Thanks Burakoam. Not sure which side DD came from, I was able to get pregnant with her naturally after only 2-3 cycles of trying.
It's just my theory since I only got BFP's 3 times in the last 2 years, those ended in MC or CP, and I seem to ovulate from the left a lot of the time. I ovulate every month on my own and have had multiple eggs when stimulated but no BFP's seem to happen for me when it's on the left; could also just be a coincidence. When I had my HCG procedure done last Decemeber my left tube was almost pointing straight up. They say your tubes move around all the time but I worry in the back of my mind that my tube is stuck that way and the eggs can't travel it right. Even when they do an internal ultrasound they can't see my left ovary with it, they always have to move to abdominal to see the follicles, I guess my utereus is in the way or something. I did mention it to the RE before, they say a high percentage of women actually do get pregnant from the right side, they don't know why that is. Also he said the only way to know if my tube is still in the same position is to do another HCG. I'm sure I am just overthinking things but I just want my healthy sticky BFP!

I had a dip in my FF ovulation chart today too.
I am beyond confused. Did I ovulate.. and I ovulating? It's so hard to read!

Robin - You have good fade ins and if they were mine i would think tmw (CD14) would be a positive. Your CD13 is looking very good and very close to a positive OPK. (Dont quote me on anything though) If you put these images in a new thread for Atomic she will tell you exactly! :)
See my OPK's attached here: (fade ins and positive on CD12) :)

Looks like you should get a positive soon! That line is still lighter than the control! Hopefully next day or two!
XX sometimes because of how clomid works you will ovulate pretty late in your cycle. depending on the circumstances your body may have needed more time to gear up to ovulate in order TO ovulate..so it's possible you are only 8 DPO. I will be patiently waiting for good news for you on Friday... I don't think the cramping puts you out... I had never cramped before a BFP in any pregnancy and cramped super bad this time. Score the BFP... it was bad and I was so sure it was my period. It was just baby REALLY demanding the best spot I think LOL
Kat- hoping it's not an Evap but only way to know is an FRER:) and even those can be squinters so good luck I hope there is two lines!

Shouldn't the expensive smileys give me a positive reading today?
Also does the dip in FF indicate ovulation?

When you get a test line that is as dark or darker than the control then you are having your lh surge and you will ovulate between 12-36 hours later. You're still in the lead up now you have some amount of lh but not a surge amount, so you might get a positive tomorrow and then ovulate at some point after that. If you are using the CB digi with only the solid smiley then you won't get it until your are having the surge, there is also the advanced kind that gives you a flashing smiley before the solid. Hope that helps!

6 days until she is meant to arrive, so bang on schedule.
I know we always say, we're not out until we're out, but this is definitely not implantation.

Robin it's actually flashing smileys before a solid smiley at your surge... but not everyone gets the flashing smiley. Some just go from low to high even in the ones that have the option for flashing. Had that with my clomid BFP cycle and also this last BFP cycle so you can still 100% get pregnant even if there is no flashing face.
also no clue if you are in the states or U.K. Robin but I have noticed you are not going to get a solid smiley during the day on the first day of your surge, only if you actually surged the day before. The reason is LH is higher at night so if you get a solid during the day chances are it actually surged the night before.
I would put my money on ovulation day for you actually being CD 16 but you may see a solid smiley on your CB if you test tonight around 9-10 pm. Can confirm my last two BFP's I had a low fertility in the morning and peak that same night both babies.
Burakoam

And if it's negative tonight when you test but solid in the am then you surged as you slept in the middle of the night. Hope that makes sense!

Robin unless your opks states to test with fmu (as in clearblue dual hormone digi's) then you should be testing with an afternoon sample. Most opks recommend between 11am - 4pm. If you think you have a short surge then maybe test at night too :) I believe its because testing with fmu on standard opks can give a false positive.

I always test between 3-5pm because that's when lh is maximum in urine, and l don't drink about 2 hours before too. I've done this for 5-6 days a month and it works well, though costly. I usually have 2 days of positive opk, one negative day and a temp change. I've been wondering when to bd our one attempt though..
Last month we bd on the first but the next one was way darker.

Me too! We are cycle buddies! I'm 9dpo, and I've had a short LP since my period came back from having my DS3. I took Clomid this cycle and it looks like it has lengthened my LP! If AF doesn't come this weekend, I'm going to test on Monday. I have a busy weekend, and I won't have much time to myself to pee on a stick!

