I have a question on how to take vitex while breastfeeding? I know it was mentioned that you should take it from af-o but what if you havent had af since you gave birth and are breastfeeding how would you take it then? Also would you recommend to try and get af back on your own by stopping night time feedings and once its back you use vitex and stop the month before you ttc? If its done that way will the month you ttc cycle be irregular?

How old is your baby?

Im due next month. Im probably jumping the gun since my baby isnt here yet but I just wanted to be prepared for when I actually do start swaying so im not overly stressed trying to figure out how to do things. Im still learning things along the way and each new thing makes me nervous that im going to do something wrong when i do try.

I wouldn't even consider it till the baby is 9 months or older.

Vitex has caused SOOO much trouble. My inclination is to have people stop night feeds first, because the vitex has been so hit and miss.

Okay sounds good. I was just wondering because a lot of people seemed to use it and got girls from it so i figured it would help in the sway.

Also would you recommend using it when trying to sway for a girl?

I do believe it sways pink based on the biology of how it works) but our results have been pretty mediocre at best (actually LOWER by about 10% than the overall results of the site).

I used it twice, got a boy and a girl.

The downside of vitex, of course, is that it causes so much trouble for people!! If it wasn't that, I'd probably be still experimenting with it more, but it really has seemed to muck up cycles - made O very irregular, caused some short LP possibly for people...it's totally up to you, of course, but I'm using it less and less and our results have stayed good even without it!
