Hi, not sure if there is an up to date thread running which gives girl diet meal examples. e.g. breakfast (not planning on having this) lunch and dinner ideas.
I usually have breakfast however I have managed to stop having this over the past few days. I love tea I am going to find this very difficult to give up! Just looking for some advice while I am waiting on my personalised plan.
If there is a recent thread giving examples of meal ideas please send me the link.

Hi...I haven't missed tea at all surprising though as I used to have 3 cups a day now I can't imagine going back to it I'm loving coffee on This diet !!
That sounds like a good day weezie - today I'm having salad for lunch then a veggie bake for dinner with some wine .
Back on it today after grazing all day yesterday with a bit of a hangover whoopsy!

Hangovers are tough on this diet!
Today
Breakfast Black coffee
Lunch jacket potato and salad with a little tuna mayo (low fat mayo) as it needs using up, and a little low fat cheddar
Dinner Japanese style curry (onions, peppers, carrots and potatoes) and rice, with wine or beer

I know as I always wants to wake up and stuff my face with eggs and bread and bacon !
I've also been having low fat mayo in my sandwiches I just keep it in my limits - I'm not tracking as religiously anymore as I'm kinda clued up on what to eat / how much etc now so just having smaller lighter vegetarian meals basically with coffee and wine thrown in .
My attempt is only a week away so trying to be super good this week!

There are some new 'high protein' ones which supposedly fill you longer. Still on 4g.

I have been eating sugar snap peas with egg whites. I also top with roasted salsa because it adds loads of flavor without using much or having much sodium. I put the sugar snap peas in a pan and almost cover with water so by the time the water is evaporated after cooking them I just need to stir around the pan for a minute or so and they are cooked without needing butter or oil. I cook the egg whites in a bit of margarine. I also like to toast 2 slices of rye bread, spread 1tbsp of hummus on each and put 5 or so slices of cucumber on top. I have also found high fiber English muffins and bagels. They are good to put some tomato sauce on top with a bit of cheese and mushroom and put in the oven until toasty and melted.

Well I started back on the diet and exercise 3 January, by the following day I was struck down by the flu virus that's going around and it's totally knocked me for 10. Anyway today I'm up and about and been able to stick to two meals apart from having medication this morning, I'm not going to start exercising again until next week though.
For lunch I had two slices of wholemeal toast with a little butter and marmite and a mug of honey, lemon and ginger. Mug of coffee at around 3ish. Then for dinner I made Chana masala with spinach from the good food website and it was gorgeous. It's low fat but very tasty and filling I didn't need to have any rice or naan with it. It made two portions so I have enough for tomorrow's dinner too. Going to make it with roasted peppers next time and maybe add a spoonful of natural yogurt to switch it up. Then I had a few Jaffa cakes for my sweet tooth.
I need some ideas for lunch as that's what I really struggle with, I don't mind sticking with toast but marmite is probably too fortified and I can't have jam because I'm going sugar free when my virus has gone because of immune problems.

Hey - for lunch I normally have white break with Philadelphia and cucumber or low fat cheese sandwich or egg sandwich or a tortilla with hummus and veggies that's it basically lots of boring sandwiches haha I do actually enjoy them though!
Dinner is always a veggie option like veggie burger or pizza or rice and veggies or pasta or a veggie bake with cheese on top
Hope this helps :) x

I've been having cup a soups for lunch or homemade. Lightly roasting courgette and carrot and dipping in hummus too- I mix a tsp with natural yoghurt and it makes a lovely dip- doesn't use too much fat or protein up too.
Rice and broccoli with hot sauce is another go to for me!

I also drink a lot of tea. At first I thought it would be impossible to live without it. Now I actually think that it could work, at least with some herbal tea.
My plan is to start the LE-diet about a month but I have already done some changes. I have switched the tea at breakfast to coffee instead, I never drank coffee before and now I drink a lot.
I still drink tea at the evenings but my plan is to switch it to herbal tea when I start my diet, I think that herbal tea is ok! Maybe also rooibos tea, atomic didn't really know. I also wondering if I could do my own tea of spices like cinnamon, cardamom and cloves, but I don't know if that will sway blue, what do you think? Do anyone else has some other suggestion of tea that it's ok?

Peppermint is ok afaik? The fruit infusions that are known as fruit tea (uk) are caffeine free and don't actually have any tea- they might be a good option? I swapped tea for coffee - really weak at first to get used to it and gradually Made it stronger.

