I'm ready for this nausea to go away.. trying to eat healthy but I'm getting less calories now so I get nauseous easier and I'm gagging more! 15 weeks today and it's still lingering! /:

With DD it went away around 16 weeks so hopefully this is the same!

XX Can we have a list of members, their sway and Due Dates in the first post of these threads? It would help remember everyone. And since you started the new thread, you would have to do it I believe.

That's a good idea .... I didn't sway as I'm to crap with diets etc but we were loosely doing shuttles method since mc last August, it took ages seems I usually fall in first month. We were taking the if it happens it happens approach as tbh as much as I want a girl we are a fit squashed in a 3 bed ..... looks like we will have to sleep in living room lol

There is hope, at 13 weeks I'm finally feeling almost no nausea and can eat lots of the foods I was repulsed by just weeks ago. I'm not 100% but still, much better.

Hang on ladies!

Sure. I'll work on it over the next couple of days. I'll make a list of everyone, but I'll need people to remind me what they swayed for and their DD (I use tapatalk and can't see anyone's tickers).

Swayed pink- Due November 10.

My nausea is suddenly way more manageable and I haven't thrown up in days. I've never had it be so mild so early (9 weeks), so it's almost enough to scare me. It was bad, worse than this, until 14 weeks with DS2 and I had HG right into the delivery room with DS1.

I'm going nuts with finding a boys name! My DH has gotten really weird and frustrating about his name suggestions this time around and it's making it impossible to even discuss boys names because his suggestions are so terrible.

I'm starting to feel better. Every so few days I'll feel yucky but the last few days have been a whole lot better. 12 weeks, but still makes me nervous.
All of you girl swayers complaining of indigestion I think that's a good sign! That's all I really had with my girls... I was so hungry it made me nauseas, and I always had this empty stomach feeling from acid reflux... both were girls so fingers crossed for you all!! Give me your blue dust lol

Hi again, it's been a month that I haven't been on the site. It's just that I hated to see so many people get their desired gender and I don't :( and besides the GD, this pregnancy isn't easy because I'm reliving everything from last year, except this will be a boy and not a girl :(
I just want something to hold on to, so if people from Europe had good experiences with HT, please share. I just can't live with the fact I wont' have a daughter to take care of. Especially since I had one, only for 7 months unfortunately...

Btw XXforHubby, congratulations on your DD, I'm really glad for you!

Hello all,
Wow 3rd thread already! Thanks for doing a DDL XX... that will help to keep up with things. I am due the 18th of Nov according to O. Also we are going team green for this last baby. Hopefully I can stick to it cause I really want to!
But as for me, I'm still hanging around slowly trying to feel normal again! I had a few really good days but today feels back to feeling like crap. How can one feel hungry and nauseous at the same time? Ugh. I'm about 8 weeks... this seems very slow. Still waiting on my first appointment. I feel like some of yalls pregnancies are flying by and I have the old slow moving turtle pregnancy...

I'm with you! Nauseous and hungry at the same time! How the heck is that? I was nauseous with my boys but it took my appetite away. This pregnancy is definitely different in that aspect. I want to think that some days are a little bit better now that I'm approaching 11 weeks but I still have bad days.
I eat small amounts frequently. Eating takes the hunger away for a bit but the nausea almost gets worse after eating. It's definitely worse after dinner. From about 5-6pm on I'm a miserable human.
I hope your pregnancy speeds up!

Unfortunately they measured baby's heart rate to be on the higher side... 170 the student said, but she was counting so I'm thinking she could have been a little off lol. Any boy moms have higher heart rates early on?!! I'm trying not to believe the silly wives tales but when they point opposite gender it can be tough. Hello hello....

I *think* I feel a bit better these days, although today was one of the not so great days. I started craving jasmine tea and before I couldn't stomach the thought of anything hot to drink. Funny because I haven't had jasmine tea in so many years, I used to only drink it when I ate at a chinese restaurant. I have also been craving ramen every day so I make some at home daily with lots of veggies (finally veggies!).I have been able to skip naps every couple of days as well, so energy is slowly coming back. I can definitely feel flutters, but today it has been quiet in there and it has me a bit concerned.