I'm hoping af starts for me soon. Yesterday was my last dose of progesterone, so I'm thinking she'll probably show up tomorrow which is horrible timing! I have tons of stuff to do tomorrow. We're in the process of selling our house and buying a new one. Tomorrow, we have the appraisal on our house, a pest inspection on our house, and then the full house inspection on the house we're buying. It's going to be a crazy long day and it really sucks that it's going to be the first day of af. I anticipate it being a horribly heavy period. My uterus feels enormous! Does anyone know if progesterone makes you retain water? I've noticed that my legs are super puffy the last 3-4 days. I keep thinking it's because I'm dehydrated, but it just seems to keep getting worse despite my increased water intake.

Estrogen causes water retention- progesterone reduces it. My guess is the estrogen levels are rising in your body due to AF approaching and that is what is causing it.

So happy for all the ladies who have moved or are moving. It is tough, but hopefully worth it and you are moving up to something better. We bought ours almost a year ago and love it. It is a big house because we were planning on filling it with children, but my uterus and ovaries must not agree with the plan.
I am CD 22 and still no +OPK. This means after three cycles on Metformin where my cycle got shorter, now they are getting longer again. Could the Metformin not be working anymore? I regret taking this month off clomid. I only did it to wait for blood and ultrasound test but then both came back pretty normal, just the expected cysts on my ovaries. I HATE LONG CYCLES! Even if I got a positive today (which I doubt I will), it would put me at about a 38 day cycle because I have long LPs too. Gggggrrrr... no EWCM, no ovulation cramps, no nothing

I had short lp issues as well, in July my lp was only 7 days. With atomic help and advice from lots of knowledgeable ladies on this site I made changes and got pregnant the next cycle. For me I had to introduce 4-6 eggs per week, daily diary and one portion of red meat per week. I also had to make sure I was at the upper end of the calories and fat and protein levels of the le diet. I think breast feeding and cardio plus very low calorie intake ( under the minimum for le) was too much for my body. I also did not realise that certain vegetables are free and not included in your totals so I was well under. I had to make lots of changes that were more blue friendly but I was not going to get pregnant any other way. As atomic would say not getting pregnant, you don't have any chance of desired gender. If I could do it over again, I would stick to the upper limits of the diet due to cardio and breast feeding, if I had done this my cycles may not have gone wacky and I would not have to repair the damage done by making more blue friendly choices. I actually found the short lp the most frustrating part of trying to conceive, I felt like I was doing everything but not even getting a chance to get pregnant. Good luck everyone, fingers and toes crossed for you all! X

It's CD2 for me. Temping hasn't cooperated these last couple of days. I had to pee (tmi?) close to my 5:30 am temp taking time, so I just forgot about it. Hoping to start tomorrow and see what happens the rest of this month. I did begin maca root this cycle because my temps seemed so low last month.
In times past it has helped me balance out my hormones (and emotions) pretty quickly and temps were high, then I became pregnant.
Any other maca users?

Yes, I have been having eggs, meat & the full fat dairy & iron supplement for the past 2 cycles but that hasnt helped yet (no change at all yet). I am going to add in fish once a week & toast for breakfast in case the fasting between 6pm-11am is just too much for my body. Also adding in more fruit & veg. Hubby stopped the peppermint tea 2 months ago & he will stop OLE now too. No J&D, no lube. Im already a couch potato so I cant change that! We have also had a long winter here & very little sun - so I am making a conscious effort to get outside & improve my vitamin d levels. My cycles are very regular at 28-29 days its just the short luteal phase that is our biggest issue at the moment. Thanks for your story - very helpful!

Maca & Fertility
As infertility is becoming an increasing issue facing both women and men, it’s no wonder why so many people today are turning to natural alternatives for improving fertility. So far, research has only examined maca root’s impact on fertility in animals, with much of the research showing promising results. Studies support maca’s traditional use as a fertility enhancer, especially for females, noting its ability to increase serum luteinizing hormone in the pituitary gland. This hormone is associated with fertility, among other factors in the body.
Maca root has been used extensively as a hormone balancer, and research shows that its high nutrient density and phytochemical content may be the underlying contributors to this effect. Researchers evaluating the herb for weight loss observed that women taking a maca root supplement enjoyed a reduction in many of the most common menopause symptoms, such as hot flashes, sleep disruptions, night sweats, and depression. A similar study found women taking maca root enjoyed a significant relief from symptoms associated with menopause.