Peppermint tea may cut odds of conception somewhat so I would stick to dietary amounts unless actively using it as a sway tactic. (only women under 35 and without other fertility issues)
Cinnamon may sway pink, but can also make your blood sugar drop and make you get kind of woozy much more easily when on LE Diet. Can also really make weight fly off. So use in dietary amounts unless using as sway tactic (and only those with PCOS or more than 30 lbs to lose should do that)
As long as you mix it up with the herb teas they are ok. What I do not want you guys to do is to use anything daily, or more than daily, unless you are deliberately using it as a sway tactic (and after doing the research to know if it's right for you.)

Because they don't have much going on in the way of nutrition and they are very handy for eating on the go. Low fat, low protein, and actually not as many cals as you might think.
They are just kind of helpful to have handy because most of the prepackaged bar-type foods are hugely fortified with vitamins and so they are a better choice than let's say a power bar when you're in the car and need a quick snack.

No, it isn't, and if you feel like it is, then something is wrong.
1500-1800 cals a day for most, 40-50 g protein, 30-60 g fat. Many people go up to 1800-2000 cals a day, 50-60 g protein, 50-60 g fat. Low carb veg are free and unlimited, higher carb veg and fruit you count only cals but they are free for protein and fat. (so you can actually eat even MORE because none of this stuff counts) This is a decent amount of food intake and if you're starving we need to figure out what we can tweak to enable you to eat better and feel full longer. Hit me up with your diet and stuff! that's what I'm here for.
When I was swaying I did eat exactly what my hubs and kiddos ate. What I'd do is just make my normal meals and then I'd eat the side dish, salad, vegetable, bread or dessert (not all of them, I don't cook that much food lol, just some combo of those things) and just skip the meat. I would watch my portions to be sure I was within cal tolerances and it worked really good. :)

Starting off slowly on this LE PCOS diet - no breakfast, cup of coffee at 12pm and then lunch around 1.30pm - salad with Lettuce, celery, cucumber, small amount of carrot and a small amount of avocado, some parmesan cheese and a can of tuna.
No snacking which I am finding tough on Day 1 of this - so used to a morning and arvo snack!

I would say Wowsers I would be hungry on that lunch ! So maybe add in something more substantial so you are more full?
I eat soup with Pitta or sandwiches with cream cheese or Swiss cheese with salad - for dinner I have veggie burgers / sausages / pasta and sauce / tortellini with sauce or home baked pizza / jacket potatoes with beans or light sour cream .
I can say I haven't had a head ache at all on this diet other than having a cold I tend to fill up on coffee and Diet Coke until the next meal .
Well done on heading off to the gym good luck !

I'm going super slowly. Cut out snacking at the moment and vegetarian option at breakfast and lunch. Next month I intend to cut breakfast Monday-Friday as husband would not be happy if i cut the weekend too! Hoping to start exercise then as well. Perhaps take it one step at a time? Hopefully less likely to feel it then?

Another day, another slow start to the LE PCOS diet -
No breakfast, cup of coffee with skim milk, lunch is a Roasted Cauliflower Biryani I made - cauliflower, carrot, white rice and some curry paste.
I am wondering people on the alt LE diet - do you have breakfast? I was thinking maybe a smoothie could be the way to go?

Thanks for the tip about the fruit infusion herbaltea, that sounds like a perfect option to me!!!
Atomic, what do you think about Liptons fruit infusion herbal tea, the ingredients in one of them (summerfruit) are: Rosehip 40%, hibiscus, arom, blackberry leaves, strawberries 0.9%, 0.9% raspberry, maltodextrin, would that be ok to drink one tea bag with a lot of warm water (light tea in other words) with a sandwich to dinner and one cup in the mornings? I will also drink a lot of coffee, like 4 or 5 cups a day.

Mine was
Lunch: leek and potato soup fruit
Dinner: veg stir fry with wholewheat noodles and hot sauce, and a yoghurt
I have an exercise class tonight so might do a 3rd meal tonight to bump up cals.
I have struggled with no snacking - I think I do this without thinking usually!

