View Full Version : Advice please...have I ruined my sway??

Hiya I was hoping for some advice, I've been doing le diet, coffee& alcohol since July time, I've done quite well with it & lost a fair amount of weight. We had our first attempt in November & I really thought I was pregnant so slacked off from le in 2ww & since then haven't really gone back to doing the diet properly. I've stuck with alcohol & coffee (once I realised I wasn't pregnant) & now I'm ov again & am too scared to try incase my over - eating for the past few weeks has ruined it. Any advice would be great!

This is why you guys need to stick with diet till BFP, because so many people have done exactly this.

Since you have been on diet since July I think you need to try again this month. Diet will still be working for you. Of course if you'll live 1000 years of regret if you try and get an opposite, then skip it, but keep in mind that you never know, this may be the perfect month and next month will be worse, for all we know.

Thanks so much for replying atomic, I could kick myself for not sticking with it! We've had our attempt anyway so I guess let's wait & see. I've still stuck with skipping breakfast, coffee & alcohol every night so I'm hoping that will help, but my meals have been much higher in calories & I've snacked sometimes which I wasn't doing before, hopefully the diet has had some effect anyway from the amount of time I did it, also only had 1 attempt! I'm also surviving on about 3/4 hours sleep per night at the min thanks to ds 2 so hoping that might help too! Fingers crossed x

We knosw based on our results that time on diet does sway. :agree: So does lack of sleep. Good luck!
