Hi there! This is my first post here, though I've lurked for a long time. I just got a (VERY) unexpected BFP with baby #3. I have two little boys that I adore. Very much hoping for a girl this (last) time around.

With my two boys we were very much trying to get pregnant, using OPKS, etc. This time around we were not trying at all and were using the pull out method--we used it very carefully and are still in shock that we are expecting.

I was in my 20s with my boys, and am in my 30s now. Do you think the fact that I'm older now, and we weren't trying, and he definitely pulled out will help sway girl?? I'm 6 weeks now, first u/s Wednesday.

Pull out method definitely sways pink (low sperm count!), but what seems to be even more important, what were you eating around the time of conception? What is your diet generally like?

Well, it's hard to weigh in on a sway that is already a done deal. But "oops" babies are more likely to be girls, and one attempt is a good sway tactic. Odds are when you had your boys you were "trying" a lot, which can inadvertently sway blue.

There's a due date group for Dec/Jan/Feb here too!

There's always a chance of a girl and oopsie, pull out babies have = more girls for us. No guarantees, of course, but you always have a chance! Good luck and pink dust!