I am starting this diet wholeheartedly again, so here is my intake for the day so far:
Lunch:
Baked potato with a bit of margarine, a chicken leg, and a cup of hot cocoa/coffee mix (can't do straight coffee yet) and 2 handfuls of pretzels.
Dinner:
Stir fry veggies, rice and a small amount of chicken (I know one of my kids will not eat their meat, so I will eat that)
The no snacking is my downfall. I keep catching myself snacking without even realizing it. At least last night I ate only one oreo cookie instead of a handful. :)

Are veg stir fry like carrot, water chestnut, haricot beans, broccoli, red onion
baby corn, corn, peas and parsnip unlimited like other vegetables (if I don't add any fat when I fry it)?
The vegetables (veg stir fry, corn and peas) I had for lunch today was like 14g protein and 270 cal. Should I count them or are they free like other vegetables?

So I just made the yummiest meal I have had in a while and had to share. I am doing the pcos version of LE so have to limit carbs mostly. I have been using Rye bread because it is much better for people with insulin resistance. I used a tbsp of a light version of country crock to sauté some mushroom and mini red and yellow peppers. Then I added another tbsp of the margarine and poured the egg over top and let it cook a while until firm. I put 1/4 c of crumbled feta on top and folded it over. I toasted 2 slices of the rye bread and then spread this dip I found over it. It is from Chobani and is made from Greek yogurt. It is the smoked onion and Parmesan flavor and has almost no fat, carbs and very low calories. This meal was delicious and so filling. Here is the nutrition info.
Also, I don't track sodium. I use it very sparingly but don't track it or I would go crazy. I mainly just keep track of calories, fat, carbs and protein. I apologize if I'm missing anything.

Count calories and protein from corn and peas. Corn is considered more like a grain in the way your body processes it and peas are considered more like a protein in that most non-soy vegan protein sources are peas.

Imama I never counted carbs on the le diet as I found they were naturally lower because calorie, fat and protein were lower if that makes sense....

Yes it is but if you mean cappuccino as in a shot of coffee with heated milk whether skim or full cream then that's considered snacking/food because of the calories and should be had with one of your meals. Hth :)

I think our coffees are quite different (Australia to USA) so if its mostly hot water with a dash of milk (or creamer do you's call it?) then it may be fine :) Maybe just ask them what they use?

If it's a cappuccino it will be a milk based coffee whether made fresh or from powder the main ingredient is milk, so best to have that with a meal. You could always have an Americano with a splash of milk if you need a coffee to keep you going.

No they don't. I use coconut water for both boys and girls and if you use seltzer instead of soda water (they taste identical) that takes away even the remotest likelihood that it sways blue.

:agree: coco water is a good way for anyone to get a bit of extra potassium. Blue swayers like to have lots of potassium, and pink swayers often need potassium so as not to DIE from getting too little. EVERYONE needs 2500-3500 mg potassium minimum and this is the same on all sway diets. So both groups can benefit from coco water

Wysłane z iPhone za pomocą Tapatalk
Most people don't need to count carbs. A few people do count them if they have moderate to severe PCOS but they are very much in the minority.
Ladies, I rarely read these support threads because they get very long very quickly, if you have questions of this nature please start a separate thread in the forums to ask me and I"m happy to answer.

My plan is to start the LE-diet in February (12 weeks before the first attempt in the middle of may). I have already start with the exercise (1 h brisk walk 6 days a week), a lot of coffee (6 cups a day, didn't drink it at all before), 3 meals a day (no change from before), 16 h without food (between 6 pm to 10 am) on weekdays (started last week). I only eat vegetables, fish and chicken (no change from before). When I start the diet I'm only going to eat vegetarian food though. My BMI is about 18 so I don't have any weight to loose.
The first week in February, one week before I'm going to start the diet (in other words 13 weeks before first attempt) we are going on a all inclusive vacation. In other words I'm going to eat a lot more than I use to. Probably three meals a day like I use to, but a lot more food and probably a lot of vegetables, fish, seafood and chicken (I (almost) only like healthy food) and maybe deserts and a couple of drinks before dinner.
I love food and really looking forward to this vacation! I'm going to continue with my exercise during the vacation. What do you think, is it ok for me to be relax about this and enjoy all the delicious food or could it ruin my sway? Should I postpone the first attempt a month to the middle of June instead, and do the diet for about 16-17 weeks before to make up for my "all inclusive week"?
Any time after 12 weeks is fine. You do not need to sway for 16-17 weeks that's not what our results showed.

