Hello everyone
I can use all the advise for boy sway. We ttc last cycle but it didn't work. My biggest challenge is
BD pattern. We could only BD twice after my positive opk.
I know eod is best for boy sway but I am scared to do unprotected before positive O since a lot of women in my family and friends got pregnant with girls doing it. Again I do understand there may be other things that may have resulted in having a dd. But I am just scared to try it yet.
Can you please tell me the BD patterns that worked for you or suggest me BD pattern after positive opk apart from 3 attempts (night of pos opk, next morning and night) just incase we can't get our three attempts in.
I will really appreciate it. I read almost all the successful boy sways but I am always stuck at this.
Thankyou!

I got my ds2 by bding night of pos opk and following morning. All I can suggest if you're set on 3 attempts is to try and do two attempts day of pos opk so there's only one attempt to do the following day. Alternatively if your using strip opk tests maybe bd the day of super close to pos opk, the day of pos opk (which would hopefully be the following day) then again day after pos opk. Dh would then have 24 hours between bd's and you'll have your three attempts in fertile window (2-o, 1-o and day of o) as opposed to 3 at pos opk. At the end of the day just do your best, the added pressure of a cluster of bd's can be quite detrimental to dh's performance 😉. Another suggestion is maybe don't talk about it at all to dh, then initiate your bd's with dh at pos opk. Try not to get to hung up on it, the stress won't be doing you any favours :)
Eod is also great as you have a short cycle so it wouldn't be too taxing either but that does involve bding unprotected which I understand you dont want to do but is definitely worth considering... that gives dh 48 hours of recovery between bds and if you usually o by cd14 then really 5 x bd's from cd8 should cover you. Because you'll be temping you'll see your spike, I would suggest at least one more eod bd after spike to cover delayed o.
I'm sure there'll be some more responses soon :)

DS1 was conceived after BD for many nights in a row up to & including night ofl +opk. DS2 was a reverse shettles - we BD 5 days before +opk & still goot a boy. My money is on a HE lifestyle - high nutrient & highly fortified food often. Dont go more than 2hrs without eating! Lots of cereal, vitamins, high protein snacks (nuts, chocolate milk), lots of low GI foods that take a long time to break down - wholegrains, multigrain bread, baked beans, eggs, oats etc. Lots of muscle building activity (weights, pilates, walking up hills & stairs) rather than cardio. I am sure that is the key.

Ok well i have 2 sons that were born 13yrs apart and i have my ff record here and can spot on tell ya when i dtd and ovulated and well i totally believe dtd timing does not matter that it is lifestyle and having hubby be healthy too (so that whole making sure he has every 2to3 days release to keep those sperm healthy and coming ;) )
Ds#1 dtd 4-O & 3-O (pullout too boot as we were actually charting as birth control but it was cd44 after stopping bcpill and i had no idea when i might O, in hindsight was a blessing because got my Noah out of it <3 )
Ds#2 (different husband and he happens to be 10yrs older than my former) dtd 5-O and on day of O (which was cd26)
Hope that helps.

Hi. I have two boys with one attempt.
DS1 a surprise only BD ones
DS2 tried the Shettels method and conceived 4-O.
Right now I will try also with one attempt but I do LE diet etc.
Although I know many moms who have boys with everyday pattern.

Thankyou Ladies for your inputs. I really appreciate it. I am on the diet and have asked dh to release every 2-3 days if we are not bding.

Just wanted to clarify that my husband does not release on his own outside of me....he disagrees with that on account of something Judah's second son did ;)
Felt convicted to clarify at least for our situation. Loving my husband ♡

With my first son we had unprotected sex 2 times and I thought I was safe but I Oed early (so that was 2 attempts with a cutoff of at least 3 days!)
Second son - unprotected sex several times, not sure how many but at least 3, we were TTC but then my husband changed his mind and so we stopped what I thought was 4 days before ovulation.
Third son - we were trying for Shettles cutoff with him (since it had worked so good the last two times LOL) and we had a bunch of sex, not sure how many, at least 3 and prob. 4-5 times, then my husband had to go somewhere over the weekend and that was 2 day cutoff if not longer.
4th son - not sure when I Oed but we had unprotected sex several times. I remember two times in particular back to back, one day then the next day that would have been right around when he was conceived.
With my daughter it was an almost perfect Shettles boy attempt. One attempt late at night the day before O day (was probably only a few hours between BD and when the egg dropped)

With my ds1 we had 2 attempts- most likely at 0-2 and 0-1 with lots of ewcm and Dh releasing every 2-3 days before on his own amd taking a male prenatal called menevit.
Ds2 was swaying for a girl so Dh was fr on his own 1-2 times per day then we had one attempt at 0-2 or 0-3.
I think the key for my Dh is to abstain to get a girl because him releasing in any regular pattern seems to mean lots of healthy boy sperm for us lol!
Good luck I really hope you get your sweet boy and as you can see from all the pp stories about their boy conceptions timing doesn't sway it's the number of attempts, sperm count and health that counts xx

Thankyou everyone for all your help. This will be my second cycle of ttc. I am compelled to think twice about eod attempts now. Thanks again. Really really appreciate it.

My two boys were conceived almost the same way each time! And we weren't even trying for a boy/girl at the time.
With both boys we BD about every 2 days unprotected after AF up until my positive OPK. Once I got a positive OPK (solid smiley on Clearblue Advances Digital) we would BD that night, the next morning or afternoon and the next day and the day after (for good measure!). I know you aren't keen on the idea of unprotected sex before your positive OPK, but I highly suggest it because I think there might be something to it! Especially if you've been doing the HE diet. Good luck!!

Thankyou mal68912. I m convinced that the one everyone here is suggesting is the best way to go. Will go for 2-4 days after Af if this cycle doesn't get me a bfp.
