Yay fiveboys!!! Amazing news...a massive congrats to you and your family! It's additionally nice when this happens to those of us with so many of one gender because I'm sure we all think at some point that producing an opposite is nigh on impossible for us!

Five boys, huge congrats!! I always love seeing successful sways from moms with 3+ kids all the same gender. It feels like you really must have beat your predisposition, you know?
KC, I'm sorry you didn't hear pink. I was really hoping you would. Glad your little boy is healthy, though. Let us know if you need any support.

Enjoy buying pink, Im hoping and praying that i get to give my girl a sister this time round, I have a scan tomorrow to take another look, hopefully no boy parts have started to form although i know if they have i will be disappointed but he'll be cherished just like the rest of them.

Congrats 5boys! I can't believe how great this group is doing! I have been busy nubsessing over my 12 week ultrasound. I'm thinking I'm gonna stay team green at this point. I contemplated finding out just in case I am getting pink so I can start shopping, but alas the doubt is settling in my heart so I'll continue to wait to hold out some hope! Everything else looked good at my appointment, although I will have to be followed closely for my low lying placenta. The tech said my baby was very photogenic and she gave me a bajillion pics!
Hope everyone else is doing well!

Ok ladies. My appetite had recently become Out. Of. Control. I think I need to re-evaluate what I'm eating and when. I'm thinking more protein for breakfast, fruit or crackers and cheese for a snack, salad for lunch/dinner, and what I am craving (in a reasonable portion!) for an afternoon snack, and then whatever the family is having for dinner. It could be a growth spurt, but I've gained 3lbs this week! I know I can't control things like this per se, but I can control what I put in my mouth! I guess I shouldn't freak out this much- I'm a few days shy of 20w and have only gained 9-10lbs. I just don't want to gain 42lbs like I did with my DS3, since I started out 10lbs heavier than the lowest weight I've ever conceived at. I say all of this while mindlessly eating crackers! I'm a mess [emoji23]!! Step away from the cheesy crackers, haha!!

I did the Harmony test Monday, but I am not finding out gender. I *may* find out at my U/S scan. DH is starting to waiver. I am letting him decide. I REALLY want to find out, but I will give him the gift of telling me what we just had after delivery if that is what he decides he wants to do. :)
I have found out with DS1 and DS4 and I honestly loved having the secret of our babies gender for the whole time for DS2 & 3. And if by some miracle it really is a girl, I don't want everyone going nuts buying pink stuff since I HATE the color pink. I don't mind a little, but would prefer purples and other colors better.

Same as far as the huge, sore boobs. Definitely more nausea but not extreme comparatively, same exhaustion, same emotions.
I certainly am having slowed hair growth that I don't remember noticing with my son.
And I did not have this acne or frequent headaches with my son! Weight gain has been excessive in 1st trimester as it was with my son (almost 15 lbs!) Starting weight was less then 110 lbs so it's a lot on me.

I have talked to 123,456,789 people by now it feels like and I can assure you there is NO reliably difference between boy and girl symptoms. In early pregnancy, the Y chromosome is dormant and not even making testosterone till 10 weeks so all those early pregnancy symptoms are not gender-specific.
My second son and my daughter were nearly identical pregnancies. My 1st, 3rd, and 4th (all boys) were all very different from each other and from the other two. No rhyme or reason to it.

I don't even want to say how much I've gained and I'm only 11 weeks. I knew I was going to gain a lot weight because I started eating breakfast again and I was having to snack to keep the nausea away. I have a slow metabolism as well I've done a lot of crash diets over the years and have completely messed myself up. But I think you've done very well with your weight gain! I wish I could be like that!!

For me.. my leg hair growth lessens but mostly in the second and third trimester. It's just starting to lessen now that I am almost in 2nd trimester. I also get less headaches being pregnant then before when pregnant with a girl. They are really bad when I do get them though.

So....I just had a complete meltdown at my desk in front of my co-workers!!! I can't even explain why! They were teasing me about being snappy when asked who was getting breakfast and all of a sudden I just broke out in tears. Everyone was apologizing but I kept telling them they didn't do anything wrong because we always joke around with each other and that I'm just super emotional!! Saturday I cried because DS2 was stung by a bee and was inconsolable. And I cried again on Saturday because my mom wasn't at home...smh! This crying is getting ridiculous!!! HELP!! lol!