Hello I'd like to join! I am not officially starting the diet hardcore until the end of Feb since we are starting TTC end of May, but I am trying to get it figured out and get the kinks out in the next few weeks and also lose some weight. I'm not doing super low fat because I have diminished ovarian reserve. I'm aiming for 1,800 calories or less a day, with fat and protein between 60-80g per day which is still much less that I was getting before.
This is the beginning of my fourth week on the diet. I have had a few cheats, and a few days where I didn't quite hit my number goals but I'm still in the learning period. Today I had:
Breakfast (10:00am)- Sausage breakfast sandwich (I only have these on the weekend), water, and coffee with creamer
Lunch (2:00pm)- 2 slices cheese and veggie pizza, 1/2 Dr Pepper, water
Dinner (6:00pm)- homemade chicken and egg noodle soup, 2 small squares dark chocolate, water
I usually have more fruits and veggies, but today's numbers come to 1,660 calories, 78g fat, 73g protein. I'm excited to get some more meal ideas from you ladies!

Yesterday was a good day! :) :) No breakfast, coffee, then a chickpea/sweet potatoe fritter with salad leaves & dressing for lunch. Dinner was spag bog with garlic bread. So I loaded up on the pasta and limited the meat (100g) and smashed 3 pieces of garlic bread to get the carbs up. 1 glass of wine and 1 Diet Coke.
Calories were at 1533 and was 3g under in protein, and over 6g in fat. Carbs still need some work , still had 55g left.
But good day! ")

Hey everyone
New here. Just started diet today. I'm already a seasoned macro counter so I'm going to continue counting everything just with my percentages/grams tweaked to fit LE.
I absolutely cannot skip breakfast. I end up feeling incredibly sick. I've been used to five meals of good wholesome food for the last three years so while I'm still actually eating the same amount of calories, the quality will certainly decline lol
I'm guessing breakfast and maybe one snack is ok as long as I stay within my macro/calorie limits.
And wine in the evening, this excites me haha

How much coffee do you drink? I started to drink coffee in December, I haven't been drinking it at all before so I don't know how much is enough to sway pink?
I have been drinking like 4 big cups (1 cup is about 2,5 dl) a day since December without any problem. The last week I have had stomach problems two or three times though and wondering if it's caused by the coffee and the diet (have been on the LE diet for about 1.5 week).
Does anyone else have these problems? Maybe I drink to much? But how much do I have to drink for a good sway?

It depends on what your diet needs are for the day. There is no one right thing - some days you may need fat, other days you may not have fat to spare. So one day you might want to use ranch, a different day a fat-free vinaigrette. Please use first and foremost what YOU like and that fits in your limits for the day.

Coffee can make your stomach upset but doing it since December and just having problems this week doesn't indicate to me that it's the coffee.
Did you just start taking fiber or magnesium?? Both these can make loose stools as can some artificial sweeteners.

Lexim- my two pennies worth regarding breakfast.
I've never been a breakfast eater and I have a son. I know lots of people with girls who always eat breakfast. Anyway - I'm currently swaying pink and still skipping it because it does seem to get results here! If you struggle maybe have an early dinner so you get a 'big gap' between meals if that makes sense? Blood sugar wise I think the 'no snacking' is much more important than skipping breakfast but this is only my opinion (from 10 years' study as a nutritionist position) as atomic is very much the expert with regards to glucose levels and swaying and has helped me enormously already [emoji7].
FWIW I don't know anyone with girls who snacks or grazes like I do/ did do (healthy snacks or otherwise!) so this is the thing I'm more focussed on.

Remember, on LE Diet you actually have to be careful to get enough potassium. It's the same limits as the mineral diets, but they're doing tons of dairy and get tons of dairy that way. We don't do that and so we have to actually be careful to get enough potassium for our bodies to function.
Most of us have totally given up on sodium restriction and our results have only gone up since we did.

I'm going to push it to at least 8am for breakfast so that's a good 14 hours :)
Although 1-2 nights a week I have ice-cream to up my carbs! The other nights I stick to wine with dinner.
I wake at 5am and do an hour of cardio so I really don't think I can go any later than that at this stage. Will continue to push it out though.
I managed today with no snacking. The only in between thing I had was in between lunch and dinner and that was a coffee with about 50mls of skim milk.
I'm hoping that's ok?
I felt OK. Obviously I'm not used to it and I guess it'll take a little bit of adjustment but I guess the fact that it's not forever keeps me going. I can commit to 12 weeks I think [emoji4][emoji4]

It's fine to flavor food with if you'd like now and then, but it is a concentrated source of nutrients (even tho none are listed on the label, it has other good things in it.)

