Hello

In your spreadsheet you have great results for CFR. I was just wondering if that is done over ovulation or with a cut off? I would imagine that it would be quite hard falling pregnant doing a CFR 3-4 days from ovulation. Anyways I would love to hear what the CFR people are doing.

Thanks :)

No one is doing it. It's just a quirk of the statistics.

One attempt (while it's a bit lower right now) has come in at a solid 70-75% range for YEARS with a sample size of nearly 200 people. CFR is always done with one attempt and has a sample size of 23. So it is almost certainly the one attempt that is swaying and not the CFR. A couple of lucky sways turns the 78% of CFR into 70%. Additionally, most of the people who tried it could not stick with it, and many others who stuck with it, could not get pregnant that way. Additionally additionally, a lot of the people who say they did CFR, I have come to find out over time, did not really do it but did some other thing instead so we don't even KNOW how many of those people even did CFR!

IF you want to do CFR it HAS TO BE 2-3 releases for 2-3 days and then have the attempt either the first or second release of the day. If you don't do it that way, it's not CFR, it's some other thing (I mean there are limitless patterns) Most guys can't manage to do that plus it's really stressful and husbands hate it, too.

RE timing, it's been debunked. If you want to do it, that's totally up to you, no longer than 3-4 days before O, and yeah I'd not tack a CFR onto that but it's up to you, if you want to try it. Just be sure you're dropping the CFR and the timing BEFORE you're adding a bunch of attempts. We found that number of attempts worked the best, and when we kept frequency and timing, and added attempts, it was our lowest results of the site.

Thanks for getting back to me. This stuff confuses me so much but I really want to give it a go. So I won't be doing CFR I'll just do the one attempt. Thanks again for clearing that up :)
