I have a fairly extensive history of eating disorders. I'm finally recovered, but am very aware that this will always be an issue with me and relapse is sneaky and can happen at any time. Any kind of dieting is a huge trigger- my last relapse was because I attempted a low fat vegan diet. I now eat to appetite and have been doing okay for almost 2 years. I guess my question is, is lower calories the key to the LE diet? I'm nervous about actively tracking calories because it's so triggering. Is there anything I can do that might take the focus away from calories? I plan on trying to eat more 'empty' calories like white bread, saltines, etc, and less meat. I also plan on drinking more Diet Coke and coffee, because I wasn't drinking any caffeine at all when I conceived my boys. Thoughts?
