Swaying pink in Fall?

I am planning to TTC early November. How many people are waiting until the months are on your side for pink?

I wouldn't mind waiting for pink-friendly months except I want baby #3 and baby #4 to be 2 years apart in school so I need to get pregnant before the end of the year if that's going to happen.

I wouldn't worry about pink friendly months. Other sway factors like diet and exercise are more important. I don't think the month conceived makes much if any difference.

I'm hoping to attempt late November. I will have been on the diet about 8 weeks by then (just started). This is all assuming I start ovulating again by then since I'm breastfeeding and still haven't gotten a period. I thought about waiting until the "girl friendly" months but I really wasn't able to see enough evidence to convince me to wait. Although if I don't start ovulating I'll be waiting no matter what!

Starting next month too, but not because of 'pink friendly months'. I can't say I've even heard of such a thing lol. We have been ttc #3 for some time now and I just had hysteroscopy surgery to remove a tissue growth and polyp. We are clear to start trying again after this cycle, so that cycle will begin the end of this month and I'll ovulate in November :)

I got my daughter in November and 2 boys in the girl months.

It's just one little thing that may help the teensiest bit but nothing compared to swaying itself. I only bring it up because some of the other sites use mumbojumbo science-ish talk to tell people to TTC in months that may actually be WORSE and so I don't like people going off of those months, if you gotta go by months, I'd rather it was the months that are supported by science and not baloney :)

Which months are girl months anyway? Does it change for the southern hemisphere?

We consider March-May to be pink-friendly months for N. Hemi and there is probably a benefit even in Jan/Feb and possibly June depending on the climate where you live. For boys it's reversed with the peak in Sept-Nov but possibly late July/Aug thru early December depending on climate. Southern Hemi this is reversed.

The old school sway sites had winter as good for boys and summer good for girls. Not true

New to this site as a member although I have been reading up on it for years! I have been swaying for a girl for the last 2 months this is our 3rd cycle TTC. We have 3 precious boys and are dying to give them a little sister to complete our family. I'm praying this is our month because I am tired of swaying already but do not want to give up. Which is what I did with our 3rd son. I just wasn't patient enough. But now that he is here I know that he was meant to be ours. I can see him being the best little buddy to a girl though... I like that atomic says this is her lucky girl month!! Send me all the November pink vibes you have please��

Yay hope you catch the golden egg! My oldest's bday is August 2nd, mine is the 4th and our anniversary is the 8th! If we conceived this cycle and I'm praying we did, we would have an edd of August 1st lol! Although I would have a repeat csection, so baby would be born the end of July. Hope we all get to stick around for the month of August!!

I just replied to your other post :-) .. My eldest boy is also Aug the 25th but I would be having a c section also end of July .. we can keep each other updated! Get us through the 2ww 😃

Amelia.. I'm with you! We are determined to have a summer baby. So if this month or early next month doesn't work... I'm not sure what I'll do. Perhaps stop until next summer even. This morning at dpo 8 my temp dropped and my heart dropped with it. This month we even attempted 5 times to up our chances. I've basically dropped everything about my sway with the exception of diet bc of crazy things it's been doing to my cycles and body. I almost can't handle anymore bfn. This whole journey is a Rollercoaster but when it doesn't happen month after month . ... it becomes very discouraging!

Well I started the swaying journey about a month and a half ago and started dieting right away along with starting metformin for my pcos. Things were going well for the first couple weeks and then we had a house fire. Long story short, it has been chaos since, so my diet sort of suffered. I still stuck with no snacking and I did still lose 6 lbs. For our attempt atomic said to abstain for 7-10 days and have one attempt and first +opk. So that's what we've done, hope it was enough. We really want a girl, but yet since we've been trying to get #3 for two years now we just want to be pregnant and have a healthy sticky pregnancy no matter the sex. We just thought why not at least try for a girl and if it happens it happens and if not then that's ok too. I do not have my heart set on having a girl, I know going in to this it's not 100% and I feel like after having 2 living boys and 1 angel boy we are just destined to have boys lol.

YAY!!! We had our attempt last night :hug2: I have my fingers crossed for us all this month! Based on my LMP I would be due August 1st. I have had all my babies early. My last 2 were 2 weeks early. so I would probably have a July baby this time if we were successful. This was also our 3rd attempt at TTC pink! PRAYING PRAYING PRAYING <3

Seems like our situations are very similar! I have 3 boys as well. Love them more than life itself but I Know I will always wonder what its like to have that mother daughter relationship. I would always wonder how the boys would be with a sister... and my husband with a daughter as well. Praying we can make it happen this one last time. If we dont fall pregnant before xmas I am taking Jan-Feb off to avoid having 2 October babies. I like that all my boys bdays are spread apart.

Wow ladies allot of us in this together and similar situations ...Mcebular that's the same with me I would just love to experience what it would be like to have a daughter and the thoughts of going through life and not having that relationship would be hard. I have no sisters aswell so it would really be extra special, I have a great relationship with my mum so that helps. Oh I too would also love to see my husband with a little girl Would melt my heard!!!This journey sure is a rollercoaster, at least we're all in it together!! This 2ww is torture tho, every little twinge or cramp or feeling and I'm thinking maybe I'm pregnant, even started taking a pre-natal today in case :-) ... Oh and I'm eating all round me cause I can!!! 😃
