I know that exercise is one of the strong pink sways. I have some weight I could lose (not sure if there is an ideal BMI but I am around 28). I know one good way is to weight + cardio. But from what i can figure out, the exercise seems to be more focused on cardio? Is it ok to mix cardio and weights to lose weight and exercise?

I am going to aim for 3 days per week and almost always get 12000 steps at work (not hard cardio I know, but I am not just sitting on my keester :) ). I will have a hard time working out between shifts but am really going to try to do at least 3 days a week for both the exercise portion and losing weight portion.

the advice I give has to be kinda one-size-fits-all and erring on the side of what I think will work for most people most of the time. You can get a girl with less exercise, and you can get a girl using light weights, as long as you're losing weight on a lower protein, lower cal diet. Now do I think it's going to optimize your odds to do that - I can't say, and I do think best results on the whole are from straight cardio but that doesn't mean it can't work for you to do weights (esp. light ones).

Personally, I lifted HEAVY weights 4x a week and did a ton of cardio, and got a girl.

But I was already a much lower BMI than you (19-20 range) and still eating very LE. I was also technically doing more hours of cardio a week than weights even with that heavy amount of lifting.

:agree:

always a chance of a boy or a girl no matter what, we're just trying to do what optimize odds. :)
