Hi,

I decided the time was right to say hello. I've lurked here for months, soaking up girl sway tactics like a sponge. I have 4 boys and one girl and we decided we'd like to sway for one more girl. I followed the LE diet for 7 months, decided to give it a shot this month with one shot BD at positive OPK. Temping/charting shows I ovulated on cd 16 (pos opk at cd14) I had a bit of spotting and a temp dip on 6dpo and a faint positive yesterday at 8dpo! Today I am on cd 25/9dpo and it's a very definite line so there must be some hella hCG in my system already.

Anyway I thought I'd say hello because if the sway worked it would be nice for you to know that even lurkers are finding it working for them. And if it didn't, I'll have another cuddly boy to love so win win right?

Welcome and congratulations! fx for another beautiful pink bundle! Out of curiosity since you already have one pink, did you have any difference in diet or lifestyle when you conceived her compared to your boys?

Actually, i hadn't realised at the time but yes. I'd recently lost a bunch of weight and was spending a bunch of time swinging around the convention circuit existing on cigarettes, stress and jack daniels mostly (so LE food wise) We were also spending so much time working that we only BD twice that month and once around o.

With the boys everything was much more chilled, I was eating better, taking vitamins, not drinking, looking after myself essentially. We also had a lot more sex.

This time I'll admit I'm not drinking anymore and i am taking folic acid, I'm too old to go back to how i was then LOL but I've lost a lot of weight
in a short (ish) space of time so I'm kinda hoping it will work.

Hi and welcome!! Congrats!!!

It's always win-win! Girl or boy, we always get what we want - a baby to . :)

Pink dust headed your way.

Thanks Atomic. I'm surprisingly chilled out about it all really, I think I genuinely don't mind. Whereas during my fourth pregnancy (that turned out to be a girl) I was so horribly caught in GD that I refused to find out gender. When she arrived, she was an hour hold before I checked the sex because I needed to drink the baby in enough to not be devastated when I heard boy.

In a weird twist, my youngest son is the pink loving, princess obsessed one in our home. He loves to paint his nails and is eternally ruining my makeup. My girl is.. well, she's a firecracker

Oh gosh! I bet that was an exciting moment!!!

yes my daughter is also quite a wild child!! I blame that on her being born in the year of the dragon LOL. All my kids always loved to get into my makeup and nail polish. :)
