I knew from the moment the Ramzi theory said boy...but in my heart I just held that glimmer of hope for a girl.
My husband is going to be devastated, I feel like cancelling our 16 week gender scan and just accepting it

It's okay.
I had a cry...sob really, and told hubbie.
He was so much less upset than I thought, even though he already has all boys from a previous marriage.
He just said next time we'll sway harder....so it's nice he's willing to try again.
Thanks for all your guesses.
I think Ramzi is basically 97.2% accurate...and I had a scan at 6 weeks, and 9 weeks. So it was spot on for me!

I know alot of people ramzi ends up wrong for that i just cant believe the 97% accuracy myself...i have had two babies on the right end up girls and my sister in law's baby was on the total opposite side of this baby and left from what the sonographer told her but he is all boy per genetic testing :) Maybe there is still some truth for it, but its not THAT accurate IMO.
I do see a boy nub i believe so i am expecting you will hear boy...go see your adorable baby boy at 16 weeks if you can..you and hubby can bond, get 100% confirmation and fall even more in love with your little one without the rushed scan a doctor will do at 20 weeks anyhow.. he looks like he is eating his hand in these pictures...he is just too sweet.
Congrats on the adorable baby regardless of what the 16 or 20 week scan will show...and i am glad we will see you back for another sway at some point :)

Ramzi is NOT that accurate and I've seen people pay the man himself $10 to guess their ultrasounds and he guessed wrong.
But that having been said I do think that looks like a beautiful baby boy. Huge congrats.

He looks like he's practicing drinking a beer (my husbands words)
I do think that doing the smep thing (kind of), threw it for me.
Regardless, we intend to try for baby number 2 within a year of this one.

Yes. My husbands boys are lovely, rough and tough little fellas.
We're ready for some girlieness. But hopefully next year will be our year.
Perhaps a HY attempt.

We hope healthy.
They did some bloods and a Nuchal fold scan yesterday, we won't know the results for a week.

Oh yeah I forgot you have to wait for the result. I think I meant more growing well, hopefully the results will come back all low risk!

I thought boy as well, there is always a chance I was told at 20 weeks that ds was a girl and he is all boy. I would prepare yourself for a boy but these theories are never 100% x

Yes, I am 100% sure it's a boy too.
Knew it as soon as I saw the screen, and the scan before that the skull was all boy, then the Ramzi theory before that.
Triple threat :)
I'm definitely going to have to accept it, there's no other option.
Feel miserable today, and disconnected, lacing up my running shoes right now, haven't been for a run for so long, but I just need to get outside and burn off this negative energy.

This nub is not 100% to me, but I definitely would be preparing for boy, just in case. Good luck and congrats with baby.

Mrs S I know you want a girl but I have to agree with the others that it's likely a boy. I can echo what another poster said that boys are wonderful - mine lil guy is actually pretty girlie haha sensitive, cautious, gentle, caring and my SIL who desperately wanted a girl for the 'cuteness and dressups' got her wish but she is a total tomboy who is really rough and prefers to play in dirt than wear pink etc (not saying that's the reason you want a girl). Gender doesn't always equal the stereotypes society has implanted in our heads. I hope you do hear girl though as that's what you want xx

This baby has the nicest little face, so sad that you are not thrilled with him and already thinking of trying for another so you get your wish.

I don't think that feeling is abnormal for a failed sway.