Does anyone not temp and not do OPKs? I think I am going to stop wasting my OPKs this month as I am cd23 and last two days are so light almost no second line. At least a week ago there was a second line, but no where near positive. I think I missed my surge and also ovulation or I didn't ovulate at all. I have been doing e3-4days BD so maybe I am covered but I doubt it. Very bummed.

Girliecat doing e3-4 days gives you an excellent chance if you've already oed. What are you expecting your cycle length to be? Do you monitor cm or cp at all? These are other things that can sometimes help tell if you've oed or not when not temping.

I don't do CP (have no idea how). I do track CM and had several very "wet" days the week after AF but nothing thick or EW. I had bloating but no intense cramping like I am used to. Normally O pains last several days, but nothing like that yet. I was excepting O from cd19-22. I tested starting cd12, but did miss testing on cd14 due to a work meeting and an ops with my cup of pee (funny story but embarrassing). Most I can assume is maybe cd14 would have been my positive but that would be earlier than I ever had a positive or ovulation before. I will just keep watching my CM, keep BD e3-4 and wait for AF. Every cycle has been different since I stopped Birth control (Feb first month off) so have no idea what to think anymore.

Gl robin! Its really hard to decide about the extra attempt. On one hand if you o today then the egg will either be fertilised or not with last nights bd. But if you o later then tonight then it makes 2 attempts. Decisions decisions..... if your are ready to just up your chances of a bfp and will be ok with an extra attempt then I'd go for it just to cover the bases. Otherwise a 1-o to 2-o attempt is really great timing.

Girliecat doing e3d will keep you covered nicely. I initially had no idea about cp or texture either lol. I googled about it and it took a few cycles but I was eventually able to tell the difference in height and texture quite easily. I haven't been doing it during my monitoring waiting cycles as I wanted to give my cervix a break from poking and prodding lol sounds terrible hahaha!
That's also the problem with o pains - I used to notice them quite easily some cycles but other cycles barely felt a thing :( wish we all had our own u/s machines so we could know for sure 😂
I'd do what you said and just jeep monitoring cm and if you notice it changing maybe start using opks again in case its delayed? Either way I hope things become alot clearer for you over the next fews days.

My oldest had some kidney problems that led to recurrent UTIs. They always gave us this special bag that taped around his genitals to catch it. Although there were a few times he had to be cath'd, and honestly that wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.

Thank you ladies for the support xxoo!!!!
Xxforhubby I hope your ds3 is feeling better. It's horrible when they get a cold so young especially if they are still trying to breath only through the nose. What a great idea sleeping with him upright on the recliner, must have relieved some of the pressure in his head?
Foxtrotmama I'd actually asked about the bags when I rung the hospital asking how the hell I was supposed to 'catch' his urine lol. I'd also read about sponges that could be used in nappies but the hospital said no lol, had to be a catch to ensure no contamination and the bags are only used in pediatric hospitals.... That must have been awful for both your oldest and you (kidney issues) Uti's are just awful :( hope it all sorted now

AF showed up today. Now it is on to next cycle. I am feeling indifferent. After this many months TTC'ing I start to believe that it is not meant to be and I am mentally preparing myself to let go on my dream about a forth. In many ways it would be more sound to stop TTC and stay happy with my family as it is. But I am not ready for this yet. So I might continue TTC until I turn 42 in January.

Starting my progesterone supplements today and will have my levels checked on the 14th and will do a blood HCG test on 10/24. I will probably test with IC's strips a few times this week just to see what the lines look like.

Thank you!! So I got faint-faint lines at 8dpo on wondfos, they continued until I got a great line yesterday morning fmu (10dpo). We went on mini-vacay and picked up more on the way down. So, the FRER was actually that night (its a bit darker IRL) and the digi was 11dpo fmu.

I have had excruciating pain last night, the same as when my corpus luteum burst.
Thought I'd do a test anyway, and am I mad or is there a faint line?
I am guessing that the line will fade now, as there won't be any progesterone to sustain a pregnancy if the corpus luteum has burst.

Thank you ladies.
I shall try and stay positive
I am going to wait a couple of days and test with a FRER but I'm not sure how sensitive they are.
The test strip is a one step 10mIU/ml so might show before the FRER
What do you think ?
This is what the website that I got them from says
These strip tests are at a sensitivity of 10miu and work to an accuracy level of 99%. They can be used up to 6 days earlier than a standard pregnancy test kit.
They are 2.5mm wide but are the same quality (just thinner) as our best selling NHS tests that are wider (3.5mm).
Pbn3
October 10th, 2016, 06:01 AM
Mrssparkles I've read that frers can pick up levels as low as 6.5mui. They are by far the most accurate early detection hpts that I know of that are on the market.