I was woken up by a pretty serious, what I can only describe as a contraction this afternoon. My entire lower back felt like a massive menstrual cramp, but the uterus didn't harden so I dunno. It woke me up from my nap. It has happened about 3 other times in the last 3 weeks. Is this some sort of expansion pain? LOL Maybe the baby is growing towards my back and not so much outwards. It would explain why I can still sleep on my tummy. With DD I had to stop at about 8 weeks or so. I stuck out so far with her it was insane.

My first MW appointment is next week. Im quite nervous about the heartbeat u_u what if all I have been feeling is just gas?

XX, thank you for the list. I'll get back to you on my due date. I haven't decided yet haha! It's the last week of October sometime.

XXforhubby

No worries Cosmosis! Just let me know when you know [emoji6].

I'm sure it's just growing pains. I get what you describe and it's referred pain to my back, because I have a retroverted uterus. I don't feel anything in the front for growing pains until I am much further along.

FX for a nice, strong heartbeat next week!!

Yes itchy boobs and belly every now and again, I have dry skin anyway so hard to tell. I shaved my legs 4 days ago and their still stubbly not much growth so hopefully this is a girl sign (all my friends who have girls have had this). I wouldn't have allot of growth normally anyway so don't know if this means anything.

I hate old wives tales they have tricked me a lot before. I've had four boys and Carried differently with two of them, one had high heart rate, one I had obstetric cholestasis and another I had pupps. I had bad sickness with my second yet not the others.

Anyone wanna help a momma out???

I got a tiny red bump on my hand like two weeks ago. And it has slowly spread down my hand toward my wrist. They don't really feel like anything. I've just never experienced this. I don't have sensitive skin in any way nor do I have allergies. So I'm sure it's hormonal.. anyone else deal with this?

Called my nurse and I'm waiting for a call back.

Hmm. I'm glad you are getting it checked out. I had these with my DS2 and DS3, but they were on my belly and legs. They are called spider angiomas (It's not a serious condition) and are due to the increase in blood flow and estrogen. They typically don't itch and can be seen on hands, abdomen, and legs. If they do it may be urticaria, which can also occur in pregnancy.

I'm kind of frustrated I called and my doctor called back and said it's probably just cherry hemangioma... nothing to worry about.

Idk about you but this looks nothing like that. I know what a cherry hemangioma is.. so I called my regular practitioner for a second opinion.

Thanks for putting that list up XX! It's nice to see how many of us are now in this DDG!!
I technically didn't sway for a girl (pregnancy was a complete surprise!!) so perhaps we could change my info to 'hoping' instead?

At the risk of sounding silly..can anyone direct me how to add an ultrasound pic for you ladies to take a look at? The pic was taken on my phone and i'm not sure how to attach it!

All of my boys were 130s at their first U/S. The triplets DS was 130s and the girls were 140s. This one was 174! That is crazy high to me, but I will take it. :)

Yesterday was pretty bad for me (nausea, indigestion, and constipation) but today has been relatively nice. I did have a little nausea when I woke up this morning and little bit when I picked the boys up from school and got them some Taco Bell (I love tacos but the smell today was kinda off putting) but other than that I've been good today just tired and I'm definitely taking a nap when I get off work because there's no soccer practice today. YAY!!

Also, has anyone experienced an aversion to water? Right now I hate it especially if I'm not eating anything while I'm drinking it. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do get my water intake?

Can you not use squash in water?
I've also been constipated [emoji15] think the hormones just slow everything down!
I wish I could take naps but with 3 young boys running everywhere it's not even worth thinking about lol

I'm sorry you can't get a nap in LadyT the only reason I can take a nap is because my mom moved downstairs and when she's around the boys don't pay me any attention so that gives at least an hour to take a nap before I have to get them ready for bed even though they stay up for another hour or so after I get them ready lol. Plus I don't have to cook because we are having leftover lasagna.

I really don't like squash I thought about putting pineapples and strawberries in there but who knows if I'll even like that

Yes. I'm getting sick of water myself. I've been drinking G2 Gatorade as a water substitute once a day. Seems to help a bit. I am finding it hard to get my fluid intake to a normal level.

