Hi all! I am expecting a baby in September! did not sway for too long, so we will see! Happy for a healthy baby really :)
Anyway, I am so confused as to when I could have ovulated!
My cycles are irregular, and I was not temping. The cycle prior to this one was 25 days only, but they vary.
CD1 was 12/4. I got a positive OPK (ovulation predictor kit) on Saturday 12/17, CD14. I got a glob of EWCM (egg white cervical mucus) the next day (12/18 and what I *think* may have been ovulation pains). Then On 12/19 (Monday) I got more discharge, stretchy but I do not remember if it was clear (it may have been, this is my first cycle paying attention to discharge). It was super super tiny though, and only in the morning.
We BD (baby dance (sex)) only on 12/15, 3 days before the positive OPK, and 4-6 days before ovulation.
Any way I can maybe narrow down the ovulation window with this information? I obviously ovulated because I am pregnant :) It was only one atempt in the fertile window.
Thanks!

Hi Monana!
It is really pretty much impossible to know retroactively when you Oed. I ~doubt~ you got pregnant from 5 or 6 days before O simply because it's pretty long odds. O-4 is tough, but not impossible. Odds are that it's O-3 or that the OPK was misleading (like, your urine may have been too dilute with earlier tests and did not register positive till you were well on into the surge) and you Oed sooner than you think you did. :)
Are you trying for a boy or a girl?
Congrats on your baby!

Thanks! Yes I was thinking 5-6 day cutoff was very unlikely! I was just under the impression that ovulation comes after EWCM, not during... But who knows!
We have a boy, so we are hoping for a girl. Hence why we tried the cutoff and one attempt. Aside from that I was on a modified LE diet (really just skipped breakfast and avoided the big no nos) for ~2months only. Also for 1 month I exercised almost every day, and the month I conceieved I exercised every single day for 1hr. Wine eveey night, no big O, lube.... that was all really... so we will see. Not the strongeat sway!

You can have EWCM before, during, and even after O. It's not ovulation that makes you have EWCM, it's your hormone levels, and so sometimes they can stay a little higher even after O and that makes you have EWCM longer than you might think. I actually had some 2 days after I ovulated in the month I conceived my DD.
I think you had a very good sway so please don't worry. :)
