It is very very early but that second nub pic does look very boyish! I've heard gender experts get it wrong a lot btw!

Too early and no one who calls themselves "gender experts" should EVER guess on that gestation - particularly if that guess is girl. boys and girls are identical up until 12+ weeks gestation, because they both start with girl parts. The Y chromosome is dormant until the 10th week, then it wakes up and starts making testosterone. This testosterone causes what looks like girl parts, to become boy parts. So if you guess before that process is complete, you'll see girl parts on what will later be revealed to be all boy.

Better to come here for a free guess, the gender experts are no more experts than we are. 11+3 is way too early, but if I had to guess I would say boy because it appears the nub is pointing upwards. But in reality, 50/50 still.

Thank you both - I guess what I'm confused on is if that boyish nub looking thing on my second pic is actually the nub? I've posted this a few places and most have said 11 weeks + 6 days is too early, but some have also said what I think is the nub on that second pic, isn't even the nub (that it's too high up). So I'm just totally confused with this theory.

It doesn't matter what part is the nub, it's too early. It's the same exact structure in boys and girls and it has not had time to reveal itself as being girl bits or boy bits yet.
Beautiful healthy baby though!

Thanks Atomic. I wish I never knew about the nub theory because I can't stop obsessing. I had GD with my last son and worried those feelings are starting to creep back in as I think it's probably a boy. I have the NIPT results, baby is healthy and that's most important but I'm too chicken to see what the gender is. I think I will wait it out til May and hang on to a tiny sliver that maybe this is a baby girl. Plus not sure GD will hit as much (if a boy) when they hand that baby to me in the delivery room ☺️

You shouldn't obsess over these because you simply can't tell gender at this stage. It's like obsessing about who will win the Superbowl right now when we don't even know the teams that are playing. :)