I felt far more terrible this pregnancy than I had the other two (boys) I felt so nauseous and actually sick and very tired.
I've gained 10ibs at 17 weeks which I don't think is too bad as I had to eat so much bread and. BUtter at the start because of how I felt to keep me awake & alive!
Hoping it slows down now Although I am not doing much exercise and eating quite a bit of chocolate ! Whoops xx

For 100% sure my girl pregnancies I want to unzip my skin and crawl the hell out, at the start. I'm SO irrationally uncomfortable and irritable and nauseous. Way way worse than my boys. Could be chance but the feeling is flat out uncanny. So maybe it's higher progesterone, higher hcg levels, who knows... but I really really have a rough start with the girls I have carried.

I had a meat aversion with DS1 and 2 and could barely eat chicken if I was not the one to cook it. :) Hamburger cooking was horrible for me. With DS3 I could not eat any meat. It made me super super sick like a lead ball in the pit of my stomach. I had to get protein in creative ways. DS4 I could eat some meat, but not a lot. With him I started drinking protein shakes to help. This time, I have had no problems with meat at all so far. We shall see what the second trimester brings.

So I'm 15 weeks today and my belly has grown significantly in the past week and a half! Anybody else? I feel like I did when I was well over 20 weeks with my other two. Is this a 3rd baby thing? Does the baby grow a lot during the 13th and 14th weeks? I haven't changed my diet at all and my exercise routine is the same. I've gained maybe 3-4 lbs so far but this belly is huge!

We just scheduled our anatomy scan for June 2nd! I'm so excited yet so terrified. I have felt like this has been a boy from the beginning. However, when I think about the scan I instantly am terrified of hearing girl. I'm trying to decide if we find out or go team green. Ladies who have already found out. Were your momma instincts right? Were you, too, nervous to hear? I feel like I've heard girl twice, that's probably what I would hear again. How could I have a son? Anyone else feel this way about their DG? It's silly I'm sure...
On a happy note, we got to hear the baby's heartbeat. Midwife found it right away and the baby was kicking the Doppler like crazy lol

I'd love to hear if any other moms intuition was correct too.
My gut says this is a boy. Has since day one. But I'm EXACTLY like you.. like how could I possibly be so lucky as to conceive a boy. Like I can't even fathom having a son. No way I'll get to have that excitement. So cynical I know but it's hard to realize we could ACTUALLY MAYBE get what we wanted and desired for!! [emoji170][emoji7]

Hi everyone :)
So just my input regarding different symptoms with opposite sexes (I have two boys and am now having a girl)
* 10 times more nausea with a girl, hardly any with the boys
* Lots of headaches with girl and almost none with the boys
* Carrying higher up with the girl, lower with the boys
* Feel like I have put on more weight on my back and hips with the girl as opposed to mainly just a belly with the boys
* Hair on my legs growing fast with the girl (actually can't remember if it was fast or slow with the boys though)
Also, I had a strong feeling each pregnancy. I knew I was having boys and then this time I had a strong feeling it was girl. But like someone mentioned, I didn't want to let myself believe it and thought maybe I was just hoping so hard that I imagined the strong feeling? I was extremely nervous to find out. When they lady called me with my results my heart was pounding so hard I felt like I almost couldn't hear her. Even now at 23 weeks I feel like it's too good to be true and can't believe my luck. I think I really hard convinced myself I would have 3 boys and so now it still just feels so surreal.

I had 2 with DS3. One early on around 13-15 weeks and then one 4 days before I went into labor. Thank goodness it cleared up before he arrived, since he came 12 days early!!

She is SO pretty [emoji4]!! The nub is showing a tiny bit on the bottom. It is the two parallel lines. It would look longer if her legs weren't pulled in to her abdomen.

