I had a scan at 12w3d but measured 12w6d. I was told almost positive it's a girl. Tech looked at genitals for a really long time. Neither one of us saw anything resembling a penis. My boys were very much boys at 13 weeks. My question is, is there a high chance that a penis can sprout up at this stage?

I know it can go from girl to boy still. Not sure of the odds but many women are told girl at 12/13 weeks and then discover it's a boy at 20 week scan. A friend swayed for a boy and was devestated to hear girl at 12 weeks but low and behold at 20 weeks there he was.
However both of my boys were very clearly boys at 12 weeks so I would be cautiously optimistic.

That is too early to be 100% for sure (13 weeks is better), but it's a heck of a lot better than seeing a big dingaling LOL.
Good luck and pink dust.

:agree: I have seen at least 2 people on here who I would have sworn girl even at the end of the 13th week and ended up having boys. It can happen so don't go crazy shopping or anything. But like I said, it's better than seeing a peener. :)
