Hi Ladies,

Querying the stats on how many months you have been TTC or the stats for how long it took to get pregnant.

We don't have many months at it due to hubbys work and health things coming up would love some encouragement

xx

Hello, I'm swaying boy and we started in June, we have skipped a few months, we are going on our 6th month of ttc.

40yo, TTC for 5m. Got pregnant last month but it was a chemical. I was doing Shettles for a girl for a few months though and the timing was awful... so it's been more like 3 really good months and one of them I did get pg, it just was an early loss.

First son and 4th son, 1 month
2nd son and 3rd son, 2 months
Daughter - 6 months, but we weren't trying very hard and we were 41/42

DS1, 1 month
DS2, 3 months
DS3, 8 months
this child, 11 months. This time around I was breastfeeding (still am!) and started TTCing when he was 4 months old. It could have simply taken so long because of trying so soon and being so depleted in nutrients.

FX and GL to you! Hopefully you will conceive soon!

My boys were both first month back from a chemical, so kind of one month and kind of longer.
I am on month 6 now but started with some stuff that cuts odds of conception and also missed having a good attempt two months, once due to DH's injury and once due to illness.

My older son was an oops, so we weren't trying with him (was charting and underestimated my fertile days). My second son we conceived the first cycle I had my Mirena removed. Fingers crossed that conceiving this next time will be quick as well.

First DS was a surprise. Second DS was three months but the first two months I'd been doing a 4-day cutoff (still believed in shettles). Third pregnancy was our first attempt but unfortunately ended in a loss. Hoping to get another BFP soon.

DD1 fell pregnant at 27 – after 22 months TTC, 1st cycle of clomid worked
Pregnancy #2 when still BFing DD1 at 11 m.o – but miscarried (we were not actively trying but happy to get pregnant whenever my body was ready due to waiting so long for our BFP the 1st time)
DD2 fell pregnant at 29 almost 30 – after 17 m.o without any contraception but actively TTC for about 6 months (post m/c), 1st cycle of clomid again

Now just turned 32 and am TTC #3 and swaying blue!

DD - First month TTC
M/C - Third cycle (3-4 months) after DD. EBF and trying to prevent.
CP - One month of "let's see what happens" after full cycle after m/c

Never temped. Was using OPKs for CP, but they didn't line up with how I got pregnant so... lol

really interesting thread, will add mine, the only time i have used opk's was for my youngest who was a sway baby and im using them again now for swaying :)

DS1 8-9 months of not preventing (surprising since i was only 19 and all my others were conceived quickly!!)

DD1 lost mid pregnancy, conceived 4 months after DS1 was born

DS2 conceived 4/5 weeks after DD born so i guess you could say 1 month ttc?

DS3 conceived 4 months after DS2 born

DS4 conceived 5 months after DS3 born

DD2 conceived 5 months after DS4 born

DD3 our first sway baby, first time using opk's 1 month ttc and conceived 8 months after DD2 born

currently swaying again and preventing pregnancy to build up enough time on diet etc :)

sorry i cant be more specific with exact number of months ttc but we weren't swaying or charting etc and just let it happen when it was meant to happen with the first 6

Do you mind me asking if you were breastfeeding during your conceptions?

Do you mind me asking if you were breastfeeding during your conceptions?

dont mind you asking at all TP :) no i wasnt, i have breastfed all my (living) babies initially but have always switched to formula, i switched to combi feeding at 6 weeks old with my oldest then fully onto bottles at 9 weeks, then with babies 2-5 i switched to bottles between 10-14 days old and my youngest was slightly different in that i combi fed her from the start then switched fully to bottles at 5 days old i think..