I get naps daily thank godness. It's just bc my daughter naps still and my boys are in school. I am greatful bc I am so tired.

Good morning everyone. I had a wonderful meeting last night with a group of Midwives. They do a meet and greet and a tour of the hospital. I have never had a Midwife before, but wanted to use one since my Dr left and this group is through my insurance. Even though this will be my 5th baby at the same hospital, we have never done a tour and it was great. It was a lot of fun and the boys were a bit confused. We have not told them yet since we plan to tell my MIL on Sunday when we have Easter dinner and we know the kids would spill the beans before our surprise. :)
We put a saying in an egg for her. It was real cute.
"Here comes Peter Cotton tail
Hopping down the bunny trail
Hippity hoppity,
A BABY's on it's wayyyy.
We don;t know if it's a girl or boy,
But we're all hopping with joy,
and we thought we'd share our news todayyyy."

Roe - I can't wait to find out your results.
Lady - I don't get a boy or girl vibe from the pic - it is just a cute cute little baby there! HUGS
amellia - HUGS - sorry you are getting a boy vibe. Hoping that you are wrong.
It is so exciting that we are getting gender confirmations soon!!! Woo hoo and praying that we all get our hearts desire.

Amelia, I'm not sold either way on your pics. The first one gives me very slight girl vibes, and the second two could be a portion of the leg.

Ladytara, no reliable gender clues at this age but very cute baby. We're due almost exactly the same time so it's a fun reminder of what's going on in there. They change so fast in the first trimester!

Oh the headaches. That's the only real difference between this pregnancy and my previous ones. I've never had a migraine during pregnancy before, and they seem to be tapering off but I've had half a dozen bad ones so far, and a few that happened on the weekend and I was able to get back in bed in a quiet dark room fast enough they didn't get really bad.

It must be me over thinking what I see mainly the skull I've been comparing
I've had all girl vibes with this one other than the ramzi rubbish lol until today I just felt it wasn't delicate enough for a girl ha
My friend told me she's had many mc's and always been from left ovary ovulation. She later went on to have a girl and then a boy both from the right ovary. Throws ramzi out !!!!!

Ladytara that was me with my 1st scan, so upset leaving was thinking definitely boy! Anyway I've posted my pic in the ultrasound forum so I'll wait and see what comes back. Going to get a gender scan in two weeks. My scan pics are so annoying because it looks like a girl nub in one pic and boy in the other .. stressedout.com

That's a good idea to go for a gender scan. At 16 weeks it will be a great chance at seeing the gender.

I'm planning to do a gender scan at 16 weeks. Provided we get a good look, we'll tell our boys and close friends/family then and wait until after the anatomy scan to announce publicly.

Anyone who still hasn't started telling people? I'm hoping to hold out on telling family until we know the sex. A few friends know, but no one else.

I have told one really close friend because she just wen through a rough mc at 12w in Jan and has been ttc since and I needed advice on my bleed scare. I told my boss today and it was funny, he already knew I was pg. ha ha ha This is the third time I have been pregnant while working for him. He knows me too well. :) We plan to tell our parents on Easter. And the kids once the Grandparents know. But other than that, DH has told a few friends, but I have no desire to tell anyone. I am dreading the comments from everyone since this is #5. They already are teasing my that it is about time I am pg again at work since my little one is 21 months old. UGH. I will just let them guess. I do have to tell my co-worker at some time since I work in the same room as her and we are in very tight quarters. Just sucks because my boss made me feel like I get special privileges because I I having kids and she doesn't. But it was her choice to not have kids and now she is older and that is not my problem. But of course when I am on maternity leave, she will have to pick up the slack of me being gone. Oh well, nothing I can do about that.

Then I play on telling the rest of the family at Easter dinner. I'm going to make baskets for our mothers and put the US pic in a chick shaped Easter egg. Toe you are doing amazing!! Your positive attitude it setting the tone for the rest of the group who might not hear their DG. So way to go!! You are amazing!! Know we are here for you in any and all ways. Praise God for a healthy miracle!!! My friend loves C names with her boys. I know you aren't set on it but her boys' names are really unique and all places in Ireland. They are pregnant with their 4th, a surprise, so I can't wait to hear their name... Cashel "Cash", Camper and Corban.
Today we finally told our family! They are excited. Shared our photos from decorating eggs with the girls and among the pics was this...
feels so good to have shared.

