Ultrasound tomorrow 15+3

So I am having an ultrasound tomorrow and I will be 15+3. Is that accuracte for a potty shot or nub?

Thank you- that means a lot to me! I'm doing ok. I seem to be getting a much needed break from horrid morning sickness! We will see if it lasts, haha! I find out in 2 weeks the status of a second sac seen at my 8 week scan. It's likely it is a vanishing twin. I'm ok, but I would like to know for sure to either begin preparing for 2 or to heal and begin to move on.

I'm excited to learn what you are having! It's so amazing you got pregnant so easily after the long road you endured when you conceived your DD!

Oh wow, 2 sacs!! That is pretty amazing. May God's will be done, as it always is. I will pray you get some definite answers as well. Morning sickness has almost subsided a bit for me, this time has been brutal.. Probably harder breastfeeding a no sleeping 8 Month old too...Lol Hopefully yours will subside as well. I know, I honestly am so very amazed by this unexpected blessing and still can't believe it every time I hear that little heartbeat. I'll update when I know and will have to continue to follow your journey.. xoxo

This was the most confusing ultrasound I have ever had. OK have a few pic, pretty sure it's a boy. I hate that I feel disappointed that my daughter won't have a sister.3521435215

Wow! Potty shot in one image looks like a girl, but the rest look like a boy to me. I'm hoping it's a girl with swollen girlie parts.

So did the tech say girl? Was this a private scan or taken at a hospital?

My next scan is in about 2.5 weeks when I'll be 12w6d. All of my boys had a clear scrotum and penis at this gestation and were measuring anywhere from 1-2 weeks ahead. So far, this bean is measuring exactly as it should according to when I ovulated.

Sorry you had such a confusing scan! The 2nd to last one you posted does look like a boy.

Did you get any video? When I had my 15 week scan I could look back at the video of the potty shots where she moves around to show no boy bits (although I still worried they were hiding somewhere!).

It looks like your friend needs to get a bit more experience if she is going to offer this service as it is not fair to confuse women and she should be more confident if giving a gender guess.

I still think its the cord she is capturing, it's too thick at the top to be a penis and that last shot is definitely girlie x

Thanks for all your comments. I'm just super confused but I think it must be a boy. The whole time she kept saying it's definitely a girl and then the last 5 minutes is when we saw something else so things changed. We were not trying and were blessed with this baby so I will be happy with whatever gender it is, especially after trying for 2 years with my last baby. I guess I'll find out soon enough at the 20 week scan. I have to stop making myself crazy.

To be totally honest, and absolutely no offense meant, I'm not totally convinced your friend is quite experienced enough and it is really really easy to get ultrasound shots where one thing looks like another. I can see why you would think that looks boy, but at the same time, by 15 weeks usually ding-dongs are pretty obvious and getting practically through the entire ultrasound thinking it's a girl only to find a penis at the very end - I'm sorry I'm just not totally convinced, especially since some of the pics did look girly.

Again, I don't say that to give you false hope at all, just that I wouldn't say either way based on all this and I'm still 50-50. I think it's just as plausible she zoomed in too high and captured cord on the "boy" pics as it is that she zoomed out too far and didn't capture the penis. 50-50 from me.

I had a younger brother and we were like two peas in a pod, as are my two youngest (boy and girl), they are very cute together and are always cuddling and kissing (and sometimes arguing LOL). Awe that is so sweet to hear Claire, thank you! I am sure they will love each other and be super close as they will only be 14 months apart. I think it just took me by surprise when she kept saying girl for almost an hour then everything changed. I adore my boys and I will adore this baby too, no matter what! And I am sure it will make my relationship with my daughter that more special! She will be lucky to have an army protecting her! LOL

I just don't​like being in limbo but I'll find out soon. I showed my midwife and she showed her u/s and said it that it could be the cord in a weird position but every time I see the pic it looks like a pee pee to. We are happy either way though, but anxious to find out!!!

We had exactly the same thing happen for our second son. It looked like a girl so much, but a second ultrasound showed it was actually a boy. Must have been how the photo was taken. She will love being your little princess x

Thanks everyone! Believe me, I feel so blessed to have another child, especially with it being a surprise!! I'm just having such a hard time parting with my baby girl stuff. I wouldn't exactly say GD but a little sad.....Idk why and I don't like feeling this way :(. It has just been an unexpected feeling and I keep thinking about my DD not having a sister and it's such a joy to have a little girl
My boys have such an awesome Bond as well.
