: ) it says girl in June. I hope I am pg and the chart will be wrong this time :bigsmile:

Usually with the Chinese calendar you have to calculate your lunar age first.

Right now, according to the calender, I am 1 year older than I current am because of lunar age, not calendar age. According the lunar calendar and my lunar age, I would conceive a boy this month if I were to conceive.

According to that one, I should have 3 girls, but the opposite is true. ;) All the old wives' tales and gender charts, etc, usually say girl for me, but I have 3 boys. Maybe that means IF everything points to boy next time I'll have a girl. :)

If I add a year to the age on the first link that was the age I was when I gave birth, then it's right with my boys. If I go by the age i was when I was pregannt with them, it's wrong. It said girl. Now, when I looked it in dec of both years of 33 and 34 years of age, it's said girl, so maybe this time it will be right.

This was right for all 3 of my sons. Supposedly if I get pregnant nov. or dec. I should have a girl. Jan, feb and march conceptions will be boys!

Mine was wrong for DS1, right for DS2 and if I fall pregnant in November, it is predicting girl. Who knows.....

Do you do it with the lunar age or the normal age?

You must use lunar age and lunar month for the chart as the chart was created by the ancient Chinese. They didn't have western age at that time. You can do the age conversion by using the lunar age calculator (http://www.chinesegenderchart.info/gender-calculator.php).
