Last month was a bust (Today is CD1). I had my husband abstain for 10 days prior, we did one attempt 2 days before ovulation. I'm trying to determine our game plan for this month. Is it any more effective to have him release every day for 10 days? We are still going to do one attempt, but I think it will be whenever I get a positive OPK. Any other tips? He took licorice root last month, and I did calcium sand Amy. I was thinking of skipping that this month since I've read it's not always effective.

Two different groups of people do abstain vs daily release and so I can't really compare them across the board like that.
Neither of them have been stunningly impressive in terms of results and both cut odds of conception.
Do whichever of them feels easier to you (or drop it if you prefer and do regular release or "do what he does") the important thing is the one attempt.
I think we had a bad spell check there, do you mean calcium and magnesium?? Follow your gut instinct on that. They were very easy for me to give up after getting boys taking them LOL and I got my girl without them, but some people have a very hard time not trying them. Your call.

Oops. Yes, calcium and magnesium. I'll go ahead and drop if it doesn't make a difference. We have 3 boys already (a single and fraternal twins) so this is our last shot at a girl. I know there's no guarantees but dang, it feels like a lot of rpressure to get the sway right

I personally don't think they work at all (and for some people may even sway blue), it's totally up to you though. :)
It's really hard especially knowing it's the last shot. Just let me know how I can help! :)