I can see the line :)
If you get that on a cheapie then a frer should show a line. I'm not sure why you are worried about the copus luteum busting as sometimes I think you can get a cyst that busts around the same time but it will still produce progesterone.
If you are worried then once you get a stronger bfp you could get your hcg and progesterone tested. With this pregnancy my progesterone was only 1.9 on 16dpo and then 2.9 on 18dpo. I was put on progesterone for the first trimester but I think my body really didn't think I was pregnant at first as I got my normal AF.

It's only as this happened before, and it was the same pain.
The nurse said that it was the CL bursting, and I think she said baby needs it for 10 weeks ?
If I get a BFP Wednesday i will refer myself to the EPU, they said I can self refer from 6 weeks as I had an ectopic, but may ask if progesterone is an option. Thanks for the tip !
I just did another cheapie Pbn3, and it was a faint line again.

Robin I think Fertility Friend didn't give you cross hairs for ovulation because you don't have enough days of data before your ovulation to establish a coverline temp. You could change the ovulation detection method to see if that helps or maybe check the box to disregard the high temp on the 4th since that will effect detecting ovulation. Do you take your temps orally? Temping that way is not the most accurate and could be the reason for your differing temps pre O.

Temping vaginally will give you the most accurate results. Your temp should be taken after at least a 3 hour stretch of sleeping and before leaving bed about the same time everyday to get good results. I was weirded out at first about temping vaginally but really it is do big deal; I have been doing it close to 2 years now.

Thank you ladies! I know I've had a slow cooker before with my DS2 (BFP at 21 DPO), but I am not hopeful this time around.
I'm going to try Clomid 100mg from days 2-6 this next cycle. This will probably be my last cycle, since I'm not sure if my DH will make an appointment for a vasectomy or not.
I think we are both conflicted. I've lost all my baby weight from DS3, and I miss going to the gym, lifting weights, and doing my beachbody workouts. I think of being able to go back to work soon, do some things to our new house we would like to do, and take some pretty awesome vacations starting next summer.
But then there is this nagging feeling I have...my DH feels it too. He had a dream a few nights ago- he heard a pitter patter of feet that didn't sound familiar in the middle of the night that stopped at our bedroom door. It was cracked, and he could see a child standing, looking in. He said, "Come on in", and he patted the bed. The child didn't come. He got up, and a little girl with brown, curly hair like mine was standing there in a night gown. She asked, "Are you sure"? My DH picked her up and brought her to bed with us. He said it felt so real, but he isn't sure.
I think I'll give it another go, but I'm not sure after that. If my DH doesn't get a vasectomy in December, I don't think he will be able to until June with his work schedule. I'm also starting to think and believe that it probably won't happen for us. I can be happy with the way things are. My DS3 is definitely "my baby" and is super snuggly. It's a mixed bag of emotions thinking I'm actually done, but I'm mostly ok. I'm definitely becoming more and more ok with it. I wasn't even sad upon getting a BFN, but I wasn't happy or relieved either. Just, sigh...

I know exactly what you mean, xxforhubby! DH and I have both decided that if I have another miscarriage, we are done trying and he'll get a vasectomy. It is so emotionally difficult for both of us when I have a miscarriage. As much as I want another baby, I just can't go on having miscarriages. DH feels the same way. He told me the other night that he wishes he could see into the future to know if it's worth it to keep trying.
At this point, I'm not really even swaying anymore. I'm just trying to get and then stay pregnant. Everything I'm doing is for health reasons, not necessarily to get a DD. We think about the future too and how in 8-10 years all of our kids will be moved out if we stop ttc now. It's definitely appealing. We'd like to spend some time being a couple, just the two of us. It is so difficult to decide whether to keep ttc or not. I also picture the face of my DD and that is the only thing that has kept me trying this long.
I hope you'll both be at peace with whatever you decide to do. :hug2:

Thank you so much! It is so hard to know what to do, isn't it? I think what keeps me going is down to 3 things: 1. I don't want to regret not having tried. 2. If we had 3 girls, we would try EVERYTHING for a boy for me. 3. Everything I've done for the past 8mo has led me here. The diet (mainly no snacking, and no red meat at this point) and the cardio (I'm beginning to not like it anymore).
I will say, if next cycle ends with a BFN, I'm so going back to grazing, starting T25, and starting my gym membership back up! With me being back to my pre-pregnancy weight (lowest ever!), it will be time to tone back up and put some muscle back on!!