Intermittent fasting tends to sway pink. So for that reason I would suggest skipping breakfast and getting your calories from lunch and dinner.

Hi there!
New to swaying and I am trying to do the LE Diet but finding it goes against all my previous eating habits and therefore is kind of hard! On day two today but I am sick but I'm still trying! Hoping for some inspiration and help from you ladies :)
Yesterday:
NO breakfast, coffee with 100ml of 1% milk at 8am
Lunch at 12:30pm: ginger pumpkin soup, chobani mango yogurt (probably too high protein to continue so I am looking for another brand)
Snack:4pm I was dying of hunger and ate a green apple with skin (can someone explain why I keep seeing people peeling their apples?), and 3 arrowroot cookies
Snack: 530pm: devoured one corn/rice thing plain, one babybel cheese wheel, 5 Twizzlers while making DS dinner...oops
Dinner: 7:30pm: one piece multigrain bread with a slice of melted cheese, veggie quinoa soup, one pieve multigrain bread with avo and tomato and clinatro on it (realised I needed more fat but had hit my protein limit), one large carrot raw, one glass of rose wine
Total calories: 1582
Fat: 40g
Protein: 49g
Sodium: waaay over: 2466mg- I don't think I can keep tracking this....I love salt
Potassium: 1111mg
I also took two 500mcg folic acid- probably need to add one more each day
Hoping someone has some good meal ideas out there so I am scouring old posts for inspiration! I am thinking veggie stir fry, baked potatoes with cheese, melted cheese sandwich, veggie pizza, lots of veggie soups, pasta with herbs and garlic and parmesan
Are people limiting tomato and garlic and onions? I'm finding it hard to even think of meals without those!

Just making sure you know this - but you don't count ANY protein or fat in fruits or vegetables so you may have more to work with than you think. Low carb veg like fresh tomato and the veg in your soup is free for everything (even cals) so you probably have a bit more you can eat. Higher carb veg like carrot and potatoes and fruit, count calories but not protein or fat.
RE peeling apples, we originally started off thinking that all nutrients swayed blue but have since learned it seems to be more protein, fat, cals, and fortified foods, and apple peel probably makes no difference whatsoever.
no worries on the sodium, most of us have totally given that up and our results only went up when we did.
Potassium - you're probably getting much more than you think, since it doesn't have to be listed legally on labels, it's often left off of them and people are getting much more potassium than they know.
RE tomatoes - no need to limit them, as that is really more of a "mineral diet" thing and not an LE Diet thing. I ate gobs of them when I got my DD.
Re garlic and onions, that is one of those things that I seriously doubt they sway one bit, but since it was possible to leave them out, I did just to err on the side of absolute caution. If you want to eat them that is totally up to you, I ate them!

Question about sodium. From what I've read in previous threads here about diet, those who were high in sodium tend to conceive boys, and those who were low sodium swayed girl. But you're saying higher sodium has been resulting in more girl sways?
I guess I placed too much weight on sodium!Maybe the correlation I picked up on had more to do with protein and fat, as you've mentioned, since high protein and fat is usually accompanied with higher sodium, versus low cal items which have less sodium, and more sugar.

That was the original theory. This doesn't come from this site, it comes from the "mineral balancing" diets. People sometimes mention it (like in the "how we got our boys/girls" threads) because they've heard that is "supposed" to sway pink but the whole idea is biologically impossible. The human body doesn't like or want high sodium or low sodium and takes steps to make sure that sodium stays in a very narrow range, by excreting excess and saving more from foods as needed. We had people do blood tests before and after following low sodium diets and their blood sodium levels had actually gone UP!! Additionally, we know that in people of sub-Saharan African descent, they have a gene that makes them retain much more sodium than other ethnicities and they actually have the highest % girls conceived! The sodium thing just doesn't add up.
When we started on the site I let people keep doing it if they wanted to, but over time most people found it so much easier to stick with the overall diet by giving up sodium, that by this point, most everyone has stopped doing it. And our results have only gone up and up!! (same with blue swayers too, BTW - very few blue swayers are doing the humungo salt intake that they did on other sites and our results are good without it)
Now, I can't say that this is due to eating sodium or not, I'm simply saying that if it was the case that sodium was this huge ginormous sway tactic then we would NOT see, when 98% of all pink swayers are not limiting it and in fact are eating a lot because it makes it easier to stick with LE Diet - that our results would go up in that case!!
Many of us also have low sodium sway opposites and turned around and did NOT limit it and got our girls - like me! I restricted sodium and got a 4th boy, ate tons of it and got a girl. Not saying it's down to that one thing (in fact almost certainly never down to one thing) but just that it's not something I personally believe in, at all! :)