Well, with DD I had a strong intuition that it was NOT a boy, but I made myself believe there was a possibility. I was really attached to the idea of a boy. When I heard it was a girl, I wasn't the least bit surprised lol because deep down inside, I already knew.
This time around, I have a very strong feeling it's a boy, but, I'm finding it difficult believing myself due to what happened with DD. I can't help but doubt myself because I swayed for a boy and I know that there is a chance I could be trying to convince myself.
If it's a girl, she's gonna have my very tomboyish characteristics. This is one strong baby. My DD was very mild tempered in utero and until today she is the sweetest little thing. Nothing like me, except in some interests like artistic inclinations and a very deep way of understanding her surroundings. So I guess she is like me, but a much better version. Thank God! I can be such an a** lol.

Haha yes! That is me this time! My daughter was super chill and often would scare us cuz she didn't move much in utero.
This baby I swear intends to be a kick boxer/gymnast/karate master black belt! I get a swift kick to the gut at least every 30mins! And lots of acrobats and stretching makes me feel like my uterus is gonna pop! [emoji23]

It is so interesting to hear that your DD's were super chill inutero. This baby is uber chill, but I thought that was just because her placenta in anterior. All of my boys were super active inutero. I seriously felt that they would fall out of my uterus at times [emoji23]! She is such the sweetest and gentlest baby I have carried so far! Even when she wants me to switch sides while sleeping, she will gently get my attention to have me move. It's a good thing I have mellowed some over the years, otherwise I think she would be scared of me, haha!

Shanshaff, I can really relate to this and I'm even considering going team green until the end now, just to avoid grandparent craziness. Even though I want a daughter, I'm dreading receiving a million sparkly tutus if we find out we're having a girl, it hearing "oh, poor you", if it's a third boy. I wish people could just be happy and treat the baby the same regardless of the sex, it makes GD so much harder when others make a big fuss over a certain gender.

You could always find out the gender and not tell people. That way you can avoid the onslaught of the pink massacre, haha! My family knows I loathe pink, so they are buying other colors. I don't mind pink- I just don't want so much of it to where she only has pink stuff!

I don't like blue OR pink, and part of why I want to find out is so I can get creative with clothing colors and combinations. DH is now telling me he doesn't wanna know the gender :p but I do because if it's a girl, I want time to prep and get things I actually enjoy, unlike with DD, where everything was gender neutral u_u.

I kept a yeast infection with DS1 I had diflucan on refill but then another doc in the practice prescribed a cream for me instead and that cleared it up for good. I didn't have one with DS2 and I have had one so far with is bub at 9 weeks but I just took a OTC 1 day treatment and it went away but I'm prone to getting yeast infections easily. I have to make sure I eat yogurt a couple of times a week to keep the yeast at bay.

That looks like a girl to me! At 15w there was no mistaking DS4.
So those that are further along, did you feel worse at 13w? I am really struggling here. I am not sure if it is because I am trying to get ready for our trip and My parents being here, or what. But I am so so so dang sick. The headaches are worse and I have woken up puking/dry heaving every morning this week. UGH. I pray that I will not be so sick this trip that it is horrible. :( At least DH and I will be along, just us. Sorry for the rant.

I would always find out if I had a preference. But that's knowing myself, not a statement on what is right for other people. I know that I would be disappointed upon finding out it's another boy, and I would rather have time to work through it before the birth.

