I'm not sure if I've ovulated! :(
I usually ovulate day 14 (I'm on a 28 day cycle) amd started testing day 10 have had negative 'clearblue' since then and have had flashing smiley for four days now. I don't have much cm quite dry but occasional egg white and cervix is high and soft temp is around 36.4 have been waiting for positive opk and so worried I have missed ovulation this is so strange! Is day 16 tomorrow can ovulation be delayed for any reason? I have gone through so many tests!

Yes, O can be delayed. You can also have many days of flashing before smiley, or have ovulation occur and then the tests don't detect it.

I would have attempt now and then every 4 days (or when you get positive)

If my cm changes should I assume ovulation was not detected? I did tests since cd10 it's doing my head in!

When you get a positive opk, you typically ovulate anywhere from 12-48 hours afterward. How quickly your opks go negative only measures how long your LH surge was, not when you will actually ovulate. BDing when your DH gets home may be enough time to catch the egg.
FX you catch the egg!

Neither CM nor CP can completely predict if O occured or not, because when O is delayed sometimes you'll revert back to "non-fertile" CM and CP only to have it change again when you actually O.
:agree: with XX - since you'll O somewhere 8-48 hours after that first positive (average 24-36 hours) you still have time. :)

:tissue:I'm so upset, hubbys work ruins everything :( He was delayed and isn't back until today 2pm (around 38 hours after positive opk :tissue: Is there a chance at all? I know prob not but is it worth DTD anyway as soon as he gets home in case? I've been crying all day!

It certainly can't hurt anything to try!

Yes, there is always a chance and you should ALWAYS try. Even if you think there's no shot, O can be delayed and if you don't try, there is zero chance.
