Hi all, I'm very new here. I was wondering if taking a b complex to lengthen LP, and I were to become pregnant, when and how should I stop taking it? Thanks!

Well, I wouldn't take one for a pink sway for sure, and I have found that B complex does very little to help most people fix an LP issue anyway and it often ends up actually making it worse with most who've tried it, ending up with delayed ovulation and still a short LP anyway.
CAn you tell me how long your LP is?
If you're already taking it and wish to continue, want to know how to come off it, I would wait until BFP and then gradually wean off of it and onto your prenatal vitamin over the course of about 3 weeks by spacing doses further and further out till down to one per week, then stop them. Do not stop taking it cold turkey as that can cause a miscarriage.

My LP is 7 to 10 days depending on my cycle. Lately my cycles have been anywhere from 22 to 25 days long and I got a positive opk on cd 14 last cycle. That was my first time using ovulation tests. Do you know of any other ways to lengthen LP?

Have you ever had a workup by your OBGYN before? Is this a new thing - have you gotten pregnant with your cycle like this?
The first thing I'd have you do is be sure to eat a serving of full fat dairy every day. Can you tell me more about your weight and the kind of diet you normally eat?
The best thing to fix a short LP is Clomid or Femara from your doctor. But not all docs are willing to medicate for short LP if you have gotten pregnant with a short one before. 7-10 days is long enough to get pregnant (not so much 7, but in the months you have a 9-10 day LP it is possible) so even if they are not willling to help us out, I do have some tricks up my sleeve to help extend it naturally. :)

Sorry for the late response! I did get pregnant with my son with short LP at that time too.. So it may not be an issue. I'm just worried now that I know what day I ovulate in that it may cause an issue this time around.
I weight 110 lbs or so, i seem to be unable to gain weight. I eat cheese, high fat yogurt, cream in my coffee, homogenized milk. Not so great with veggies and fruits.., lots of breads and grains, mostly chicken or ground beef.
I haven't been to my doctor but would rather not go the medication route unless I have to.

No, not at all, but I do want to help you if I at all am able to.
Is your ovulation delayed or just short LP?? This will affect the advice I give.
Since you're already eating a good amount of full fat dairy, I would start eating 4-6 eggs a week. I would lose the ground beef (or cut back) and go to either quality red meat or salmon (no more than 2x a week on salmon)
I am not sure if you're swaying or just seeking advice for short LP but I did want to mention that when people are trying for a girl, they generally cut back on meat products. But things like steak and salmon are great for extending LP.

I dont think it's delayed. I've only just started using opks and got a positive on day 13 both months. It's just my LP that seems to be getting shorter and shorter lately. I am hoping for a girl this time around so will definitely start incorporating your suggestiona into my daily meals!

If you're not trying to sway for a girl, you can treat that as an "at least" this much.