Good morning ladies!
Ough, I'm SO worried :(
If you've kept up with me, you know that we moved to a temporary flat while our current place is being renovated. There are lots of students in this area as we are close to two uni's.
Anyway, long story short. The tenant downstairs lets his buddies couch surf while he isn't home and they invite friends over and they smoke pot all night, every freaking night. Normally, in a non pregnant state, I really don't care. But I'm afraid for the baby :(
My house always smells in the morning and specifically my room. We turned off the furnace (this is a triplex as short term leases are rare), I blocked all the vents, we've discussed with the landlord and even had police involved. Court orders take time and the landlord did her best and found us a new place (townhouse yeah!) but it won't be available until June 1st so we have to stay here until then.
They don't make noise anymore, which is great, but the smell is very strong. Can this affect the baby? It isn't actual smoke, but the smell is strong enough to make me wake up and I appear to have pregnancy onset asthma, so it makes it difficult to breathe. I'm very miserable. The smell has gotten better since involving the cops and regular tattling to the landlord, but it isn't gonna stop. I can tell that they sell it due to the traffic that comes by regularly. Maybe I should go to their uni and report them LOL is that even an option? Their behavior is baffling. Cops can't do anything until they see raw marijuana so these kids know howto get away with it.
I REALLY can care less what they do to be honest. People in their youth can be very stupid and inconsiderate. I just don't want my baby harmed. It's still chilly at night here in Canada and sleeping with the windows open and fans on has me congested. I don't know what else to do and again, I'm just worried for the baby. As far as I know, the concern for a baby's development and possible ill effects of marijuana are for those who smoke it directly and regularly correct?
Wantanother2017
May 13th, 2017, 08:19 AM
Cosmo,
I certainly feel for you that you're going through all of this! To answer your question, yes, cannabis can pass through the placenta and cause growth restriction in the baby as well as effect the baby's brain development. It's very common unfortunately in pregnant women to have a frequent pot smoking history these days so more is being discovered on the topic.
However, second hand smoking, especially how indirect your exposure is seems very unlikely to cause any harm. Except loads of undue stress to you, and some respiratory irritation. I would still discuss with your provider and continue calling the cops every time you notice this, maybe it will detour them somewhat.
So sorry you are suffering with this added stress. Can't wait till your out of there!

Hang in there Cosmosis! I agree with Wantanother and discuss this again with your doctor/midwife. I'm sure as long as you are not inhaling any second hand smoke, you should be fine. I'm more worried about it affecting your breathing, because if it is constricting your airways that will have an affect in your baby.

I need to vent to you ladies about something.
If I hear another stereotypical comment about boys today, I am seriously going to go ape shit on that person!
So today at the park: 2 women were there. One had a 2 year old son and one had a 4 year old daughter and a 7mo old daughter. My boys both said, "Excuse me", to the little girl so they could get past her. The boy mom said, "Your boys have such great manners!". I of course thanked her. The other woman noticed I had 3 boys and said, " You must have your hands full"! I replied, "I'm very fortunate, my boys are all very easy". They are!! Then of course my 17.5mo old gets hurt and cries. What child doesn't when he/she is hurt?!? The girl mom said, "I'm so glad I don't have to worry about that!" Um, her friend has a boy! I replied, "Oh you must be lucky, you're children don't cry when they are hurt". WTH? How on earth is that situation a boy vs. a girl thing?!?
Then we get home. My youngest son asked me to turn on the bubble maker. Fine. I had to put our stuff inside the front door. Meanwhile, my next door neighbor is out talking with another neighbor. She is an older woman (75-76) and had 2 children- a girl and a boy. Her boy died tragically of suicide when he was in middle school. My boys LOVE her. They say hi to her. She comes over and talks to them. I'm about to pick up my youngest son, when he falls and scrapes his chin on the driveway. She says, "Oh no"! "Boys always seem to hurt themselves". WTF?!? Girls never get hurt? Since when is this a boy thing?!?
Maybe it's the pregnancy hormones, but I am naturally protective of my children! What is wrong with people? Do they not know what to say so they say something stupid just to respond? All children get hurt, all children misbehave, all children act crazy at times- hell, even us adults do too! Ugh. I have to go to the store today after nap time. I hope I exude leave me the f$&@k alone vibes, because I WILL not stand for someone making a stupid comment about my boys because they are boys! Don't worry- I'll take a deep breath and behave myself if my children are with me, haha! They don't need to see their mother behaving badly because some jackass says something stupid 🤣!

People can be so annoying in their desperate attempt to make themselves feel superior. I often feel so lucky my son is so mild mannered and sweet. His best friend is a girl and she is much more rowdy and accident prone. And is girl cousin drives me up the wall with her 24/7 sobbing fits over nothing.
I smile and say nothing. Because that's what normal people do. Motherhood spares no one and snide comments like these are so unnecessary.
We all are going to deal with the same stresses for the most part with child rearing, and we are all just trying to make it out alive.

