Hi,
I recently began my pink sway LE diet (to begin TTC in January!) and have been testing urine for OPK just so I'm aware on actually ov date- not been concerned about fertility as I have 3yo ds who was conceived on first attempt.

I'm at day 20 with no positive yet! I've always had regular cycles, no birth control.
I did have one random cycle last month which lasted 14 days (I am 33 and this has never happened in my life!).

Any advice welcome!

What time of day are you testing with your opk? Also what brand is it? Some people find the internet cheapies do not always get darker than the test line. Also are you drinking lots in the few hours before you test as this can dilute the sample. Also do you check your cm too? This might help to indicate when you are fertile and roughly when you might expect to get a positive opk.

One step- from
Amazon. I've been testing about 6pm- although I found out yesterday you have to read the test strip after 10 mins! (I have not been doing this!). I usually use the MYDays app to track AF and my cm usually fits in with fertile days- so I just started testing to be sure of ov day. However the lack of a result makes me nervous. Do you think it's worth buying clear blue (or whatever the better ones are)?

If you are not in any hurry I know the clear blue ones are a bit expensive so you might want to try the ones you have again next cycle but make sure you check the test after 10 mins and also make sure you don't drink too much in the few hours before you test. If you still don't get a positive next month you could then look at getting some of the clear blue ones. You could also try testing twice a day on the days you get your fertile looking cm just in case you are missing your surge. Hope this helps and good luck

Can you tell me more about last month's cycle??

I suspect you probably just missed the positive this month. Do you ever get any reliable symptoms with ovulation?? (like libido, CM, O pain?)

Many people have good results with Wondfo brand too.

I always have EWCM at Ov and notice changes with CM.
cycles are always regular although have noticed them shortening 26/27 days. The 15 day was unusual and coincided with my stepping up exercise - intense cardio most days- google said this could be a reason? Or ov bleeding? However this lasted 5 days so I assumed af. It was just very unusual for me- if it repeats I will visit GP.

Yes that can cause the occasional anovulatory cycle - are you eating enough???

Then I suspect it's going to fix itself without worrying about it!!
