View Full Version : Back to work - will it ruin my sway? :(

So I go back to work in 2 weeks after having over a year off with DD. I am a high school dance teacher and dance 5 days a week for roughly 4-5 hours a day - anything from ballet, hip hop, jazz, tap etc.
My first attempt will be next cycle, so I would have been back at work about 3-4 weeks by the time I O.
I plan to keep swaying and snacking all day and lifting weights when I get home of a night but will all that cardio be a problem? What are ways to counteract this?
Thanks in advance!

I'd think the best way to counteract it is to up your calories. Not just up snacking, but up total food intake period?

Thanks panther - me too! Gah! I've never eaten so much in my life per day as I am now let alone when I'm back at work!!

I don't think it will ruin your sway. Actually, I would have you give up the weights instead because it may be too taxing. Just eat enough to compensate for the increase in activity!

Cheers atomic! I'll just up my food intake :)

No, that is not good enough, it actually takes a toll on your body and fertility. I think that the exercise you are doing in the day is enough and I do not want you doing the weights on top of it.

Sorry I meant, I won't do the weights at all and I'll just up my food intake to make up for all the cardio I will be doing.