Thanks ladies! We are gonna put plastic and tape over every vent and air intake in the house (well, my section anyway lol) and diffucse some lavender and eucalyptus oils to help open up airways. It is getting much warmer the next 3 days, so I can open windows and allow air to really circulate. Just gotta get through the next 3 weeks! I'll try my best to leave the house most of the day, I can use the walking anyway :)
As for the boy comments. That's so dumb. I have so many scars lol. I broke my scalp open when I was 5, I fell face first on glass when I was about 6, I have a couple of burns from trying to iron when I was little, I tried to shave (like my dad! lol) once and cut myself. I didn't listen and messed with a vicious dog when he was eating and got my face bitten (I have 2 small scars on my lips for it) and I also broke my front tooth while dancing with the cat.
All of this was between 4 and 7 years of age by the way and a quick recap too haha! I got in more trouble than my brothers combined throughout my childhood. It is totally a personality thing, not a gender thing! Until today, I'm very accident prone and it has DH on his toes all the time :suprise:

My boys are very stereotypical boys. Loud, active, usually bruised. I assume any girl I have would be the same way.
But I have a cousin and two of her three boys are very sedate, quiet, sensitive kids (her girls are too). The extended family constantly fawns over them for being so calm and so gentle. Often in front of my boys, and her more active boy. It drives me nuts.

Well boys ARE way more active (and get hurt) than almost all girls I have been around or have. (Just like I thought my boys were very nurturing to their baby dolls until I had my daughter). There is a bit of truth to the nature vs nurture. Of course a huge grouping of all boys being one way or another is silly. My 4 boys range significantly in the active/not, loud/not, hurt themselves/not, etc.
People don't know how to relate very well when talking about kids...

The boy comments are ridiculous. I have 1 girl who is very girly. Has to look like a princess before she goes out to play but she's absolutely insane climbs things my boys wouldn't dream of and comes back into house absolutely filthy while the boys stay relatively clean lol

I do find myself getting upset/stressed about things these days but it's all pregnancy related and something like this probably wouldn't bother you one bit if you weren't pregnant...take no heed xxx

Yes I agree with the above. DD1 is very sensitive and cautious. DD2 is like Tasmanian. She has no fear and no limits lol. It is definitely just who the kid is... who they were created to be. I think boys are probably more often than not classified as little go-getters and fear-free, but that is not the case with all boys, and obviously with my DD2, girls neither. DD2 is actually more wild and crazy than several of my friends boys... lol you just never know who they are going to be even if you do know their gender. Happy Mother's Day ladies! We have such an incredible role and opportunity in guiding our and developing these little people. Keep working hard even if you feel as if your work is "unseen." Know that it is not!

I have a gender ultrasound on Monday and I'm so so nervous. I've had early ones that say girl but this place I'm going to specifically deals with early gender determination and it's two hours away but I need to know lol but then another part of me doesn't want to know lol I'm going on holiday the following week and it's a one off thing where hubby and I are getting to go alone and I don't want to be depressed

Roe, that's a lovely scan photo :)
Quick question ladies. What do you think the likelihood of not being able to determine gender via scan at 17 weeks is? I'm trying to make a decision. What if the baby doesn't cooperate?
I don't want to get anymore scans after 17 weeks as hearing develops after that and both DH and I don't think the possible risks are worth it, plus the anatomy scan is too long so I'm opting out. Basically, this is my now or never moment.
We were not very successful trying to get a nub shot last time we went soooooo, I'm worried we'll end up in the same boat lol.
What do you think?

Think I will BB ... just want to enjoy my pregnancy because it's my last but then some days I get really anxious over it and nearly panicky at the thoughts of a 4th boys and never having a daughter. And then other days I'm not bothered what I have and count my blessings and give out to myself for even thinking I hope it's a girl and not a boy. Hormones definitely playing a part!!! Such a roller coaster really is and then I worry about what people will say or think if it's another boy ... stupid I know!
And it doesn't help when you hear off your own mother practically everyday 'please God it's a girl'. I feel like other people will be more disappointed then me and I'm afraid how other people will react, I know I shouldn't care!!!

Awe, hang in there Amelia10! It is so strange the pressure other people put on us! Before we found out, I could tell my MIL was really hoping this baby was a girl. She would comment on my symptoms and ask about the baby's heart rate. I reminded her that these are OWTs, but she kept asking anyway.
You have to do what is best for you. You have plenty of time to change your mind and find out, if you want. I always admire the women that can hold out and go team green! I love the idea, but I could never do it! I'm worse than a child snooping for Christmas presents! I'm totally the epitome of curiosity killed the cat, haha!