I agree it's telling people and seeing their reaction that hurts more than having another boy personally. I just don't know where all my hope has gone ☹️

Ugh. There isn't anything worse then family and friends confirming your worst nightmare that you're unborn child should already be mixed with disappointment! I mean, in the grand scheme of things the gender really doesn't effect them that greatly, nothing like it will the parents. (If it really should affect even us is up for debate in my mind 24/7) [emoji38]

But anyway, I remember the expression on my MILs face when she opened her gift with the blue, signifying her grandchild would be a boy. I expected her to be thrilled. Her expression read: yeah, been there done that."
She has 2 boys only herself.
It only confirmed my depression and anguish. Not to mention then her other son's wife then immediately got pregnant and ONLY would hear of it being a girl and viola, that's what she gets. And the way our MIL favors her is crushing.
Anyway, now I'm just ranting. My point is I wish family would just smile and keep those thought private. When my friends or family announce their 4th or 5th boy or whatever, I treat it the exact same way as any other blessing. My feelings shouldn't matter.

Rant over.
I pray I can deal with this better this time around.

I couldn't agree with you more, Wantanother! Since when did having a baby become anything other than a blessing? I remember announcing that we were having DS3, and that he was a he (we found out early with MaterniT21). Most family member laughed or made comments about us only making boys. You could see the sting of their comments in my DH's eyes. I always followed up with how excited we were, which caused people to stop with their comments. It would infuriate me if people treated my boys differently. I would have to keep visits supervised only and leave if I felt the person was going too far.

I hope and pray that this time will be different for you. GD is hard enough without family and friends fueling it. 🤞🏻[emoji1317][emoji175]

I've announced to a few nearest and dearest recently and the comments came rolling in just as I'd expected them to...sigh. I feel like I wanted a girl because I felt pressured that I should have one as daft as that sounds...in the grand scheme of things now that I've unexpectedly become pregnant I realise that as much as I'd like a daughter I wouldn't mind another son either...but people don't seem able to grasp that and so the gender comments keep rolling in!

Hey everyone,
Sorry I haven't been on here in a few weeks. I've been feeling pretty down lately. Having a hard time getting excited for this pregnancy because i don't really "feel" pregnant a lot of the time, and I'm still worried I will miscarry. I am also convinced we're having our third boy, although I know I'm being silly as I have no way to know this yet. I thought I didn't care that much about gender anymore, but I just feel like I'm in a mental rut now for some reason. Actually, it kind of makes me feel better to see that a lot of you have posted about feeling the same way (not that I want anyone to feel this way, but at least it means I'm not crazy).

Shanshaff, I'm so glad to see you saw a heartbeat and everything is ok! I was wondering if there had been an update from you since I last checked in. Roe, sorry you didn't hear pink. XX, huge belated congrats, although it sounded like it was practically a sure thing since that nub shot. :)

My fear exactly and it's happened for my last 3 out of 4 pregnancies!

On a different subject I've noticed my hair is still coming out after shower/brushing!!! Pregnancy usually stops all hair falling out I recall. I'm a little worried I think I will get my thyroid checked again as I'm hypothyroid but wanted to know if anyone else here has same symptom? I'm now 10 weeks 4 days

My families comments were
"Wow 4 kids.. wow" and "what are you hoping for this time?".

Yes thank you ... I know I am a crazy woman for having more than the "2" kid norm.
And we are hoping for a healthy baby to complete our family!
Although they were all happy for us.. the comments are hard.

I dread announcing on social media now bc of the back lash I'll get for the amount of kids we have.
But having said that.. I love the idea of a big family. I'll have the big kids and the little kids. I am beyond excited for this journey of mine.

So question... did you guys do the harmony testing or panorama? I have both options here. Harmony is $50 cheaper but I'll have to drive out if town to another city for it. Curious if they are all the same turn around time and how the results are delivered? I am not going to my general Dr as I am with a fertility clinic and then with a midwife come may... who gets the results? Do they phone me with them? Do they ask me who to report results to when I go in to lan for blood work?

