I got my first +opk yesterday and we did our one attempt after abstaining for 7 days. I know I ovulated today from my normal O pain, so tomorrow will be 1dpo. Really hoping this is it! I already looked it up and if we did conceive this cycle my due date would be August 1st. We already have a busy first half of the month in August with lots of bdays and anniversaries, but I'll take what we can get :)

Even after so many cycles of bfn's I still can't get over not testing early lol! I think a lot of it is my touch of ocd and anxiety, I just have to know haha! So anyways, I will probably test at 9dpo on 11/18. I have a stock pile of wondfo hpts so I don't feel like I'm just wasting a bunch of money testing anyways ;)

If we conceive this cycle I will be due August 1st as well. I usually go 2 weeks early so July would be more likely. Praying for us both this month!

I am the same way! My ovia app is saying to test on the 22nd. I am going to wait to test until we get to my in laws on the 19th. We usually drink while vacationing there so I will want to be sure first before I have a drink. I thinking packing and getting ready to leave this week should help with my impatience lol. Thank goodness.

Yay another due date buddy :) I'm sort of the same, I will be having another csection so we will go up to a week earlier, so an end of July baby it would be. Hope we all get our bfp's in a little over a week!!

No I didn't, kinda regretting it now as its my last baby, bit late now tho! I went fairly hard-core this week tho cause I knew I was dtd so I ate very little for the few days running up to it, 10 day abstaining, 1attempt, loads of coffee and diet coke, and had lost weight so hopefully it's enough ... That's if I'm even pregnant!!! 😃

The main reason why I did was because I didn't have the time or patience lol to do a ton of research, like I had a good idea, but reading so many things can be conflicting too so I was going crazy as to what was the right stuff to do. I am also on metformin for my pcos, so I wanted to know more about that and how it would effect my sway and such. I also wanted to have access to Atomic more since I had so many questions. I'm glad she's put up with me and my questions lol! I did diet (~1500 calories, 50-60g protein and 50-60g fat), still ate meat, but made sure I didn't go over the protein amount, I stopped snacking, still ate breakfast (3 meals a day, but didn't eat cereal), drank coffee and one can diet soda and a glass of white wine at night. I lost 6 lbs since starting, which means I did the diet for around 6 weeks, roughly. We abstained for 7 days and did one attempt at first +opk. Oh and I also stopped all vitamins, except for folic acid.

Thanks! I tried going vegetarian, but man that was way too hard for me. I've always been a meat and potato girl and cutting out all meat was way too hard. That's why I just made sure to cut back on it and stay within the protein limits. Yes the tww is awful. I usually symptom spot, but all of my tww symptoms are pretty much the exact same either pregnant or not lol. The only thing I've noticed before is having a metallic taste in my mouth and peeing more often that stands out for being pregnant. Otherwise I always get tender breasts, get more hungry, more moody, crampy etc. Although it is super duper early I do have a funky taste in my mouth all the time and have been peeing more along with all the other pms symptoms. Idk I guess we'll see! Fingers crossed for us!!

Yes everyone is different, it all depends on when your little bean implants into the uterus, which they say can start as early as 6dpo, but you need a couple days for the hcg levels to rise enough to show up on an hpt and again everyone implants at different times. I know for me and my last two pregnancies, which sadly ended, I was able to get a very faint line at 8dpo and I started testing at 7dpo lol. As far as the gender thing goes, I honestly do not know if that plays a role in when implantation occurs or not, my guess is no, but I do not know for sure. Maybe Atomic could jump in with her thoughts?

My symptoms are crazy, the one's that are not my normal pms symptoms are I was very very cold all the time for the first 5 days after O and then after that I've been so hot, like sweating bullets. I have been crampy across my whole abdomen on and off for the last few days. I am starting to get nauseous at times and I'm thirsty all the time, which in turn I am peeing a lot. 8dpo today too and caved and tested on a cheapie, I saw a shadow of a line, trying to be hopeful. We'll see what tomorrow's test looks like! When do plan on testing?

