I am on the mini pill, and I have 3 pills left in my pack and AF hasn't shown yet and I have noticed breast tenderness. I decided to take a test this morning and I got a super super faint line, like you have to turn and really focus to see it. Obviously I have no idea when I o'ed, if I o'ed. we only had sex 1 time. I can't remember that date it was either January 7th, 8th, or 9th and of course we didn't pull out. I am definitely not going to believe I'm pregnant till get more of a darker line. Has this happened to anyone? I am not sure if I am pregnant or this cycle is just whacky.

The thing to remember is there is a reason they say 99% effective..you could very well be the 1%.

It's possible but not very likely. FX for best possible outcome!!

My understanding is that for some people it's really important to take it at exactly the same time each day, especially for the mini pill since it's a lower dose. Even one or two days where you are out on the time you take it can make your chances of pregnancy increase.

We went to hawaii in December and because of the time difference I didn't take it at my usual time while we were there. I don't know if that could of messed my cycle up or it could of caused me to O and get pregnant. I am supposed to start a new pack sunday. If I don't get AF by then I will test again I suppose.

Well I got a darker test day before yesterday. Took another one this morning and there's barely a line. So I'm thinking I'm having a chemical. Still no at but she'll probably come soon.

Well, at this stage it is possible to dance back and forth with lighter and darker tests.

But yes, that may be one way that the minipill works is by causing chemicals for some pregnancies. It may only prevent O sometimes, and other times it just prevents implantation from occuring.