Sorry for so many questions just trying to figure it out

In U.K harmony from 10 weeks with 3-5 day turn around and panorama from 9 weeks up to 10 days turnaround. I think panorama go to us for lab work. I think I googled and there's quite a few comparison tables that show difference in all genetic testing!
I went to private clinic who get the results and she said she will ring when they are back I'm assuming she will give me info over phone but I will request an email of report.

How can you tell if your thyroid is low? Like are their symptoms?

My OB mentioned this when I asked about my daily headaches. Is there another sign?

Well I was diagnosed hypothyroid after my 3 rd pregnancy I was suffering weight gain, tiredness, dry skin, hardened souls, dry brittle hair and hair loss, thinning eyebrows, achy muscles and general bleh! Some people have enlarged thyroid gland which is centred bottom of throat and shaped like a butterfly.

I mentioned it earlier and think I will get a check up as it's all hormones that the thyroid produces so obviously pregnancy can effect it.

I just noticed my hair still coming away in shower of which is normal for me but not when I'm pregnant I never see any come away!!!!

I told over and over again there is just one baby lol! My youngest brother was a little upset that I didn't tell him before and I told him to get over it. DS1 was excited and DS2 was more concerned about who was going open his Easter egg haha but I still don't think they grasp the concept yet I guess they will when my belly gets bigger. I also announced it to my co-workers this morning with doughnuts. Here's a pic:

Thank you KC!!
I didn't post a sway mainly because there wasn't much of a sway to post! I only found this site the week of our attempt. My diet is VERY boy friendly! I always eat breakfast, I eat every 3-4 hours, about 100-120g protein per day, low carbs. I exercise daily but mostly lifting weights with maybe a day of cardio per week. I also take a multi vitamin, vitamin D and magnesium daily.
I used the sway tactics that I could implement last minute. One attempt in fertile window which just happened to be at O-3, jump and dump after about 3 minutes, missionary. There hasn't been a girl in hubby's family in over 18 years!

Hubby eats exactly like I do. Small frequent meals and tons of protein. He's pretty into fitness.
I really am content with this sweet baby boy that I am growing. However, I can't help but wonder consider some of my "girl symptoms." I also had a miscarriage back in October 2016 at 12 weeks (didn't know gender). I read where a girl had NIPT and confirmed boy but it was actually "left over" Y chromosome still in her blood from her previous pregnancy and miscarriage. Is that even possible? I am obviously not getting my hopes up and know that there is less than 0.0001% chance of this ever happening but you can't help but wonder.

I was exactly like you when I was carrying my ds4 always in that doubt and hope. I went for early gender scan and she said 'I can see a winky ' but didn't show me. So I literally convinced myself that she didn't know what she was doing and prompted for a re scan. Low and behold it was a boy. Then the rest of the pregnancy I just accepted I would do ht and I spent my days researching etc. And looking back I was still buying neutral colours [emoji849] and made out I was team green to everyone!!!! Once he was born I was in love, busy being a loving mother to my baby boy! I then gradually forgot about ht and life carried on until my niece fell pregnant and announced she was having a princess and I've been 'jealous' ever since!!!!! Here I am preggers again and obsessing again!!!! I wish there was a cure for gd other than having a hundred babies lol

I don't think so. I had a miscarriage in December 2014, and I got pregnant with my DS3 in February. I let them know, and they said that the only thing that would impact the results would be having a Vanishing twin or twins. With MaterniT21 Plus test that I had this time,it can detect gender with above 99% accuracy even with Vanishing twin or twins.

I really don't think I feel disappointed. I just read that and was shocked! This girl posted her boy results and then once she delivered posted pictures of a baby girl! In my head I'm thinking, this is DNA it can't really be wrong?!

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

That is baffling and I'm sure I've read that old DNA can be floating around but I think that was before they could test twin pregnancies maybe ???????

It's strange it's not that the feeling is disappointment it's more for me about will I ever have a girl and a bit like grieving for a girl I haven't had!!!!

