View Full Version : Could my sway be stopping me ovulating?

Hi, I am really concerned that I am no longer ovulating. I have been tracking my cycle the past two months and my BBT is very irregular - the differences between temps before suspected ovulation (going on cervical mucous) and after are about the same - there are slight dips and spikes in places but the luteal phase is definitely not consistently higher than the follicular phase - does this mean I'm not ovulating? I have lost about 6 pounds or so on the diet in the past 6-8 weeks (but my BMI is still about 19.2 so still healthy). I have been doing the exercise 4 to 5 times a week. Really worried now I won't be able to conceive now I've managed to persuade my hubby to try. With my two boys I conceived first month and have always had lots of EWCM (I now have far less). Any advice much appreciated. I don't want to put the weight back on or stop exercising but want to be able to conceive of course!

Yes about 14 days after 'suspected ovulation' but reading up it looks like you can still get AF without ovulating?

To much hard core swaying can mess with your hormones.

Are you eatng full fat dairy? I've added that back bc my ovulation was weak/too soon eating low fat everything.

Yes about 14 days after 'suspected ovulation' but reading up it looks like you can still get AF without ovulating?

If you are getting AF 14 days after you think you ovulated, the odds are all but 100% you are ovulating.

Thank you. I hope so! We had an attempt the day after ovulation I think this month in the end so doubting I'm pregnant this month but would like to think I am at least ovulating so we are in with a chance next month!

Yes, day after ovulation = 0% odds of conception, unfortunately. you never know though you may have Oed later than you thought.
