I'm not sure how much info to give.. we are going to start trying for a girl in 3 months. We already have two amazing little boys.

My BMI is about 20-21 at the moment. I have finished breastfeeding and am having a regular cycle.

I have tested my PH and it seems to be about 5-6.

I have started a vegetarian diet and am struggling to know how to monitor my nutrient intake with everything else.

I am taking folate, I had bought cranberry but thinking I'll give this to DH instead?

I have ovulation strips, PH strips and a BBT on its way.

I will do the lime tampon when trying and am unsure whether to do the sex every day leading up to 3 days before ovulation, or no sex until 3 days (I think we would struggle with nothing!!).

I need to look more into refresh etc.

Oh and I'm from Australia! With our precious pregnancies we have fallen pregnant almost straight away and we are you, 26 and 25.

Need any more info?

Thanks! Xx

We don't usually mess with pH here. Many of us have had pH opposites and it just doesn't seem to work for us. So not measuring and not doing lime tampons.

Vegetarian is a good start, but you'll want to be watching your totals. Calories, protein, and fat. The easiest way to do that is to plug everything you're eating into a tracker like My Fitness Pal. Also suggested is 2-3 meals a day instead of snacking constantly, and trying to skip or delay breakfast to have one longer period of low blood sugar.

I didn't do cranberry for either so I'll leave that for someone else to answer.

One attempt seems to be working really well for pink. 3 attempts is what most of the blue swayers are shooting for- I would absolutely not do 3 attempts. We also don't tend to try for cutoffs, just that one attempt.

Other things that seem to be working here are exercise (cardiovascular, 60 min 4-6 times a week), alcohol, coffee, and fibre supplements. Obviously some of those things might not be right for you, but they're worth reading about.

The one attempt, because I was so confused when I heard that, is to have intercourse once you have a positive opk. If you don't want to use opks, then you can do every four days of intercourse after period ends. So say your period ended today. Then you would count four days and then have intercourse on the fourth day after and follow that pattern until you get a bfp or your period comes. Today's the 4, so you would follow with intercourse on the 8,12,16, 20 and so on.

Hi laurel, thanks for patience.

No more weight loss, just try to hold steady where you are and then if any weight sneaks off in the meantime it won't be a dealbreaker

:agree: I'd give the cran to your DH instead.

While I don't recommend lime tampons, I do have a write up on how to use them safely here: http://genderdreaming.com/forum/showthread.php?866-Guide-to-Douching-TTC-Pink

I personally suggest DTD with protection (if you don't want to do abstain, I mean) and then having one unprotected attempt in your fertile window sometime between O-3 and O Day. I do not and never will recommend lots of attempts since our results have shown one attempt in fertile window sways pink.

If you're doing lime tampon you can't do RepH. with that anyway. I'd leave jellies alone when doing lime tampon.

Thanks so much. All really helpful! I'm just overwhelmed with info.

Ok good to know about lime. Do you recommend repH more then?

I read through the girl library but it's hard to know what to do and not do

Our results have shown RepHresh doesn't seem to do a whole lot.

The pH stuff is kind of falling by the wayside lately, so many of us got opposites with it that it's easy for us to give up on. Some people, who haven't tried it, may believe in it more strongly and in that case I think RepH. is a good option. It may not sway pink very much, but it doesn't sway blue, and at the least it's not so "control-freaky" that it undermines your sway by making you crazy like the lime douches seem to do to people. Something about doing super involved projects with lots of little details may sway blue for some people so I just prefer you guys avoid them if poss.

If you do want to douche I prefer you guys use a storebought one to avoid that "control freak" stuff in which case you could do a regular store brand vinegar and water douche.

Thanks! So out of the list of the girl library.. what are the really important ones to focus on then? I haven't found that post yet if there is one. And I read somewhere about Dream membership etc. how do I join?

Is it cranberry tablets you give to DH? Do I just buy them from a chemist ?

The things that have really truly seemed to work are:

LE Diet longer than 12 weeks plus coffee, alcohol, fiber and using vegetable oil instead of animal fat
Cardio exercise 60 min a day 6-7 days a week (altho some have done 4-5 days and still had success)
Clomid if you can get it (or Femara)
Smoking for DH (obviously not great for health tho)
Jogging or biking for DH
One attempt or every 4 day method

Things that may help but not totally sure:
OLE for DH
Jump and Dump
Soy for DH

The rest of it seems to be just getting in the way of conception.

Olive Leaf Extract. Some use it instead of cranberry (don't use both)