Ladies, I hardly ever read these type of support/sharing threads, just happened to stumble onto a few q's to reply to. PLEASE start new, dedicated threads that I will see in the forums whenever you have questions like this because these kind of threads where everyone shares menus and helps each other are mostly for you guys!! :)

Thought I'd bump this thread and get it going again!!
I started the LE everything diet one week ago! It's hard and I miss snacking as I literally ate every 5 minutes from the second I woke up until bed!
But it's quite nice having the structure and I've even started cooking (partner used to do alllllll the cooking and I would just snack all day until he came home)
So I'm skipping breakfast and having a coffee with a bit of skimmed milk and a bit of artificial sweetener
Breakfast is at 11/11.30 and is either
Bagel with unsalted butter
Bowl of rice puffs with rice milk
Two pieces of white toast with unsalted butter
Always with a piece of fruit like an apple or pear
And another coffee
Lunch is at 2/2.30 and is either
Leftovers from night before
Bagel (if I've had something else for brek)
Salad with tortilla wrap
Those vegetable rice sachets and salad
Two veg patties with salad
One veggie pie (Linda McCarthy)
Always with one or two pieces of fruit
Dinner is either
Roasted veg with veggie sausages, or burgers or veg patties
Salad and tortilla
Veggie quorn bolognase
Veg stew
Massive salad with abit of pasta
Jacket potato with salad
Going to keep trying new veggie recipes and making lots to have next day
Always have a piece of fruit, or handful of jelly beans, also a glass of wine
Thinking I may need to start adding a little cake or weight watchers biscuits to get more calories but no protein!
Anyone else got any suggestions???

Thanks Atomic, sorry I just saw your response.
I'm finding it hard to fit in with my family's foods as we have always eaten high protein and high veg and low carb, so I have basically just been trying to keep my calorie count lower and eat veggie (although I have had a few cheat days with bacon for brunch and cake on my birthday!), skip breakfast, and have two coffees a day and one or two white wines or rose and taking folate. I have lost weight, but not a ton. Will have to figure out how to do more family friendly veggie meals I think.
How are other people doing? Anyone TTC June, July? That is our plan but I feel like I haven't been very committed to the diet...

For breakfast I usually drink hot coffee with a little cream and sugar but since starting my sway I have found it is more filling to drink iced coffee with non-fat milk and most of the time sugar free syrup. Ex. iced coffee with sugar free vanilla and non-fat milk. Is the milk bad for my sway and would that be considered breakfast since it does have calories?

Yesterday I had black coffee (with fiber powder in it... gourmet!) for breakfast. Two 'lite' crispbreads with light cottage cheese, lettuce and carrot for lunch. Chicken rice kebabs for dinner, but I had mostly white rice, carrot and lettuce, with just a sprinkling of chicken and a tiny bit of cheese, and homemade mayo and BBQ sauce. (I also cheated and had offcuts of coffee cake with coffee Swiss meringue buttercream, as I'm testing coffee-cake recipes for my sister's wedding!)
Today I had coffee with skim milk and artificial sweetener for breakfast. Homemade white bread with light cottage cheese, lettuce and carrot for lunch. And dinner will be sausage pasta minestrone, but I'll pick out the sausage and give it to the baby. :p

Is it ok to have very small amounts of lunch so maybe 300-400 cals and then have a big dinner which is like a 1000cal? Or would the body then think times are suddenly good? Anyone know?

I've been having carrot, cucumber & pepper sticks dipped in low fat hummus for lunch sometimes with a couple of crumpets.
Then a substantial tea with small amounts of meat, tonight I had chicken fajitas but only actually had 1 small piece of chicken in each and buckled it up with peppers and onions instead.
Anyone substituting cows milk for soya? Is soya ok for a girl sway as I heard it can alter estrogen? I prefer soya to almond milk.