Hi everyone! I'm still around...we are doing attempts every 4 days this month, and other than that, not much of a sway. I'm just doing a mostly vegetarian diet, which has completely gone out the window the last couple of days because of Thanksgiving (it's today here in Canada). We had our first attempt at CD13, and we'll have our second attempt on CD17. I think I probably ovulated yesterday. I'm very thin now, and used to going for long periods without eating, so those things may help. I'm also coming off a cycle with an early miscarriage, which I understand may sway pink.
I've been spending lots of time with my one year old niece, who has recently moved in down the street, and it's been very healing for me to have an adorable little girl in my life. When I had my miscarriage recently, I discovered that I didn't really care about the sex of the baby as much as I previously thought. I'm trusting that things will work out as they should, and I feel much more at peace about everything.
Fingers crossed for you, XX and everyone waiting!

Hi serenity.
I feel the exact same! Although this is technically this is the first month of attempting I bailed on one attempted. I've done a total of 3 times now. Cd11 , CD14 and CD15 to cover all my bases. I think I ovulate day 14 from OPKS.
I ate turkey today and yesterday due to thanksgiving and it was wonderful!
I've gone vegetarian for past 3 months.
I just want to be pregnant now as well. Obviously love a girl.. but trust in God's decision for our family!

OPK question- does anyone keep testing with OPK during the 2WW after you know you ovulated? What do they look like? Wondering if you always get a light second line anytime of the cycle.
Still no +OPK, but did have second lighter purple line for 6 days, then almost no second line for 2 days but now the purple line is back (not positive, just darker than the two super light days) and I am cramping like crazy. I am super confused if I ovulated early (and pains are cysts) or if I still haven't ovulated (and pains are O coming). Impossible to count dpo when you don't know O day. :-( Not even sure if I am in the 2WW or not. Today is cd26. This cycle really sucked.

FX for you serenity! It seems like you have a lot going for your sway still. :)
GirlieCat, it could be that you geared up to O and then didn't for some reason. However, I believe you can have faint lines after ovulation. I think Pbn and xxforhubby know more about that than I do. Hopefully they'll chime in.
I called my RE's office today and they said to do the same thing as last cycle. They called in another prescription for progesterone. Hopefully I'll ovulate early again this cycle. I'm keeping up the exercise and am back with the diet (I totally fell off the wagon the last 3 weeks, lmao!). I need to diet anyway to lose weight. My RE said any weight loss will only help me, so I'm sticking with everything. I'm planning on doing SMEP again and also will be adding guaifenesin (starting cd8 until 3dpo), female O, and laying flat for at least 30 mins after dtd per atomic's suggestions. I'm ready to just be pregnant regardless of gender. I'm crossing everything that this is an awesome cycle for everyone!! :cheerteam:

Girliecat you can still get lines on opks on and off during the 2ww. I used to see an increasing to pretty dark (but not pos) line in lead up to af. This is also why using an opk as a hpt isn't accurate (for any poas addicts like me 😂 that are thinking of doing this) You will get a pos hpt before a pos opk if pregnant :)
I'd keep testing in case you haven't oed. Is it o cramps you're experiencing?

Thanks moma and Pbn3. I am really leaning towards that I might have O'd about 10 days ago but I am going to just keep testing with OPKs in case and still doing e3-4d. I am so tired of DTD though.
Moma, I was going to do progesterone this cycle too but didn't get to without knowing O. If it is not my month, I am doing clomid and progesterone next time. I think your plan for next cycle sounds great. FX.

I am so frustrated!
Have been having pink spotting for last few days, this morning (12dpo) had some bleeding so I thought, OK this is AF is here, cd1 again for me!
However since then, it's returned to tiny amount of brown spotting again.
My period was super light last month so I feel like my body is going crazy now! Tested and got a bfn also (just in case) I definitely did ovulate this month, so seem to just have a super thin lining.
Got an appointment through for the fertility clinic for 8th Nov, so will have one full cycle before then to given it my all.
Does anybody have any recommendations on how to thicken womb lining?