I have it in my gut that I'm going to hear boy this week, I've been acting it out in my head, practicing my reaction

I've always had first trimester fatigue, but the last couple of days have been absolutely unreal. The only thing I can relate it to is recovering from a bad flu. I slept at least 11 hours last night and have fallen asleep three times today unintentionally, twice sitting up. I feel slow, like it's taking longer for me to react to things and understand what the kids are saying. I'm not even sure I could safely drive right now. I have never felt like this. I'll mention it to the doctor and see if he wants to do more bloodwork, but anyone else have this experience? I was super tired with DS1, slept probably 12 hours a day, but I was never groggy and overly tired during the day like this.

Hopefully it's just pregnancy fatigue. I think it's a good idea to mention it, just in case. I hope it goes away soon! I was really tired two weeks ago- I think the baby was going through a growth spurt. I wonder if that could be going on with you now.

How can you tell if your thyroid is low? Like are their symptoms?

My OB mentioned this when I asked about my daily headaches. Is there another sign?

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I actually had no symptoms. I mean I was tired but not any more than from what I expected from being in first trimester. The only way we knew with both my second born and this baby was from my blood work. If you've had all of your booodwork done check and see if this was amongst the testing. Hope that helps!

Had bloodwork at 10 weeks! I've just been dealing with horrible headaches and exhaustion beyond words. Never experienced either with my daughter. But maybe this is totally normal and I just got lucky my first pregnancy. But my doc had mentioned if the headaches don't get better then I should come back to have bloodwork done and check my thyroid.

So I was just interested in how someone you had found out about your thyroid problems. I'm 16 weeks and have gained about 4-6 lbs so not too terrible I know. But I really shouldn't have gained anything the first trimester I feel like. Idk.

I would still post your sway - if nothing else it probably strengthens the HE side of sways like so many of us who have lots of boys.

Good morning ladies! :)

So I got to see my bean last night and I've started a guessing thread here: http://genderdreaming.com/forum/ultrasound-gender-prediction/58896-have-guess-cosmos-bean.html#post901768 Please have a look!

Honestly, it was a huge relief to see everything was okay. I'm in love now and super excited to plan for an arrival. DH got to see most of the action as I didn't have a good view and it has finally become real to him lol. This little bean is beyond super active. I knew I felt flutters, for two weeks now and a bit before.

I haven't caught up on the thread yet as I've been out most of the weekend, so I'll be back later. I have my first midwife appt in just a bit here, so getting ready. :)

XX, I have a due date for you finally. I'm settling on October 27th based on ovulation date.

I've gained 3lbs and I am 16 weeks too. I wouldn't worry about it too much Nann! Typically, I'm up 10-12lbs by this point!!

I hope everyone is starting to feel better with their symptoms. I get sour stomach still in the evenings sometimes but Tums or Zantac helps it go away.

Ok that's comforting at least! With my DD I didn't gain a pound till about 18 weeks then boom I shot to 35 lbs gained in 5 months [emoji23]

So I'm hoping this pregnant will just be a steady gain if anything. Like 6-8 lbs a trimester ideally [emoji23]wishful thinking ... summer will help though! I can get outside a lot hopefully!

I'm hoping to keep my weight gain around 20 lbs this time. I'm still losing very gently right now (my doctor and I aren't concerned), so it might be possible.

I haven't gained anything,in fact, I have probably lost 10-15lbs. My measurements are exactly the same as this time last year except my boobs are 2 inches bigger and my hips are 2 inches wider. All baby related for sure. I was bigger when I conceived due to my HE diet weight gain, but I didn't measure so who knows.

Well my indegestion symptoms have lessoned I'm still coming over tired several times a day. I haven't weighed myself buy my belly looks big and I feel frumpy. Still no super sense of smell. And thankfully no itching this pregnancy, I had pupps from 9 weeks with previous son. It was torture ended up on steroids and induced at 37 weeks.
I can't cope with waiting for harmony even though I don't want to open the email lol

Anyway, all the best with whatever your baby's gender is...it's an exciting time either way!

Mmmm! I ate a half of a pineapple at Easter brunch! I'm so happy my fruit aversion is gone!

Mmm, Mars bar! I love chocolate! I've not craved it before in my other pregnancies. I polished off a bag of Rolos (chocolate covered soft caramels) last week!