I'm sorry, but yes there is still hope you can get your bfp!! Well you can test before your missed period, the tests are sensitive enough to pick it up, again depending on when you would have implanted. I know a lot of women do not get a positive until their missed period, so that's why they say, you're not out until af arrives! I am obviously an early implanter lol. With both my living boys I got a bfp at 10dpo , with our angel boy I got a positive at 8dpo, my miscarriage I got a bfp at 9dpo and with this one I got a bfp at 9dpo again. I felt very crampy around 6/7/8dpo, which I'm assuming is when I started implanting. KMFX for you!!

You can technically test as early as 7-8 DPO but you cannot reliably get a positive until 14 DPO. I have seen even a couple people who did not get positive tests till 16 DPO. As a general rule I prefer you guys wait till 10-12 DPO because it causes too much stress and heartbreak testing earlier than that. Even if some get pos tests then, it's just too iffy and people end up getting upset for no good reason.

My betas came back at 60 today (12dpo), going back on Wednesday to make sure they are doubling. I will have a draw for the next two weeks and have a dating ultrasound scheduled for 12/9 when I'll be a little over 6 weeks. I like that my ob is very involved. Just hoping all keeps going well!

Amelia10 the other scenario that does happen is that you may ovulate later than you realize. So instead of being 15 DPO, I have seen it happen that people are really only 7-8 DPO when they test, and AF doesn't come, but the tests are negative. So you can be waiting for AF to come also because of delayed ovulation.

Af arrived today ... Gutted, that's me done until next year, it's weird because this is my 3rd time attempting and each time I get all the pregnancy symptoms like when I had my boys (tiredness, hungry, skin flares up) but then Af comes ... I wonder is it something to do with my husband on anti-depressants? I read some where that you can't get pregnant and the medication does something to the sperm? I think I need to get a plan, how do you buy one? Going to start again in the new year ... How are you feeling hun?

I'm sorry she showed her face! Do you use opks or temp to try and pinpoint ovulation? To get a plan you go to the main page and pick ttc a girl and then purchase whichever plan you'd like. I found it to be very helpful so I could have a special plan just for me, especially since I have pcos and was/am on medication for it. I also liked having access to Atomic on a daily basis. I don't know for sure if sperm can be effected by antidepressants, but I myself have been on antidepressants for many years and that has not affected fertility. I'm feeling alright, having a lot of symptoms, but it makes me feel better in that I'm still pregnant. Very scared of a miscarriage again or another loss. I think until the 20 week scan I will always be on edge, but trying to enjoy it as best I can and trying to stay positive!

You can buy a plan in the "membership and plans" section, there is a button at the top of the page that goes to it.
The poopy thing about TTC is that your progesterone goes up in the 2ww and that causes very similar symptoms to pregnancy because progesterone is also behind pregnancy symptoms. It's even been proven that women are hungrier and can't stick to diets as well in the 2WW due to the prog. Some people are tireder, and others can't sleep (me!!) So it can end up where you get your hopes up thinking this is it, but it's just the prog rise in 2ww. :/
It does take people doing nothing to sway, an average of 3-6 months to fall pregnant. So while it is hard when you've always had quick times to conception, 3-6 months is really not outside of the norm.
I suspect you ovulated much later than you think, considering that you thought you were 15 DPO on the 24th and AF didn't arrive till today (right???) cAn you think back about 14 days or so? Did you continue having attempts after that? You may just not have been in with a viable attempt if you stopped BD when you thought you ovulated and then did not O for a week after that.

I did have another attempt after that atomic 4 days after but didn't think anything of it because I thought I was pregnant already. That's 're-assuring that it takes on average 3 to 6 months to conceive, because the Dh is on anti depressants I thought it was something to do with this, because he wasn't on them with my last 3 pregnancies.
I was at my gp and she Said would prescribe Clomid if I wanted, should I take them for my next attempt do you think?