Feeling a bit down today and could do with some advice.
My other half has started following slimming world to lose a bit of weight and he is doing fantastic! The weight is dropping off him and he is cooking the most delicious meals for us while he tries out all the new recipes. Most of which fit in great with my LE diet (he’s trying lots of veggie recipes just for me, or otherwise it’s easily adaptable for me). And it’s really yummy stuff, I’m so proud of him.
But my problem feels like the STUPIDEST problem ever – I’m losing too much weight too fast. I’m doing good with my protein and fat limits, just about hitting them each day, but my overall calories (especially now I’m doing my 60 mins cardio per day) are just not enough. I’m hitting 1500 most days but the weight is dropping too quickly.
I’m having some wine or beer every night to help my sway and it seems like a good way to bulk up my calories but I am finding I just can’t face more than one drink a night (and I don’t want to have to start boozing loads just to maintain my weight!). Last night I planned some homemade apple crumble and ice cream (within my limits!) to up my calories but we ended up eating late and I just couldn’t face it before bed, so it meant yet another day of not eating enough. The lovely meals he’s making are SO filling but so low calorie!
My BMI has dropped to 19.5 and we’re still a month away from TTC, but I’ve been losing 1.5lbs to 2lbs a week since he started his diet so I need to sort this out fast or I’m gonna ruin my sway completely by having to gain weight to conceive!
Sorry for the rambling post – I’m just feeling really rubbish and emotional. Putting my work clothes on this morning and they just don’t fit and I look awful, like I’m wearing a sack and I just felt horrible and wanted a cry. I know I’m doing it for my sway and I don’t regret that. But there’s just nobody I can talk to about this in real life. I don’t want to discourage my partner because he’s doing so well. Other friends and family don’t know my reasons (I don’t want anyone to know we’re TTC really) and most people around me are TRYING to lose weight, so for me to complain about feeling too thin would be insensitive and mean.
Ugh, all that wasn’t really what I came here to ask!
To get to my actual point! Does anyone have ideas for things I can add to my meals that are high in calories, but still low in protein and fat, and okay for veggies (rules out a lot of sweets)? I hit my limits for protein/fat most days and I’m eating super healthy with loads of veg, but just need more empty calories without drinking loads of wine every night. Most things I think I could add are too high in protein and fat so I would love some advice.
Thanks for any help xx

Today i had only two big meals. Breakfast was black coffee with a bit of artificial sweetener. Lunch was a pretzel with butter and a sanwich with gouda cheese&rucola. Dinner was mached potatoes, broccoli & Parmesan.
Fat 45g, protein 50g, 1500 calories approximately.
Am i in the girl friendly direction? Opinions?

As Atomic mentioned in the post above yours, you are more likely to get advise from her if you post a separate thread.
I'm new to this, but I don't worry about carbs at all. I focus on keeping the correct amount of protein and then use the fats (30% on PCOS LE for me) and carbs (veggies and grains) to make sure I have enough calories. If you are staying under your calories, and having enough protein and fats, your carbs will naturally balance themselves out. I'd ask on a new thread and get an "official" answer though, lol.

I know this is an older post (and ladies, PLEASE don't ask swaying questions in these support threads as they are too confusing to follow whose questions are being answered, not to mention are very time consuming for me to read thru all the support stuff to find individual q's buried in them) but 180 g of carbs is not at all too many carbs - many low carb diets are around 150 g. Most people eating a "normal" diet are in the 300 g carb range or even more. I have a full explanation here in this thread, but suffice to say 180 g carbs is not much at all. https://www.genderdreaming.com/forum/trying-to-conceive-a-girl/80991-le-pcos-diet-whole-grains-brown-rice-high-carb-intake.html?highlight=swaying+PCOS
No one should be tracking carb intake. There is no reason to on LE Diet, and it only causes confusion for people who don't know that carbs are very much more grams in most overall human diets than fat/protein ANYWAY.

We generally don't use soy milk for pink sways as the evidence is mixed how it sways, and I just can't tell either way how it sways.
Rice milk can be ok for some people and not for others - Do you have PCOS, more than 30 lbs to spare, a history of gestational diabetes, or trouble losing weight except on a high protein diet?

I think you should absolutely continue full fat dairy as it's very easy for tall women to stop ovulation. Something in that full fat dairy is super effective at keeping your ovulation going.
There is no reason to cut out dairy totally if you like it. It can be a part of your diet overall as long a s you're within the limits.
You're already below my cutoff of BMI 21 so you need to do whatever it takes to keep weight on. NO more weight loss.
