Blue sway – sick hubby taking antibiotics – help please :D

Hello lovelies,

Me again! :D

We’re on our 2nd month TTC and of course, winter has arrived and hubby is sick – gah!
Am on CD11 today, opks still neg (but seems my surge is short so that could change fast!) – and hubby has been unwell since middle of last week – so so far we only BD’d on Thursday (CD7). He went to the doc this morning (finally after all my nagging!) and has a throat infection – and has been given antibiotics.
Is that ok for a blue sway?
Should we skip this month due to very little BD so far (am hoping to get a BD session in tonight though)?
Feels like we never will get a month without an issue – so any reassurance would be most welcome!

Has he had a temperature? Is he releasing or not??

The old school sway gurus claimed antibiotics swayed blue but I have never seen one iota of good data that indicates this is true.

My gut instinct is for you guys to hold off this month but only if you can stand it.

He hasn't had a real temp, no and has been on the mend since getting the medication on Monday and pretty much feeling back to normal..We BDd on Monday night.
My opks were still neg yesterday and just now (cd13, 2.30pm) has gotten darker but not there yet..could be positive tonight but maybe so more likely tomorrow.
Really not keen to skip this month, as we've been waiting for so long to start truly ttc ing again, and am impatient as well as knowing that nothing will ever be 100% perfect ..but then again, if it's a no no and am jeopardising my sway if I go ahead...

If it were me, I'd try. It's just that if you'll live 1000 lifetimes of regret if you TTC and get an opposite, it may be something to consider. :)

Thanks Atomic, we went ahead, a Bub , full stop...is more important than a potential boy, and as hubs doesn't want or believe in swaying I can't stop ttc ing just because ;) I would never regret a Bub regardless of gender so all good :)
We dtd yesterday morning and evening , an de intend on tonight as well..my opk was the most positive yesterday midday ish so O likely today at some point or tomorrow early...FX now I guess! :D
