View Full Version : Am I Insane??

CapricornAquarius

Ok this is my situation!

Ive had a lunar calendar made up for me by a retired astrologer he only done this calendar because he's a friend of my friend, its based on my birth time and birth date & it lasts for a year, so this year my 99.8% chance of conceiving a boy would be March, August, October and I have next yr April. Now I can see why I would have kept on having girls, my chances are pretty limited :hair:

I just cant not go by this calendar cause his past success rate has been astonishing & now Im scared to do it any other month.

My husband thinks Im insane and says how can a certain month make a difference and I say what if it does, how many women have swayed and still end up with the undesired gender so what if they were to have dtd on their own specific months, I wonder if it would have made the difference???

So any thoughts on this??

Then I start thinking to myself maybe I shouldnt even bother swaying and just be grateful with whatever I get, you know what I mean?? But then my silly mind takes over and says otherwise.

You know how 'they' say listen to your heart and not your mind, why can I not stop my mind from overtaking my heart :worry:

Boy this is just all too stressful maybe I shouldnt even bother trying for another and just be happy with my 2 wonderful girls.

Sorry just venting

Damn it I just feel like Im not done, like Im meant to have a third, I always said I'd like to have 3 children.

I think I'll just go make myself a cup of coffee, maybe that will make me feel better.

See I am going insane :sigh:

I don't think you're crazy. I think when something like that is presented to you it is hard to overlook. I know if I were swaying, I would leave no stone unturned. I would do whatever it took to feel like I did all I could and if he is part of your equation, I understand that.

I had a reading by Cherie22 who said I would have a girl again and she see's september.. now I am so paranoid because we are going to try this Dec so my EDD would be in SEPTEMBER. I am now considering waiting until January BUT I also give birth early so chances are I would end up giving birth in SEPTEMBER so now what do I do? Wait until Feb :S

I went a psychic several years ago with a friend of mine who had made 2 appointments for herself and another friend, then her friend couldn't make it- so I took it. I say this because the psychic had no idea who I was, could never have researched anything etc. I was to write down a few questions for him. He had me throw some strange dice and made this weird chart on a piece of paper and proceeded to tell me my exact birthday, the names of my parents, and several other astonishing facts and then spoke about my future... he told me I would have one child, a girl. Well, I had a boy and now I'm having 2 children. I say this because even psychics who are right about some things aren't right about everything.

You are very right!

They can never be 100% and Im pretty sure they never claim to be either.

Ive only ever been to a palm reader and that was 3yrs ago and although she has been so right with everything, she did say my 3rd would be a boy, but that Im yet to see.

I have been looking into these gender charts too. It was correct for my daughter, so i am going to wait for the boy months to ttc, i have been waiting 6 months and have Dec, Jan, Feb to try for my boy. I see that many people on here disagree with the chart thing, but for my own peace of mind i am going to give it a shot, cant hurt right?

Thats what I think we need to do, for our own piece of mind. And no its not hurting anyone maybe only us I guess cause we have to wait certain months.

OHHHH it was so much easier concieving my girls, I wish there was no such thing as swaying, then we'd just get what ever we were suppose to, or maybe this is just what happens anyway :hair:

If I just ttc any of the other months and I end up with another girl, I'll kick myself for not going by my calendar grrrrr:mad: and if I go by this calendar and still get a girl then I'll know she was meant to be also.

Ok this is my situation!
Ive had a lunar calendar made up for me

DD1 :ballerina: DD2 :giggle:Does he say the whole October is 'boy month' or he gave you fertile days that may or may not match your actual O days?

This is the same with Dr Jonas calendar, they give you fertile days each month and they give 98-99% gender accuracy IF you conceive baby on those days. You are not supposed to have sex but on those 3 days they gave you.
If your actual O date don't match their dates, and you decide to try on your actual 'fertile window', they can't guarantee your baby's gender.

See my point? It's accurate only on THEIR dates, so maybe you can try on your actual O dates and your swaying will prevale kwim? However, if their and your O date match, pregnancy is practically innevitable.

Here is the site of the Odan Institute http://odan.jp/en/index.html , and they do the same thing. Gender calendar with your personal 3 fertile days (96% accuracy) is 24 euros and 99% which contains more detailed info is I think 77euros. It is basically your lunar fertility calendar based on Dr Jonas method.

Maybe, just for the piece of mind, you could order that 96% calendar and compare to your calendar?