Hi Jennypenny,
I've heard some women have used Royal Jelly:*A study done in Japan and published in 2007 shows thatRoyal Jelly has the propensity to mimic human estrogen, which may help those that suffer from low estrogen levels. Royal Jelly consumption is for women with weak uterine muscles or thin uterine lining.

OMG Ladies- I am still testing with OPKs since I never got a positive and then today at 6:00pm I got a very dark LH test. Pbn3, you said something the other day about ladies using OPKs instead of HCG test because you often get positives OPK when you are pregnant so for fun I used the same 6pm urine sample with a cheap pregnancy test just to see and got two lines (twice).
At first I said, oh well it is really light (thinking OPK), then freaked out when my brain switched on that any line is positive. I am shaking I am so scared, nervous, excited.
Can an LH serge give you a false HCG test?
OMG, OMG, OMG!!!!!!! Calm down.....

Oh my gosh, you really think so? The LH isn't giving me a false positive on the HCG? I mean this was 6pm urine too and a cheapy pregnancy test. Definitely using the more expensive Preg test tomorrow with FMU.
Pbn3- I want to jump through the internet and kiss you right now. If you had not said that comment about positive OPKs and HCG I would have never tested the HCG for fun.
My heart is racing a million miles a minute. I am trying to calm down in case it is a false positive. And I also know if it is true that so many ladies have had chemicals and early MC that this is just too early to get this excited, but this is my first positive pregnancy test my whole life (all 35 years of it) so it kinda took me off guard.

Jenny, my AF has been only a day or two the last 8.5 months off birth control. Last month was shortest ever and I had actual blood flow for no more than 12 hours and from first spotting to done and clean was hardly 24 hours. I told my doctor this time and time again and she didn't seem to think it was any big deal (I disagreed). I hope your doc can give you better answers or direction.

GirlieCat, one is older than me and the other is younger. The older one has had infertility problems in the past when she ttc her dd1 and dd2. Then the flood gates opened and she had 3 more kids without any problems. She's turning 40 in a few days. She's giving in one last try to get dc6. My other sister is younger (31) and gay, so she is using donor sperm.
I didn't ever have a problem ttc before I had my tubes tied. Since they've been reversed, it's been a different story. If I could go back in time, I never would have had them tied. I would have had DH get his tied. He's a big baby and was afraid of the pain, so I had a major surgery rather than his 5 min one. I'm a little bitter if you didn't notice. Lol! I don't think we'd be having anywhere near the problems ttc that we're having now if we had reversed a vasectomy but you can't change the past.
Pbn, I'm also concerned about getting pregnant at the same time as them and then miscarrying but them carrying to full term. It honestly has me considering skipping this cycle since I know they'll both be trying. :(
Pbn3
October 12th, 2016, 07:04 AM
Definately don't skip this cycle momamia!! You will always wonder if you do if this might've been 'the' one? Try and put your sisters' ttc efforts out of your mind as hard as it will be as they will probably be ringing all the time lol :)
And you have to try this cycle because its my first cycle back lol!!! I have no illusions of getting a bfp first cycle back trying 😂 but you just never know, stranger things have happened and maybe the universe will decide its our turn after all xxoo

True Pbn. I would always wonder. Plus I'm not sure how long DH will want to continue. I'm not thinking he's going to be too keen after we skip a cycle and he sees how much less stressed we both are. Lol! I'm trying to be more laid back about it but we just don't normal dtd that often anymore. I have to add attempts which I am generally not too excited about (iykwim) and he hates it when we dtd out of necessity rather than having a fun element to it.

Congratulations to you ladies with BFP. How exciting!!
I am currently DPO6 according to my calculations and I feel pregnant. I have no idea what's going on. I don't even think it's possible to "feel" pregnant yet! I have massive cramping on my lower right side (all day yesterday) that I only get when pregnant. I'm having vivid dreams... again only while pregnant... and my breasts are sore.
I sure hope it's not my body playing tricks.
When do you guys test? Every other pregnancy I tested 5 days before expected period and got a solid 2 lines. That puts my testing day to next Monday..

Hope you feel well and have a happy and healthy time!
Momamia, l don't have any sisters regretfully but bet it's not simple, the situation you described but l would not skip this cycle, you just never know!
Robin my fingers are crossed for you!! I'm 3dpo but it's hard here to get good hpts before af is supposed to show since most just do a blood hcg test because they are free. I will continue to search.. Or use the opks l have left :)
Last month my breasts were sore, had creamy cm, nausea etc and l was sure l had a bfp, even thought my pre af spotting was implantation spotting... This month our attempt was better timed, but my breasts don't hurt (and they always do during my tww!) and lve dried up since ovulation.. BUT on the other hand my ds yesterday told me suddenly out of the blue he knows l have a dd in my belly and he definitely does not know we are trying! I really believe in kids senses.. Hope his are heightened!