Well.... DH insists he wants to go team green :twins: I tried to book a last minute appointment for today and they had no opening so these two put together were just a sign to forget about it. I also felt very hesitant for some reason, I guess I want Dh fully on board to share the excitement since it is our first together and if he doesn't want to get it, then the excitement of finding out early just disappears for me. He finds it more "fun" not knowing. Men.
I really only wanted to find out for clothing purposes, and then I realized that for the really important items like diaper covers and onsies, undergarments and most blankets, I want to be able to use for all of my kids sooooooo, they still have to be gender neutral. I could always shop for a boy AND girl for outing outfits and such haha!
Movement has slowed alot or maybe the baby changed positions but I am worried and I really wanted to peek in there u_u.

Cosmo, I totally understand that. If my DH wasn't on board for finding out gender, I think I would wait too. It should be something that you both share in the excitement! I'm sure all is well with your little bean. I'm a bit behind you but I will feel flutters more one day and barely at all other days. Hang in there!

I'm pretty darn tired. And I'm actually having trouble eating lately which is weird. First trimester I couldn't eat enough. No i have no appetite. I'm not sick or anything. I just have no desire to eat. Idk it's weird.
I'm worried I'll be anemic again this pregnancy like I was with my daughter. It was such a pain trying to keep up on iron intake and pills and constantly having my blood drawn.

I'm feeling pretty good these days...a little tired but not too bad. Back to maternity clothes...I started wearing the pants at 9 weeks but not the tops yet. DH and my mom took me shopping for my bday this past weekend and I just bought my clothes in a larger size versus buying more maternity clothes. I bought a lot of dresses and skirts with elastic waistbands so hopefully I'm covered until gets cold in November and I'll buy some large sweaters I guess Idk lol. BTW..I have my gender scan booked for Jun 14th so only a few more weeks I just hope there is a definite answer at exactly 16 weeks FX.

I second the increase in appetite! I feel great! I'm sleeping great since my Prenatal massage. I highly recommend it! I'm in full on maternity clothes now and need to buy a few more bras. My bust size finally increased. I'm still breastfeeding my DS3 (1-2 times a day) so I'm thinking that delayed it a bit.

I am 14 weeks now and I am just starting to feel a bit better. Still get nausea if I don't eat every few hours and when I get headaches it makes me throw up. My midwife said that I can use peppermint oil on temples if I need to help with pain of headache. That kind of helps.
Baby girl is craving fresh fruit and veggies which I am so happy about! My sweet tooth is like gone. I always have one not pregnant.
As far as exercise .. I am just getting back into it. Roe... how do you work out 6 days a week!? O wish I had that energy! You go girl!!

Hang in there Jconger! You don't have to find out, if you don't want to. If you still want to wait to think it over, you can always have them write the gender down for you and put in an envelope for you to open later. I had to do that with my DS2. I wanted another son so badly, and I was for sure he was a she. He had a girlie skull, and we didn't get a clear nub shot at the NT scan.

Thanks girl! I appreciate your advice. I'm afraid I might drive myself nuts for another 20 Weeks. I know there won't be disappointment holding the baby but yeah you are right. My father in law prayed before I got pregnant, asking for a son, and I know he wants me to "find out and get it over with" bc I'm driving him nuts. He tells me to just believe. Thanks about the Ramzi. I feel like everything is opposite so I will just trust Him. Thanks again!

I'm a bit worried lol, my bump isn't forming at all. I look the same except that my flabby tummy doesn't have such a pronounced B shape anymore. I'm wearing the same clothing and seem to be slimming out at the top (bra strap area). I found a pic of me at 25 weeks with DD and I was heavier back then. I did have a pronounced bump. So I'd assume since Im slimmer this time, my bump should be showing sooner. hmmm.
Also, my uterus seems to be lopsided this time around. When I feel it, it bulges out more towards the left side than it does to the right, anyone else notice anything similar? I assume it will even out as the pregnancy progresses.

