Hi everyone, I used to be on the forum a lot but had a miscarriage last November and since then have been fairly quiet. I am now 13+1 (that's what baby measured) and would love to know your guesses. Thanks everyone xxx

Oh gosh honeybee, I think girl!!!

It is still just the teensiest bit early but I have goosebumps LOL. I have seen nubs rise into the 13th week but for now I am saying girl. :cheer:

Oh my goodness, thank you for your guesses atomic and ksmom!! I would be beyond delighted if you were right!! I just can't decide myself, at the time the nub looked long and flat but one of the pics is troubling me cos it looks a bit pointed! My ds2 was more pointed at this point but I guess we will see! Thanks so much for your guesses! Anyone else like to look?

At first I was thinking boy, but the other pics look like a girl to me.
I am leaning girl!

Thank you everyone! I really hope you're right! The bottom picture I posted is the one that's troubling me - I don't know if I'm looking at the right thing but it looks slightly angled? And what are the two nubs?!

Not the most obvious girl nub but I'm still leaning that way. Congratulations on your healthy sticky bubs.

Did you sway pink honeybee?

Sort of... I had swayed a lot before the miscarriage baby last November, but from Christmas I just really wanted to be pregnant again. I always skipped breakfast (only ate twice a day), was strictly vegetarian (as was DH), drank lots of black coffee and plenty of white wine! I guess we will see if that's enough. I'm worried we had too many attempts - Thursday night and then I got a positive OPK on Saturday but I usually ovulate very soon after a positive so saturday's attempt may have been too late. Also the previous months I had been ovulating super early (like day 10/11) so I took vitex just that month and ovulated on day 16 the month I conceived. Not sure if that's relevant... I just hope I did enough! I'm still a bit confused by the nubs but I'm delighted with so many pink guesses!

You swayed, Honeybee, if anything too strictly for too long.

^^^and the reason I mention it is because I find WAY too many swayers look back at their sways and say "oh I didn't sway" but then they actually did like a zillion things!! You absolutely swayed!!

Ha! I think because I swayed heavily this time last year, when it came to the months before I got pregnant this time it didn't feel like I was swaying. There were LOTS of cheats but I guess the principles were there 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻😀

If you're swaying so strictly you can't get pregnant, that isn't swaying, it's birth control LOL

It's only swaying if you conceive, and YES IT COUNTS! :)

Ha ha, yes you're definitely right there atomic!
Can I see what you ladies think to this? I (stupidly) sent my scan pic to Gender Experts who apparently give you an accurate guess (I should've stuck with you ladies, I know..) and they've sent this back: 36632
I think the way they've drawn the angle on the spine is just basically a horizontal line and doesn't take into account that the baby is curled upwards (if that makes sense, at its bottom, as you see from the end of the spine) Can I have your expert opinions? My heart sank when I opened the email

I also don't think they took the gestation into account. If this was 12 weeks, same shot, I'd not have guessed, but 13 is different. For me it is more than just the angle, it is the clarity, the gestation, and above all else the length of it that seems girly to me. I am no expert, just a random person when it comes to ultrasounds but it looks girly to me. So guard your heart for now but I'd be cautiously optimistic.

I am absolutely heartbroken to say that my baby girl, Matilda Rose, was born at 19 weeks. She is absolutely perfect, just tiny. I can't believe it and I don't think there are any words to express how devastated I am.

She had a post mortem yesterday but she seemed to be completely healthy and perfect. The placenta had lost of clots in though and they think possibly I may have a clotting disorder which may also explain my ten week loss last year. I am beyond devastated though - I held her in my arms and have been going back to see her before her funeral next week. I can't believe I had a daughter and now she is gone.

Thank you so much everyone. I really can't believe it. Everything had been going so well. I have put on a ton of weight from being so sick and needing to eat crap the whole time. I knew she would be worth it though and she absolutely would have been. I just want to TTC again but the obs said it would be wise to wait for all the results which could be 12 weeks.... if I have a clotting disorder then I guess this could happen again. I can't not try again but I feel so sad and hopeless right now.

It's just so unfair. Hopefully the doctor can help figure this out so it never happens again. I wish you all the best. Lots of pink rainbow dust to you.

There are no words!! I am so so sorry I just can't even to begin to imagine what you are going through, I hope they get to the bottom of it. My friend lost a baby at 16wks last year and there was also clots in placenta. I'm not sure what the diagnosis was however she took baby aspirin all through her next pregnancy and delivered a healthy baby last month. Hugs x

Thank you everyone. I still struggle to believe what has happened to my beautiful and healthy baby girl. I am so, so mad with my stupid clotting blood. I have started up on the LE diet, really not thinking I would ever need to!!!! At least I have weight to lose I suppose..... I just wish she were here with me. X

Thanks Claire and atomic. Today is a bad day. I am still bleeding heavily and feel so completely hopeless and sad. All I ever wanted was my daughter and I finally got her - and now she has gone. Her funeral is on Friday and I have no idea how I will get through it. If I do have APS then future ttc will be more complicated plus I am 36 next week so none of this helps at all. I just don't know what to do.

I cannot even imagine what you're going through and I totally lack the words to express how very sorry I am.

Please know we are here for you, even when we don't know what to do or say.