Thank you everyone !
I just got back from the hospital, they called today to make an appointment for next week.
Told them I was pregnant and they wanted me in today.
Seems that they have two tests for me saying I am low in antithrombin iii - I asked them if it was accurate as last time it was a mix up of results at my GP.
They got me to come in and do another test and yup...I am low.
So now I am on 40mg of Clexane twice a day - shots in the stomach.
They say this could help reduce the risk of another MC and of a DVT, sadly we didn't have time to wait until 6 weeks to make sure baby is not ectopic (which they like to do).
Feel fine after my first shot, just nervous as I know it can cause bleeding .

FX for you MrsSparkles!! :) I'm sure everything will be fine.
My younger sister's IUI just got canceled for this month. Although she got an LH surge, her dominant follicle was only 10.5mm and her lining was only 7mm. I think she has pcos but they haven't come out and told her that. Now I'm going to feel like a jerk if I get pregnant this cycle. Dang it. Why do they have to tell me things? I wish they'd just keep their ttc stuff to themselves.

Momamia- you have no reason to feel like a jerk or guilty or anything. Think how cool it will be if you do all get pregnant around the same time and the babies always have cousins their age. I know that is easy to say but I also know how my relationship is with my 4 sisters and 2 of them are my best friends and I would be so happy to be doing this together, the other two I am not as close with and 1 of those two I would not want to share this journey with so thankfully she is older than me and done having kids. It is natural to feel all sorts of emotions especially when you just want so badly to be pregnant yourself with your much wanted daughter. I really really hope this is your cycle moma. I want this for you so badly.
Sparkles, glad they at least caught it early and hoping it helps. So excited to be DD buddies.
AFM- Did another internet cheapie and FRER with FMU and both were positive so I think it is sinking in now that this might actually be real. I am still in shock since I was so confused by my cycle this month and if O was early and I missed it or late and hadn't happen yet (I know now it was early)
What is the window of time that I need to be worried that this could just be a chemical? Should I be getting blood HCG levels checked at some point or is that only for ladies going through true infertility treatments?
Thank you to everyone for the congratulations and support. I don't know what I would do without this group. You are all so amazing.

Thank you so much MrsSparkles and GirlieCat! :) I really appreciate everything you both said. I'm going to attempt this cycle and hope things work out for me. I know that I can't control how they feel and I know they definitely wouldn't skip a cycle for me (I actually them to skip the cycle they'd be due in August since that's the birth month of my DS3 who passed away, and they both said no), so I'm going to go for it. I'm feeling super bloated, so I'm thinking I'm going to ovulate early again this cycle. I think I'm going to start opk testing tonight.
GirlieCat, typically with a chemical, your test line doesn't get as dark as yours already is. So, I don't think it'll be a problem. I think you're generally out of the water for a chemical a few days to a week after your period would have been due. Since you ovulated early, I would count out 4 weeks from the start of your last period and call that when you should start your next period. That's what a doctors office would do. You should also call your OB and let them know you just had a positive pregnancy test. They'll base everything off of your LMP and will have you come in based on that. I would tell them that you have irregular cycles, so you are not sure when you ovulated or how far along you really are. That will sometimes make them get you in a little sooner. In the past, my OB's never gave me my hcg test results, so if you want to know make sure you ask. They'll most likely have you go in for an early dating ultrasound too. I'm so excited for you! :)

October 12th, 2016, 09:43 PM
I think when talking about chemical pregnancies it's important to recognize them for what they are- very early losses. When we say CP there can be a kind of disconnect where we feel like they weren't "real" pregnancies. Not that that has any bearing on your question, GirlieCat. :)

AFM: I was starting to freak out because my temp didn't jump until a day or 2 later than normal but it finally jumped yesterday morning. It was just very strange since I had a trigger shot on Friday evening. I have been testing out my trigger this cycle, I did IC tests on Tuesday and Wednesday and plan to test again tomorrow morning. Really thought the lines would be darker than what they are, but hopefully at some point I will see it darken for a true BFP.