I have a question ladies, how accurate is a ultrasound at 15 weeks? My friends want to do a gender reveal where I don't know what the gender is either and I found out with everyone else, which I don't have a problem with. However, I've scheduled my u/s at 16 weeks on the 14th of next month and I'm going out of town to visit family that following weekend. So, we were going to the reveal on the 24th but when I told my mom she reminded that she is going vacation that weekend so it would have to be that next weekend on July 1st. I think I will have to push the u/s back a few weeks because I can't walk around that long knowing that someone else knows it would drive me crazy lol! So my options are to do the u/s at 15 weeks or wait until 18 weeks to do the u/s. 3 weeks really isn't that long...what do you ladies think?

Both my last pregnancy and current one was at 14 weeks and they could tell right away. I went to an actual 4d scan place that tells you gender not a medical scan. In fact last pregnancy at 20 week anatomy medical scan she told me she wasn't 100% that it was a girl bc of baby's position. If I hadn't been told at 14 weeks... I may not have known.

DS2 was lopsided all the way through. He pushed towards my right from the beginning.
I've been finding looking back that I looked pregnant faster when I was a bit heavier. As soon as my uterus pushed past the top of my pelvis, it made my whole tummy round out. Now I'm a bit lighter, although still overweight, I don't look nearly as round as I did at this point with DS2.

Jconger, I think I've decided to go team green now. Jooooooooin us!
Cosmosis, I had a lopsided uterus with DS2. He was stuck on one side the whole time and he was almost a ten pounder carrying really low, so it pushed my back out of whack and caused me some discomfort (no issues in labor as a result of that, though, he was in a good position for delivery). I visited an osteopath during and after pregnancy and there wasn't much she could do before I gave birth because DS2 was happy just hanging out on that side of my uterus, but after the birth she realigned things and it helped with my back pain.

I've been a little concerned lately with feeling some pressure and swelling down below. Hoping it's just a second baby thing and things are more relaxed. My 20 wk appt is in 6 days and I should know if there are any cervical shortening issues or what not, god forbid. I had a healthy pregnancy last time so no cause for alarm other then getting myself into trouble reading boards online. Read to many horror stories!

Nann! Glad I'm not crazy. I seriously never felt this last time even later on. That I remember. It's just giving me anxiety that some John's going to give way, everytime I pick up my son I feel worried. And even walking i notice things just seem to slightly rub in ways they never did before!
Just looking forward to my 20 week scan and seeing the dr for some reassurance!

Awww, I'm loving all the bump photos! I'm a bit jelly that I'm not looking anywhere near preggo lol. Nan3r, I think if I didn't have this flab, my lump would look like yours does. Did you carry the same way with your DD?
I don't have alot of discomfort in my vag, but DTD hurts, I guess due to swelling.
Erin, so glad to have you on team green!

Left is DD Rowan and right of course is this baby. Idk I feel thicker this go around, but maybe more toned than last pregnancy? DD looks so low in this pic but she actually sat REALLY high most my pregnancy. I swear this baby is going to just drop out of me one of these days [emoji23]

Hello all! I am back from my trip and it was WONDERFUL! We had a blast on the cruise without the kids. :) I am very happy to be home with them again. I missed them so much.
I have been sick since getting home though. I am dizzy and light headed and sway all the time. I think it is called "land sickness". I am so tired of feeling like garbage. :( I have no appetite and I can't eat very much at all. Ugh. I still have pretty severe ms too which is not helping.
I love all of the belly pics. I will try to take one too. Everyone has such a little bump. Most people at work already know because I have a significant bump already.

Oh and we got the results of our Harmony test and baby is HEALTHY!!! I am so relieved!!! We are still team green and I think we will stay that way unless DH caves and needs to find out gender.

We should find out tomorrow! I'm trying to get excited about boy #3 because I feel like it's probably inevitable. Honestly, it'll be nice to see baby squirming around, we've had a rough few days.
I'll get a bump picture for you soon!

Well, that settles all the wondering. ;)
I am a lot less bothered about it than I thought I would be. Three of a kind, lucky me. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170527/c96dd818c69a0c9d1eaafb1c50ff8bc5.jpg

Curious to when everyone started feeling baby and where by kick or move the most at!

Since my placenta is anterior, I felt movement around 16 weeks. I feel consistent movement now at 22 weeks.
