I'm just wondering if anyone has used this gender testing and how accurate they are ? It's a blood test you do at home and they offer a money back guarantee if they are wrong . Xx

None of the at home tests are reliable and a lot of the time they won't give you your money back either. (I can't speak to this company in particular as to their money back guarantee, just that I know a lot of people have tried to get their money back on these tests and couldn't due to some loophole or another.)

Hi, I did the EasyDNA test and it was accurate. I didn't believe it though until I got the same result for the Harmony test that my Dr ordered :)

They may be accurate for some people but then again so is a coin flip. It is just not worth the heartbreak you go thru either way. I know of several people who were told inaccurate results with this and ended up causing them a lot of distress. if you can really truly take it and not put any stock into the result that is one thing but I just feel they cause undue heartache for people. :)

It has a 50-50 chance of being correct. Please use only Nipty or Nifty type tests for early gender prediction, where you go to a lab and have them take your blood. The at home tests are simply not reliable enough and have caused tons of heartbreak for people.

Why are they not accurate?

Because they don't work. There are a zillion things that can go wrong with you taking your own blood, sending it into a lab through the mail, etc. We have seen lots of people get wrong test results with these type of tests. The only reliable way to do it is to go to the lab and have them draw your blood and then the blood will be fresh and there will be plenty of it for them to test. Plus the science behind the tests is also superior and much more reliable!
