Just found out my thyroid level is 3.5 and should be at less than 2.5 to achieve and maintain a healthy pregnancy. RE is putting me on synthroid today for 3 weeks. Anyone else have success on this medication.

Yes my number was at a 3. Didn't know I was pregnant, but doctor put me on synthroid. Found out at 8 weeks I was pregnant, have been getting my levels checked regularly. My levels have been good. (.79, .94). They will continue to check the levels through the rest of my pregnancy and up the dosage if necessary. I know a lot of women are out on synthroid for pregnancy and their thyroid levels go back to normal once they deliver. Not sure if that is the case for me or if I will need to continue taking it after. The only negative I've had with taking it is not being able to eat for an hour after which was rough first trimester with morning sickness

Oh that's actually really good news fefe - I have seen LOTS of people with RPL having successful pregnancies after Synthroid.

Thanks atomic! Just did a repeat HSG with valium and tubes are still closed maybe due to scar tissue since surgery last year. My fibroid was at the top near my tube entrances. They are going to compare pics from open tubes during surgery and now. Been on serrapaptase for about a month now. Sounds like IVF for me. Turning in a consent form for a nasal spray IVF trial today.

I'm sorry that the tubes are blocked still Fefe. I wish you a very successful IVF journey and please don't hesitate to ask any questions you have either to me or to our HT ladies - they are a wealth of info!
