Some additional info
I'm am newly 36
Husband is newly 37
I have ZERO sex drive 100% of the time
We go months without sex
I know he just takes care of himself so there isn't any real abstaining
Should I test the opk this morning again? I already went to the bathroom so it won't be "fmu"
I'm very certain my last daughter was conceived after EWCM had gone by a few days. I honestly was convinced it was too latex 33 years old
Only had sex the one time
My other daughter (g/b/g) was many attempts and pregnant the first month trying at age 29
My son was the only one that took two months. Lots of BD- and used pressed 31 years old

Not positive yet. The test line will be as dark as it darker than the control line. If this is your first month TTCing, I would have your first attempt the night of your positive opk.
Remember, you should be testing opks from 10-2pm when LH levels are at their peak. Unless the directions with your opks say to use FMU. I would also test again in the evening, if you can just to compare your earlier result. If you can't, don't sweat it! I often wasn't able to, and I never missed my positive opk.
🤞🏻for you!!

Thank you so much for the quick reply!
Hubs is in the shower and headed to work and I was fully prepared to approach him in the shower of need be
I'll test around 12/2 and after dinner as well.

Does your OPK say to test with FMU? Most OPK are best used after lunch.
EWCM doesn't tell you when you've ovulated. We have people who find their EWCM dries up 2-3 days before O and also that it can go on for a couple days even after O has occured.
Can you tell me what YOU want to do?? Are you sold on timing or just want to get pregnant with one attempt?

I really believe one attempt is the reason for dd2
Dd1 was like every single day sometimes several times a day
I feel like not dtd and then going for it got me my girls (dh was either depleted by the many attempts daily --- or the abstaining with dd2 )
My son was a different approach entirely
It took 2 months because I was just not really trying and maybe every other day or so. Plus used preseed every single time- no clue that it swayed haha)
I do like the sound of e4d but being in my fertile window according to clue - seems I've missed that boat haha

With dd2 I had ewcm and days later we had our one attempt
I swear I thought my chances were nil

Those aren't long, they're still in normal range.
Yes you hadn't Oed yet with your DD. A lot of times there is still EWCM up inside just isn't visible any more and that is where the sperm hides out.

Should I test again this evening?
I'm wondering if I should just skip ttc this month and make sure I have a true plan going into ttc lol

I'd not waste the test with lines that light.
RE whether to TTC this month - have you been doing diet and stuff? What's your weight and age?

Just turned 36
171lbs
I have Girl diet tendencies - never breakfast, virtually nothing of nutritional
Value, Diet Coke, aspartame, rarely eat meat...almost never red meat aside for the odd McDonald's burger.
Lots of white pizza (chicken bacon ranch)
I don't really eat pasta
My main issue is the snacking
Because my diet is so poor, and I'm constantly busy with homeschooling 3 kids...I graze to stay alive lol
Lots of candy. Like twizzlers, milk chocolate

Ok since you do have some weight to spare I'd at least consider waiting this out and getting diet straightened out first but that's your call to make. (if you had already lost all your weight or were over 38ish I'd have you go for it.) But totally up to you.
