So... I normally never ever spot, and I didn't get IB with my first pregnancy. But this afternoon I've had a bit of spotting, and af not due til Monday. Very odd. For the last couple days I've had a constant headache but I chalked it up to the LE diet/just not eating as well as normal. Lastly today I am EXHAUSTED! I took a test and got a bfn though. I'm using progesterone cream - would those be symptoms of the cream or the diet? I'm not really taking other supplements. Or would the diet etc cause AF to come early?

I'm 10dpo

Bleeding is continuing. Seems like AF is two days early. 9 day LP.... has never been shorter than 11 days.

WELl, period is definitely here, and early for the first time like... ever? Why would
It be early?!

It's the prog cream 100% for sure. That is super common.

How sure are you about when you ovulated?

I charted, did OPK's, and watched for CM transition

Should I stop the prog cream altogether or take a little during my follicular phase? I got prego after 6 months trying when I used it for the first time so I'm attached :(

NEVER take progesterone cream during your follicular phase!! It will delay O and has never been proven to sway one iota (and scads of info indicate that it doesn't)

Are you using progesterone cream on your own? When did you start it?

Do you have a chart I can look at?

I've only ever taken it during luteal phase but read somewhere you could do otherwise - although I had never heard that! Just curious :) I did prog cream the one month I got prego years ago of course and started it again last month. My doc was fine with me taking it since my LP is a little short, and she put me on suppositories when I fell prego last time

Here's my chart - I can't manage to log in to my old FF account, which would be helpful in showing you my regular pattern. Last month was very unusual!

And the people who said that are wrong. It will delay or stop ovulation to do that (and the sites that say to do that have dozens of women with badly messed up cycles and who took 1-2 years to get pregnant because of their terrible advice.)

As long as your doc is standing by to give you REAL prog supplementation during pregnancy then I suppose it's ok but be aware the OTC cream is not designed to help anyone get or stay pregnant and it is designed for menopausal women to alleviate their symtpoms. It is not strong enough to help with fertility issues and I understand it appeared to work for you, but the risk is that you use it, mess up your cycle, and then conceive and your doctor needs to give you prescription strength support at that point (since the OTC cream will not have enough oomph to sustain a pregnancy.)

This is the first month on the progesterone cream???
