This past months timings were perfect, we managed to get an attempt every 4 days even between his work schedule and my crazy school schedule. AF started today, so no luck. I have noticed that I don't really get an EWCM anymore like I did when I was younger with my boys. Maybe this has something to do with it? Is Preseed a no-no no matter what on a girl sway or would it not make too much difference as long as we stuck to e4d? Is there anything else that could help with that that's more girl friendly? And if no EWCM is a good thing, please feel free to tell me that too. Thanks for any help!

The theory is that no EWCM is good for pink.
But of course you do need some EWCM to get pregnant, the good news is, even when you think there isn't any there, there is still some up inside where you cannot see it.
Do you feel like you need a lube for comfortable intercourse, or are you more worried about the lack of mucus?
We can do a few different things, let me lay them out for you.
1)We can go to e4d plus one more attempt at positive opk OR e3d, whichever makes more sense to you with your schedule.
Downside - this may sway slightly more blue than sticking with e4d and being patient.
2)WE can add in a SMALL amount of Preseed as a lube. Downside - if the problem is really up inside not enough EWCM in the crypts/tube, a small amount of Preseed will not fix this. Small amounts appear to be totally neutral and I use this quite frequently for pink sways - only the larger amounts seem to sway blue.
3)We can add in guanefesin to help you make more EWCM naturally. Downside - this may sway blue.
So I'm not sure what is our best option here, and when I don't know I have to toss it back to you - what option feels like the right one?

Okay so this past month we stuck with the E4D and just added in a small amount of Preseed. Wasn't quite sure what you considered small, so I used roughly half an applicator. I have clinicals with nursing school so I'm not able to use the OPK consistently so that's why we've stuck with the E4D instead of at pos OPK. I was able to be home around when I thought ovulation would be this past month and got my first pos OPK on day 15, Fertilty Friend estimated ovulation to be on the 16th. We had just done it on day 14 so I left it at that one attempt, and then did it again a few days later. Apparently the stars didn't align even though I was hopeful. Contemplating going to E3D since we've been trying so long but I'm just really scared about making it more boy friendly with this being my last chance

AAA no that is NOT a small amount, that would have swayed blue, so let's be glad you didn't get pregnant.
I mean like the barest minimum necessary for comfy BD, like a dime size dab or a quarter.
I wouldn't go to e3d, I'd add in the attempt next time through though.

Okay cool, maybe there was a reason it didn't happen this month then good to know. I will use much less Preseed next go around. Cycle day 14 is on a Monday this month, with 18 falling on a Friday. I'm only in clinicals on Saturday and Sunday so I may try to just track with OPKs this month so that we only have one attempt for sure. I'm just afraid of missing it since we've been trying so long. Will laying down after BD increase odds of blue much? I've been J&D except for last month, so maybe that's something I can drop to help odds of conception? Is there a way for me to update a previous dream package so you can see my old stats and anything that's changed or would I just need to order a whole new one?

Yes, laying down longer after BD may help. I got my daughter laying flat all night so I can say 100% it's possible!
I think you should be doing every 4 days in addition to the positive OPK because that is just going to be better. It will guard against early O or late O especially since you're busy.
Yes you can just renew your plan if you want to for a small fee. You don't need to reorder your plan!!

if the +OPK and E4D fall pretty close together will that second attempt not lower our odds a lot? I know you can't give exacts, but would you feel reasonable with it?
Okay great I'm plum exhausted tonight but I will update my information and get it renewed tomorrow!

having 2 attempts in fertile window (back when the stats were more clear on this) dropped our success rate about 10% from 75% to 65%. Now more and more people are doing the one attempt and so it's much more muddled with only about 5% difference between 70% for one attempt to 65% for two. (this is an average over the last few years, may not mesh exactly with what stats are saying this particular month). So it does make a difference but it's still all very much in line with overall success rates of the site.

Sorry to hijack this thread but I'm in the same situation. I've usually fallen pregnant with first attempt to conceive (ie. First cycle) and this is the first time that I haven't fallen pregnant despite one attempt at positive OPK both cycles.
The only few thing I can attribute the lack of success these two cycles is that I jumped and dumped both cycles which I've never done before. Previously when I fell pregnant, I had always laid with my hips slightly elevated (propped on a pillow) all night.
Perhaps if you feel you've done a great sway, ditch the jump and dump
That's what I'll be doing this cycle - fingers crossed for both of us [emoji16]

You guys, if you get pregnant in the past within 1-2 months, that is very happy fortune and NOT a guarantee of future times to conception. It takes fully fertile couples doing nothing to sway and actively trying to conceive, 3-6 months average to conceive. So please give it at least 3 or 4 months before you start stressing about conception.
I cannot recommend going from immediate J and D straight to laying flat all night with your hips propped. There is a ton of wiggle room between those two extremes. Give it 5 minutes or 10 minutes or 15. Don't just do a total 180 and lay flat all night (and for the love of all that is pink and sparkly, don't prop your hips!) Now this doesn't mean you can't get a girl this way, I got my daughter laying flat all night...but I'd been trying for 6 months and had dropped all other sway tactics (except diet and one attempt) first. Do not go right from immediate J and D plus one attempt to laying flat all night with your hips propped after only 2 months, this is swaying and TTC messing with your head!

Thanks for that Atomic!
Hahah I like that statement about loving all things pink and sparkly
I Won't prop my hips for sure this cycle then cos that's what I did when I got my two boys
I did wait 15 minutes last cycle but will wait longer this time.
Still taking femara this cycle and keeping my fingers and also my toes crossed!

Atomic, I renewed my plan today so that we could talk personally but it is saying I'm still not active. Not sure if I need to do something else. Or could you possibly message me? Not sure what I'm doing wrong here.

As atomic already knows I'm having similar issues with conceiving while swaying pink
Was super lucky with my boy and got pregnant 2nd month of trying. Been trying for 4 months this time (first month was a poor attempt though so should probably discount that).
Getting a bit frustrated but won't panic and drop all the sway tactics. I have previously been doing one attempt on positive OPK but this month I did one attempt on Friday morning and one attempt Sunday evening. I got a positive OPK on Saturday evening and again on Sunday morning. We shall see if that's worked. FX for me and for all the other pink swayers on this thread.

Praying it works for you! As she says, try not to worry too much though. I'm only concerned because we've been trying the better half of two years now, with only one MMC at 11 weeks and one chemical pregnancy. All 4 of my boys were 6 months or less. But hopefully we will both get there soon!

Has this been worked out?
