Does many attempts (daily from +opk on) still lower count ans sway girl?

I have never truly recommended O+12 and you can read why here http://genderdreaming.com/forum/trying-to-conceive-a-girl/35539-no-12-a.html
For reasons none of us know, we found in our results that one attempt swayed pink really, really, a lot. We didn't know this when the site first started, it just became obvious over time when we tracked our results.
What I would like to suggest you do instead is have unprotected sex every 4 days. For reasons again, which we don't totally know, this has been a pretty easy way to do one attempt while maintaining better odds of conception. I would NEVER suggest BD several times after positive OPK because this is what we do to sway blue.
If you are really wanting to boost odds of conception what I'd do is have unprotected sex every 4 days and then have one more attempt at positive OPK. But you may want to give it a try with e4d for a few months because a lot of times with the one attempt and not getting pregnant, it's that people did not have well timed attempts, too early or too late, and the e4d protects against that.

Atomic is the expert, but I just wanted to add that most of the ladies that I have watched who are in a hurry and add attempts to get pregnant faster end up with more boys. Be patient- one attempt or e4d is so successful for girl it is worth the wait! (I am pregnant and just found out yesterday it is a GIRL and we got her with every 4 days method, plus LE diet and a few other things of course). Good luck.

When do you start the every 4 day thing? 4 days from your start of period?

Normally they say start when AF is over and go all the way till a week past the latest you have ever ovulated or just until AF starts again. I just kept going till I got my BFP.

Just whenevs. Does not have to be a particular day, I just like you guys to be sure to have started it up for sure before O could possibly happen. I usually have people start BD the day after AF ends just for the sake of convenience.

I kept being reminded that there is no magic bullet and there isn't one thing that can make or break a sway. Including number of attempts. I was one of those people swaying pink who added in extra attempts because of being impatient and got an opposite. The rest of my sway wasn't perfect, but, was very different to when I conceived my first son.

So just every 4 days, regardless of +opk? I thought it was every 4 days and then on the day of a +; but that had me confused bc you could ended up with 2 days in a row or every other day, right?
So do I even need to use opks? Or just plan on every 4 days until bfp or af?

You can do either dreaming. Just every 4 without another at pos OPK or you can throw in an extra attempt at pos OPK if you want to get pregnant faster. I personally think every 4 is more pink because an extra at pos OPK would probably be two attempts in fertility window. You don't have to use OPKs if you don't want to but most ladies still like to know. If they stress you out to do them, then you don't have to on e4d method. Good luck.

Thanks! I'm just trying to wrap my head around e4d. When I was younger, I got pregnant first month of trying 3 different times and now we are on month 4! So, if today was day 4 and we dtd,and I get a +opk tomorrow, and we don't dtd for 3 more days, could we miss the opportunity for conception not knowing when I ovulate? Maybe I'm over thinking, but I'm worried conception isn't going to happen (I'm 36 !)

With e4d you shouldn't miss the egg because sperm can live many many days inside the woman. If you DTD on Monday and Friday and you dropped the egg Thursday- your Monday sperm should still be alive in there. I am 35, will be 36 when baby gets here and I got pregnant on e4d. Four months trying might feel like forever but it is very normal, even for ladies in their 20's. If you really just want to be pregnant more than you care about sticking to just one attempt then add an attempt at positive OPK or shortly there after. It kind of depends on when you last DTD compared to when you get your positive OPK. What cycle day are you now? Do you have an idea of when you normally get a pos OPK?

My cycle is pretty irregular but these past 3 months, I have gotten +opk around days 12-14 ( 5-8 years ago I was more like days 17-21). So I am on day 10 today and today is day 4 for e4d. So if I get a +opk in 4 days, I will have had an attempt 1 day before opk and 3 days after. Is that good?

I'm going to jump on here. I too know ed4 or 1 attempt sways girl... every month I don't get pregnant though my mind goes to the thought of adding more attempts the next month. I feel like more attempts would get me pregnant, but know in my heart it could result in boy.

There are two different ways to do it. One is just straight up e4d. Then for people who are not getting pregnant with that or with one attempt at positive, we then have them do e4d plus another attempt at positive. Yes, you can end up with more attempts that way but some people end up having to do that in order to get pregnant. Start off without doing that and then see if you get pregnant before adding the additional attempt.

Then do the compromise of e4d plus one at positive, or if that is too stressful, e3d

It's not good or bad, it just is. The attempt after O is obviously too late, but the earlier attempt would have a chance of hitting the egg!!
