I came here initially wanting to sway pink.
but something has happened and now I am really wanting to sway for another boy.
should I post in the TTC boy area?

I have G/B/G
my last girl was conceived while I was extended breastfeeding my son (he was 18 months when we fell pregnant) and nursing at least twice a day still. Shes 2.5 now. Not breastfeeding.

I have not changed diet or anything really (yet) - I did take zyrtec 3 days in a row and Im wondering if thats why my EWCM is nonexistant.

We have made no attempts yet this cycle.

I have 33/34 day cycles. I am on CD21 and have been testing with opks daily since 6/1 and have not had a positive yet. Am I out this month anyway? I thought I read somewhere late ovulation favors girls?

I am newly turned 36
overweight 172lbs
and I eat mostly take out foods.
I dont usually eat a solid breakfast, but I do pick pick pick all day long. Lots of snacking.
I overanalyze EVERYTHING and have a high stress existance. I get very worked up super fast and fly off the handle.
I was considering taking flonase again for my alergies (pretty sure its a steroid)

My questions:
If I had just started taking zyrtec, should I skip this month and get on mega doses of vitimins and try next cycle?

I drink a lot of diet drinks....should I stop asap?

I got my son while using preseed last time. Should I use it again?

I feel like a total weirdo for having such a drastic change of heart.

Thanks for any help!

No I totally understand that!

Late O can go either way. If it's due to PCO-tendencies which being a bit overweight may mean that is what is going on, then yes it can sway blue.

Flonase, we don't know how it sways. Please only use it if you need it for your allergies.

Yes we've had good results with Preseed, I recommend that for blue swayers.

Yes, I'd ditch the diet drinks. I'd try to be sure you're taking prenatals or multivitamins with 1000 IU Vit. D in them.

Im thinking about waiting until next month. I dont want to wait too long becuase Im already 36 and worry about the advanced maternal age swaying girl.

And considering I am in my fertile window...I am behind the 8-ball with diet and vits.

I got a boy at 37 and a boy at 39. The idea that older parents have more daughters is just a small, interesting statistical variation and not the kind of thing that sways strongly in the way that you're thinking of it.