HTH!!!! BTW, I'm obsessing like crazy about biorhytms :sigh:

Cap, I know what you mean....it is hard to ignore things you think may do the trick....I guess it is just up to you if you can wait. Nothing wrong with waiting if you have the patience for it. You can certainly have a great sway if you work on it for 6 months! Then again, I am not sure if I believe in that stuff. I had a psychic freak me out like Lindi and guess all this stuff about me. She said I have "2 of the 4, either the girls or the boys," and I obviously had 2 girls, so she said I'd have 2 more kids, boys. Of course, now I can't even get pregnant, so who knows. Gotta just go with what you feel most confident and comfortable with, and what can keep you and DH happy and not chomping at the bit to get on with it.

yoru enot nuts once i start reading that stuff i get all into it, then i read about diet and i stay with that. i think diet is themost impt. we cant say that every person who has had a boy just happened to conceive on a "boy day/month" according to any gender chart. theres too many ppl in the world for that! i cant say im not a believer bc i get sucked into it myself but esply if ppl are taking money you have to think there is something that may not always be right.

i guess if you are young enough and if youre ok to wait till april, then go for it but if you just cant wait, then go full force on the diet and DTD!
good luck

Yes I see your point ZBubac, mine did say I can only dtd on my boy months and only on the dates that he claims I should O, he was spot on in August but this October Ive O'd earlier.

Had a look at the Odan Institute, thanks for that, yes sounds alot like the one I had made up, although I didnt pay anything for mine. Has anyone tried any of these calendars from Odan or Jonas and been successful on GD???

So what I'll do for now is continue my boy diet although not a big meat eater, continue taking my supps & I'll stick with my calendar, although if his O dates over the next 2months dont match up with mine then I'll buy the Odan calendar.

OHHHH it was so much easier concieving my girls, I wish there was no such thing as swaying, then we'd just get what ever we were suppose to, or maybe this is just what happens anyway :hair:

But it does hurt in terms of your sway, if you skip months that are actually really scientifically more boy-friendly than others in order to conceive in months that some psychic told you...well to me that's a bad trade.

Plus, the stress and worry of trying to move your O day etc - people do and take medications that sway in the wrong direction in order to move their O onto a certain day and to me that's an even worse trade there.

http://genderdreaming.com/forum/showthread.php?1693-the-seasons-and-swaying

And coming from someone who has seen way too many wonderful people waste months and years both on swaying stuff that is too strict, and failed HT, only to end up totally unable to conceive due to age - you DON'T want to waste any months when you're TTC. If you're like 24 years old of course that may not be a big deal to you but anyone who is 35, 36, 37 and I know there are people on here who are, I BEG you guys not to spend time chasing after mysticism and magic and just GET PREGNANT as quick as you can because at some point, sooner or later, that fertility window will close and you will no longer be able to conceive at all. If you cannot get pg, you have zero chance at your DG. None of us have any guarantee of pregnancy, risks of many birth defects begin to skyrocket, and it may very well be that the exact month the psychic told you not to conceive, that was your last fresh egg in the carton...

I apologize for sounding harsh but I don't want anyone to walk away from this process heartbroken because there have been too many people already.

I know in my heart that if i conceive another girl i will be so so upset & even though i can try to sway, we all know there's no guarantee & i just dont feel happy with a 50/50 shot.

So unless i somehow accidently fall pregnant which i do doubt, i wont be trying for a third.

I cant believe that the astrologer who did my calendar actually did get it spot on, even though I really thought I was O'ing on the 1st and 2nd cause I had heaps of cm, we couldnt dtd anyway cause my husband was away with work, funny enough he came back on the 5th & my calendar said I must dtd on the 5th & 6th of this month, I thought what the heck we'll do it anyway, & it was so right, pretty freaky hey!!

Now Im wondering how accurate he will be with the gender?? I really really hope its a :DS:, but regardless I really know that this baby was so so meant to be.

Im trying so so hard to stop thinking about the gender becasue I really want to enjoy this pregnancy, its my last time, hubby is doing the chop once he/she is born.

Dd1 :ballerina: Dd2 :giggle: & OMG Im :pregnant:

I didn't! YAY! I'm so excited for you!!!! Good luck and best wishes!!!!

KYBO you can find it on astro.com, go to free horoscopes, then extended chart selection and choose special charts, then where you select the chart you go way down and find biorythm and lunar phases fertility calender (Jonas). Just for fun! Ds1 was conceived on a Jonas girl date.
