DH and I wanted to start TTC next month, and I really want to sway for a little girl. Is it too late to start swaying?

There is always a chance for a girl but it also depends on how quickly you was to ttc. My understanding is the diet is best on for 12 weeks for a girl. However 1 attempt at +opk is also girl friendly so that can be easily incorporate.

While we do see best results with 12 weeks or more on diet, what many choose to do is start off with a very strict sway (like with a long cutoff, douche or jelly, antihistamine, frequency for DH) and then just assume that you won't get pregnant that first month.

the most important thing to do when doing a "quickie" sway is to start off with one attempt. For reasons we can only guess at, one attempt has been a good sway tactic for us.

Thank you so much for your response!!! Sorry for my ignorance, what do you mean by "one attempt has been a good sway tactic?" Is that in reference to the timing? I've been reading through all of your posts and threads, it's just a lot of info to absorb.

It's not timing, it is actually only having sex one time in your fertile window O-3 thru O Day. For reasons that none of us know, one attempt has gotten really good results for us.

Looks like I may not get a chance to sway. Got a faint BFP this morning. We DTD only on February 26th and I got my first positive OPK on the 28th (AM). We also did J&D immediately after.

Guess I'll have to wait a while before finding anything out. :think:
Wonder if any of this was enough to sway for my little girl?

Congratulations on your bfp. Hope this bean is sticky. Sounds like you did end up with one attempt. Sending you pink dust.

Huge congrats!! You ALWAYS have a chance of a girl no matter what. Even people swaying blue get girls sometimes.