I had some cramping yesterday and this morning. I do feel ick, and I have been known, on occasion, to feel this way right before AF shows up.
I'll test again tomorrow, maybe? Could my temp dip yesterday be implantation? It seems late for that, right? I may wait and test Monday morning in case I did have a temp dip. Ugh. I'm glad for a long LP, but this is getting a bit ridiculous! Thanks. Clomid [emoji849]!

So I am really confused now. I tested BFN at 9 DPO and AF arrived full force some days later than usual. I was bleeding full force for 1,5 days and spotting for several days after. On Wednesday night I was out with some colleagues having dinner and wine. After getting to bed I started vomiting really bad and feeling so sick. Next day I vomited the hole day, could not eat anything because of sickness and nausea. Thougt I had caught an aggresive gastroenteritis. This morning I took a pregnancy test (cheap Wondfo FMU) just to make sure this is not a BFP, and suddenly a second line appeared - not as dark as the test line but definately a very visible line. I am 15 DPO (thought I was CD6). Is it possible to get a BFP this late and after having had AF bleeding full force? I don't hope it is another MC/missed abortion like I had in July. I have not been feeling any symptoms except yesterday where I got sick of 4 glasses of red wine. Eck.

Yes it is possible dreamsister. The most recent example I can think of is Purple who had a normal period but luckily did a hpt prior to starting clomid and got a bfp. She did this because someone else had a normal period or bleeding and started taking clomid or femara and then found out there was hcg in their system via routine fertility bw? (Tfahn I'm so sorry for bringing this up as I have a feeling it *may have been you?)
Aside from that, congratulations!!! I have everything crossed that it all works out! While its never good to see bleeding its not necessarily all bad. Purple is going great still and into her second trimester I believe 😀
I would see your gp for bw asap though for peace of mind and keep testing to see progression.

With my twins (we lost one at week 11 but that's irrelevant regrading this topic) hcg was high from the get go I still only managed to get a bfp at cd 15 - I think hpts in my country plain suck and don't pick up low levels of hcg like the frer and clearblue everyone keeps mentioning.. but anyway bfps can come fairly "late".
And regarding the bleeding - just this morning I saw a bfp chart in my Kindara app feed of some lady who had whole week of heavy bleeding during her implantation that she posted after she had a healthy birth! She also mentioned she didn't have symptoms and found almost a month after since she was sure it was her menstruation bleeding. It happens sometimes during the 1st trimester.
Anyway.. I think a congratulations is in order!:cheerteam:
A bfp is a bfp and symptoms vary widely not only between women but between pregnancies.
Hope its a good, healthy little one!!

Momamia, did AF ever arrive after you stopped progesterone? Can't recall any updates on that.
Yes, af arrived. I'm cd8 today.
Congrats Dreamsister!! Just so you know, I think purple had to start progesterone with her pregnancy, so you may want to ask your doctor to test that for you. FX for you! I know how scary it is to worry about a miscarriage. I hope everything goes perfectly for you. :)

Congratulations Dreamsister! I can understand your fear and worry. Hope your doctor's visit brings good news. I have been following Purple too so I am glad the other ladies already told you how similar her situation was and her pregnancy is going well.
Moma-great to hear you are so far along in your cycle already. FX.

Girlie cat I am so happy for you that I am crying. I hope so much for a happy and healthy pregnancy for you and this is your dream little girl.
XX I saw your temp dip and was sure AF was coming for you too then it seemed to spike and dip just a bit again.. whenever someone thinks they are out I temember all too well your story of a very late BFP and realize until AF is here you are still IN! Hoping for good news for you soon in a few days.

Congrats Dreamsister! You are the same age as me, so I'm hoping I can get a bfp too.

Hi ladies,
On CD7 & CD8 I had slight, but noticeable cramping and two brown spots when I wiped. I thought I was seeing things, because there was also a slight amount on thin CM present both times. Well, today is CD9 and I had a ton of EWCM. I was able to stretch it at least 6 inches (tmi...sorry). My temp was still low this morning so I don't think I ovulated. If I did CD9 is early for me; days 10-15 are my average.

Mv I have had ewcm early in my cycle. Usually between 3-5 prior to o? Well the last two cycles anyway. Are you using opks or doing a e3-4 bd pattern? Sounds like o should be on its way 😀 hopefully within a few days!!

Thanks 😊 for the quick reply Pbn3. I'm not using opks just temping and checking my CM. We're BDing every other day until I confirm O.
I hope so too! Thanks again. How's your cycle treating you?
