Period But Temps Above Coverline

This cycle has frustrated me in every way possible. I finally got what I thought was AF two days ago (had no reason to doubt it wasn't... heavy bleeding, cramping, the whole works) but my temps are still above the coverline. This never happens, especially not a few days into AF. Has anyone else ever had this happen?

have you heard of a breakthrough bleed? that's when your HCG isn't quite high enough to supress AF, so you get a bleed at the time when AF would have arrived. Many women get this and are still pregnant... have you done a HPT?

I have not done an HPT since it was probably 10-11 dpo and that was negative. But still really early I realize. Once I started spotting and got "AF" I just gave up hope. But this is my 3rd morning of AF and still higher temps... I think I'll test this afternoon just to put my mind at ease. I've never had this with my other three girls. My other thought is that I'm miscarrying or having a chemical pregnancy??? Would my temps stay high if that was the case? I just need to do a test. Thanks for the feedback rainbowflower.

Hi I just wanted to tell you that I had a period after I was pregnant with son number 2 and was negative on the urine tests and I had confirmation with a blood test

Hi Ladies,
I tested yesterday afternoon and it was negative. Then this morning my temps finally dropped. Something weird was going on with me... I should've taken a test sooner. I have a feeling I was miscarrying because that was not a typical period for me and I was 90% sure I was pregnant. I've been pregnant 4 times so I know what my body does. Oh well. Not meant to be. God has a plan for me and this wasn't my month. On to the next cycle. Thanks everyone!
