My DH and I wanted to get pregnant this year but wanted to find the "perfect time". We factored in things like weather, holidays, etc and just said let's leave it in Gods hands. We're going to give it our best "boy sway", but whatever we are blessed with we will be happy.
Is anyone here currently ttc?? If we get pregnant this cycle, we will be due towards the end of January and being from the Midwest this will be fun.😅
Send my husband blue dust!
Currently our plan is to DTD EOD (I'm on a sex high now so will 2-3 times in a row ruin our boy sway?) And my plan is to bang like rabbits 🐰 during my peak Ovulation. I'm going to give it 3 try's the day before, day of and day after?? Overkill??

I think a lot of blue swayers go for three attempts in two days. Are you doing anything else? Diet, exercise? Vitamins?

Good luck this cycle, fx for a quick bfp.
PS - I initially misread your post thinking you were suggesting you were going to try for 3 attempts on each of the days, making 9 in total and almost fell off my chair. Was going to ask about how to get a sex drive like yours:rofl:

She's doing this a little different because her husband can DTD daily and not get "worn out." The reason I do things the way I do normally is because the vast majority of my blue swayers' hubbies can't DTD that much and get worn out before the fertile window opens. :)

3RP yes yes in addition to eod if you guys can do more attempt in fertile window, PLEASE do. I don't want you to wait till day after O, tho. Can he go night of pos OPK, again next morning, and again following night (so 2 attempts second day) and then go back to EOD after that in case of delayed O?? That is what I"d have you do.

When we TTC our girls we had sex every day for 2 weeks.
Now we are planning EOD and lots of sex on Ovulation. That's our plan but minimum goal is 3 times on Ovulation.
I'm 30 and have a healthy sex drive and could have sex every day and DH is 31 but would be happy with sex once a week . So to get him to put out I have to jump him.
DH and I don't have sex when Im on my cycle which usually last 5-6 days with 2 days of spotting. So usually afterwards he's ready to go so I need to take advantage of that.

When DH and I were younger we could have sex every day, but 3 kids later and now in our 30s isn't eager as much.

I'm using Ovulation kit and a period tracker that I have been using for over 2 years.

We plan on EOD at a minimum...
If we have sex 2 days in a row will it ruin our blue sway?

Not necessarily, what we need to be on the lookout for is lots of attempts early in the cycle (when you are not fertile) because those essentially "go to waste" - the sperm die off immediately and then his swimmers may not be able to recover (while eod is enough for some guys, every 2-4 days is better for sperm count, and daily really does drop production by quite a lot).

The other risk with every day attempts is that he may not be able to perform in the fertile window. Most people disregard this but it happens ALLLLL the time even with couples who regularly BD a lot. So if you BD too much early on (or even just prior to fertile window opening) and then he can only BD once in the fertile window - or not even that!! it has happened - you end up shooting yourself in the foot with only one attempt or not really even one. More than one person has ended up with an attempt on O-2/3 and then hubby could not BD any of the other days, or if he could BD, he couldn't "complete the transaction". Most people would really, really not want to be in with one attempt on O-2 or 3, since not only is that the dreaded one attempt but also Shettles pink timing. :)
