I have read on a couple sites that after a miscarriage there needs to be 20 days without bleeding to count as a true first cycle after miscarriage.
I'm planning on swaying blue as soon as I can. I miscarried at 9 weeks w/o needing a D&C.
I have just finished bleeding from the miscarriage and now feel some ovulation pains.
If that is in fact what I'm feeling then my period would be 12-14 days away.
So my question is, can I ttc next cycle if I don't have a 20 day stretch without bleeding?
Thanks!

Well, just because you feel O pains doesn't mean you're necessarily going to O. I sometimes get them a good week before I O.
That having been said, stranger things have happened, and so if you do O, as long as you have a good bleed, you can probably TTC next month, although it may be a better blue sway if you wait out one more cycle.

I've never heard that about the 20 days. Plus, not only do ovulation pains not mean you're about to (like atomic, I also feel mine about a week or so before I actually do), but there's no guarantee what your period might be like following the miscarriage. Your ovulation could be at a different time for you and your luteal phase would be at a different time. I also think ovulation pains don't feel too dissimilar from early pregnancy stretching, too, so the pains you could be feeling could just be residual cramping from your miscarriage.

I think you're right, not ovulation pains. I had my blood drawn to check my levels and My hcg levels are still in the 300's.
Thank you ladies!!
